After the departure of IIkay Gundogan, he was replaced with former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic and which I think is a perfect replacement and now that Riyad Mahrez is gone City still possess squad that's capable of winning as much as they won last season

Yes, for now we have seen a growing issue where Mahrez is likely to leave Manchester City and join Al-Ahli. Even in the progress of the transfer saga, it has been ensured that Al Ahli will get Mahrez in this transfer window. Even the position left by Mahrez doesn't really worry us because Grealish could play in that position if Guardiola wants him in that position. So I say that Manchester City still has a stock of quality players that keeps them from losing balance if their players leave in this transfer window.

I was trying to stream the match but I had poor network because I was away from home and didn't travel with my network.

With the team Man U is building now, I believe they would likely be better than Arsenal when the season eventually kickstarts. Friendly matches are not the main gauge to know what a club would perform though, it's just a warming-up program, yet I could still see that you are not paying attention to the 0-2 outcome where Man U defeated Arsenal. There's a pattern to Arsenal's kind of play that I've still not understood. Today they will play in their prime and the next day you see something terrible, I ask myself is this how they're going to play when the EPL begins? a few days ago someone said here was superior about Arsenal strength when in a friendly match against MLS and Arsenal won with a score of 5. I said at that time that it was not a true friendly match but later when Arsenal can compete against a rival team like MU even though it is in a friendly match but these two team are competing in earnest to see the mentality and strategy that must be used.

That's great if they can overcome the obstacles in the middle, but unfortunately, the pre-season is just a warm-up game because when it comes to real matches many things can change and sometimes they can fall short of expectations because last season Manchester United was impressive in pre-season matches.
Matches like this are good for getting new players from both clubs to adapt or at least start learning the strategies that coaches usually apply and also for building cohesiveness with other players in their new clubs.
I didn't watch the match because the pre-season match was not something that was quite interesting in my opinion, but Manchester United should be able to perform better in the new season because the funds they spend are big enough, and I think from the pre-season game Ten Hag will see which part of his squad still needs improvement so that he can bring in the right players that are suitable for them meaning additional spending in the transfer market.
