Brighton dealt with Chelsea mercilessly. I don't know if am wrong to say, Potter intentionally sold out this match to his former club. The formation and selection of players he used in playing against Brighton are so wrong(3,4,2,1). He How can you play a three-man defence in an away match against a club that pushes attacks and also needs winning desperately?
Am very much disappointed with Chelsea's coach changing ball formations every week

Spurs almost lost to Bournemouth, but Spurs were the only ones who could recover at the end of the game and win the game... Chelsea could not maintain the positive trend they have achieved since Graham Potter took charge of the club. And they had to be destroyed at home by the former club that Graham Potter had managed. Brighton seems to be showing they can do better without Graham Potter. Actually I wasn't too surprised when Chelsea had to drop points, which surprised me when I saw how easy it was for Brighton to score against them. Chelsea only replied to 1 goal which was not enough for them to at least get 1 point.

Manchester City narrowly escape today match with just a goal difference and this is a very bad one for Manchester City because alt of goals were expected in the mathc since they up against a smaller club but it is so unfortunately the match ende with just 1 goal.

If we look at the statistics, indeed Manchester City can dominate the game, but being under pressure does not make Leicester City lose to create opportunities even though they did not score goals. Without Erling Haaland I see Manchester City's attack weakened and can't do much. It seemed they needed the young man to be in their front row.

He should be sticking to at least some routes. Changing everything and turning the squad upside down isn't always the right solution. Taking into account that Chelsea wasn't horribly bad under Tuchel, Potter shouldn't be trying out too many experiments during this phase of the season.

I wonder whether Tuchel really got sacked because of bad performances or whether then new boss/bosses of Chelsea are on an ego trip and wanted to change things whatever way they envisioned to be great for them. In my opinion Tuchel isn't a bad coach and I would have kept him for at least a little while and see how things play out. Now Chelsea hasn't improved at all.

That's not surprising especially because I'm sure Brighton will do well at home. In my previous post, I said Brighton have a mission to win that match because they are playing at home, and it is true that they beat chelsea with a promising score of 4-1. But I believe a defeat like this is hard to believe because Chelsea can actually be relied on in that match.

Newcastle are now fourth in the standings.

Newcastle are getting better, they took advantage of that improvement to take maximum points without any mistakes. But I don't expect much from them because in reality Newcastle are still in the stage of improvement.

Spurs fought hard to win Bournemouth. The made a brilliant come back in the second half the match ended 2-3.As for Chelsea loss Loftus-cheek and Chalobah crippled Graham Potters strategy with their OG. Everyone was expecting the exact opposite of  what played out between Brighton and Chelsea seeing that Graham Potter who left Brighton for Chelsea will understand the tactics of his former club but instead got his first loss for the season and the match ended in the first half.

Brighton was unpredictable because they played by winning a lot of goals even though there was an own goal 2 but Chelsea couldn't reply and they struggled quite a bit until the end of the game, you can say Brighton is a dark horse that can't be guessed even though we previously concluded Chelsea will win but it was all wrong because Brighton broke your prediction.

The only team that can survive is Newcastle who has now climbed the top back to standings 4 in the Premier League, they beat several other teams I think they are strong enough to beat this should not be underestimated because I'm pretty sure Newcastle can be a competitor title.

Man City defeats Leicester and gains ground Chelsea's loss to Brighton 4:1 is very disappointing for Chelsea to be defeated in this manner, with Trossard scoring the first goal in five minutes just too amazing and Pascal Gross scoring the second goal during the additional two minutes added and Kai Havertz scoring Chelsea goal with a good assist from Conor Gallagher. You've said the truth, and it looks like Newcastle fans just need to enjoy the moment instead of expecting much in the end. It's too early to say that Newcastle can keep up their good form, but the improvement so far has been great.

If Newcastle can be in top 4 by January, many good players will be attracted to the club and it will help them contest to secure a champions league spot.

For sure, some players will be attracted not because of their chances of being in the Champions League, but because of the money and high salaries. But that will soon change when Newcastle prove their quality until the end of the season.

