Look at a player like Joao Felix, he is also hindered by how the manager sets his team up to play, Joao Felix could as well leave Athletico Madrid in January, i heard Arsenal are interested.

Having said that, if it is Erik Ten Hag that has made the decision to sign Griezmann, then it is what it is, he is a professional manager who knows better than i do, but i don't think this move would/should affect their purusit of Gakpo who is a player for the long term, they can definitely get the two of them, with Griezmann obviously being for the short term.

Actually in this case we also can't say it's Simeone's fault.
It's true that at Atletico their games are boring because they are always on the defensive all the time, but on the other hand if you look at Griezmann's own track record he hasn't been very good since he was at Barcelona so it's hard to say this was Simeone's fault.
Regardless, this will be an advantage for Griezmann if this transfer actually occurs.

I agree with you Griezmann will be better fit for la Liga or Seria A team. I dislike it when Manchester United approaches players that are not vital for the team. It appears that none of the managers that United is putting in have learned from successful leaders like pep and klopp. Take a look at City, Liverpool, and even Arsenal. They all signed the perfect players instead of the wrong ones, which is why they have been successful for the past few years. Sign players that are hungry and young rather than big-name players.

Greizemann may have passed his prime, and also have had a bad performance in his previous club but he's still a fine player to have in Manchester United. Even though he did not score in the world cup he was an integral part of the French team and had a lot of goal involvement to the extent that he even was man of the match in the France game with Morocco. He is now playing more like a creative player and not just a striker. Manchester United have to make plans incase a bigger club come wooing Rashford.

Atletico under simeone was an old club that was always using the old strategy. it seems like that griezmann can't perform so well with atletico. Simeone can't dig his potential and it's better for griezmann moving to the new club rather than staying at atletico madrid

I don't know which striker is the right fit for Manchester United.  Anthony is performing very well in the wing position.  Maybe Kane or Son.  However, the probability of Tottenham selling these two players is very low.  Especially against their rivals Manchester United.  The search for a tough forward for Manchester United has begun, let's see if they can find a good player.  I'm sure they won't get Mbappe, but I can't think of a player of Mbappe quality either.

Adding a new striker to Manchester United squad in the January transfer window will be very advantageous for the team. Manchester United really needs this player if they want to compete for any trophy this season, let alone the Premier League title. Watching some man u games before  the World Cup, I learned that the team is getting better, especially their winger, who has been contributing greatly. For the time being, I don't think the  club needs much work in midfielder currently because those players in the midfield are capable of carrying Manchester United to success this year, along with the defenders but currently they need striker support.

when talking about Frenkie De Jong. so actually Ten Hag has wanted De Jong since the last transfer market. But his hopes ran aground because De Jong seemed at that time still at home in Barcelona.
