The new owners of Newcastle are doing everything in their power to h make the club title contenders in the EPL,  they are investing in the team massively, their transfer dealings have been productive and effective. Quite a number of top players including Coutinho, Isak, Trippier etc have joined the club and are excelling and improving the team positively. This just shows the plan and the level at which Newcastle wants to be playing and competing.

I believe Coutinho isn't in Newcastle and is in Aston Villa but yeah I very much agree that Newcastle have invested quite a lot since the change in ownership but there have been some where they have bid quite above the market value like for example Chris Wood. Newcastle have paid around 75m for Isak and around 30m for Wood and both mostly sits out while Wilson plays most of the games. They have three strikers now and they spent around 100m on players which they don't use much, I feel they don't have a particular plan in transfer market and are getting players without much thinking. I although do like some of the signings and they have been crucial in Newcastle recent success but I think they need to do a bit of sensible thinking before making signings.

Actually this is just the beginning I think for Newcastle because in any case no one has really been able to make them known properly with their current players and this is their first step to bring in other great players in the future. But the fact is that even with their current squad they will already be transformed into a club that can be a dark horse at this time and that means that the funds spent are actually going in a good direction now.

Eric Ten Hag made a very big decision about Ronaldo in Manchester United. The decision is so bold,I didn't expect a new coach of his calibre to make such decision. I think Southampton is a team that can hurt other teams from the top from time to time. Sometimes they just get destroyed, and sometimes you can't crack their defense and they manage to make it extremely hard for the opponent. This was such a game and Arsenal lost steam over the course of the game.

Southampton have often surprised the top teams so far even though they have continued to experience adversity but when facing big teams they actually played very well like against arsenal, I think actually in the match against arsenal, southampton played quite well even though they were 1 goal behind but they were able to pressing arsenal even so that the score ended up being 1-1, playing at home, southampton had higher morale and even at the end of the match, southampton almost added the score but unfortunately they missed a lot of chances.

Southampton has also beaten Chelsea 2-1 and they gave Manchester United an incredibly hard fight as well, but lost 0-1 with Manchester being a little bit lucky if I recall that game correctly as I believe Southampton was the dominant team in the game. So yes they aren't to be underestimated, but I think that is very rarely the case for any team in the Premier League anyway. The Nottingham Forest vs. Liverpool was still quite an exception and probably a big shock to Jurgen Klopp as well. Now that they are destroying Ajax I think Klopp will be fine again with the current performance. Nonetheless they quickly need to deliver in the Premier League as well if they want to be involved in the competition for whatever is still possible for them.

I think one of the reasons most clubs don't want Ronaldo is as said, due to his age and experience. He is past his peak performance and can only be of much use in leagues with less stress, unlike the English premiership. Also, with the vast experience he has garnered over the years, he might be too heady or superior to the managers or team members. If I were him, either I go to the Spanish league or to the American league  because he still has to remain fresh for Portugal in their oncoming world cup campaign.

If Ronaldo want to play in Spanish league, he will only prefer La Liga Santander which is where the club (Real Madrid) that he was before he went to Juventus, then back to Manchester United. The best is for him to later join MLS is what I can think, but I do not think it is yet good time he should join.

I had read the news regarding Chelsea who were interested in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo into the Chelsea club. But it seems that the only one who is interested in bringing Cristiano Ronaldo to the blues is Todd Boehly as the owner of Chelsea. but Graham Potter as Chelsea coach does not seem to agree. Some clubs like Arsenal and New Castle even recognized Cristiano ronaldo's ability and they needed him but they couldn't sign him because they were more afraid of the impact on the club itself. Talking about impact, to my understanding I think the impact means how the other players with react to his presence in the team as some people will see him as competition to them, his wages might trigger jealousy and envy from some and some will feel intimidated by his presence and if these coaches see this as a problem then if should really be something to be looked into but in my opinion Ronaldo is still a great player and still has something positive to offer at any club he finally moves to.