I am indeed not happy with Potter's selection for the match. And Chelsea paid dearly for it. This is the issue I have with many managers, the man is struggling to make sure everyone fits in. He comes up with some horrendous team selections. The team looked out of sync. Therefore, I wouldn't criticize any player on this match because I don't believe any of the players in this game comprehended how to play in that formation. Imagine him bringing in Broja, a target man then send him to the wing. Does this make any sense?

But we know this is a Premier League competition anything can happen this is one moment to prove there is no weak team except the unlucky team  

And yes we are still monitoring Newcastle somehow this team suddenly became a solid and strong team even though there are no famous players there.

chelsea really had big bad luck, 2 own goals scored by loftus and chalobah made me suspect that it was a bit on purpose. but I don't want to speculate any further because this match is over and Brighton won 4-1 over Chelsea. this is the worst thing that has happened to Chelsea since potter took over as Chelsea coach.

After Chelsea was humiliated by Brighton, now it's Liverpool's turn to be left behind by Leeds. Time has only been running for 4 minutes and Liverpool must lose 1 goal. It's been a really great week because the smaller clubs are showing the pressure on the favorites. Previously there was also Tottenham who almost lost when they traveled to Bournemouth, lucky they could rise in the second half by creating 3 goals. Indeed there is still a lot of time for Liverpool to be able to do the same as Tottenham did, I want to see how far they can turn things around.

Chelsea was still beyond our expectations but it was a game anything could happen but I'm sure there must be a lot to lose in this match, Potter had to be humiliated by his former team and the defense made an unintentional mistake that was an own goal whereas of all That's Chelsea far behind and I think 4-1 is beyond my expectations.
Chelsea seems unable to maintain the standings while on the other hand Man United are waiting for their victory against West Ham and if they win it will certainly be shifted so the competition is getting tougher unless Arsenal and Mancity are a bit far from the difference in points.

Today Liverpool also fell behind goal in the first 4 minutes, will this be Liverpool's defeat again?
Expect something to change again for Klopp and his players.

That was really surprising but such things happen on the premier league from time to time, Chelsea had very good performance in the past rounds and no one expected such situation but it still a normal thing in football

Manchester City have taken the lead from Arsenal for now. But it feels like the lead will change hands again. Because Arsenal don't have a very challenging game ahead as it is a home game against Nottingham. I'm aware of the fact that Nottingham defeated Liverpool last. This would boost their morale against Arsenal but it is still a very difficult job for them. Arsenal are a much more consistent team than Liverpool these days. Therefore I don't expect them to make big mistakes in Emirates.

De Bruyne's goal by a free-kick was really delightful to watch also. Manchester City won by only 1-0 and this must be because of some improvement in Leicester defense recently. But they couldn't resist Manchester City anyway as it was a very tough game. Apart from that the result of the Brighton - Chelsea match was shocking indeed. Potter couldn't take advantage of Brighton's weaknesses despite knowing them well.

Chelsea's Potter is yet to have is starting 11 he switches players in every match and this is not  creating stability within the team. But his action to substitute Kepa today was due to injury which I hope is not serious considering is such in a fine form and already world Cup bound with Spain. Chelsea's worse player should be cucurella, he gave Trossard too much space to run towards him, I think his transfer fee his affecting him already. Brighton have continue to torment big clubs in EPL due to there pattern of play, imagine winning possession against even the Almighty Pep's team. I think its now time team start taking them serious. Trossard should be in a team bigger than Brighton what a player!!

If man united wins tomorrow Chelsea will come down the table more. The top four fight is taking shape already and getting tough, Newcastle on the hand are a team that looks ready to frustrate opponents this season and fight for this top four till the very end

I was very happy when I saw Mohammed Salah score to equalize in the 14th minute. However Leeds' quick goal was surprising. Luckily Liverpool can reply before halftime in the first half, it will make it easier for them to turn ahead in the second half later. I admit that Leeds played well and were disciplined, it made it difficult for Liverpool to exploit the defense they built. Their attacks are also well organized.
