The game didn't live up to Ten Hag's expectations, but I applaud Manchester United's efforts to the end. Tottenham's two goals were lucky where the first came as a result of chaos in front of goal and the second because Martinez failed to throw the ball when anticipating the opponent's kick. I admit that Tottenham played better than Manchester United, but Ten Hag's troops also had a chance even though they failed in the end.

Today Chelsea also fell helplessly due to their first defeat to West Ham. Chelsea bowed low after West Ham awarded them 3-1 London Olympic Stadium, this made Mauricio Pochettino angry. Not sure why Chelsea performed so badly, but it looks like Pochettino's strategy is not working as expected.

Normally, I knew how difficult that match would have been considering that it's an away match for Manchester United but since Kane wasn't available anymore, I thought it will be a wise move to include Manchester United for win or draw match, I was shock to see what they did at the end, it wasn't just humiliating. I was disappointed and lost my bet, of 3 matches that I staked, it was only Manchester United that didn't bring my tickets home. I accepted my faith but what was it with the 3 goals the conceded, I wasn't the expect that kind of performance from Manchester United as early as the start of this season.

I thought Chelsea are done with the banter? This is going to be a long ride but I don't think it will be smooth one, perhaps a mad max furry because, this is too early to start not after all the transfer tweaking Pochettino had done. Last week, Enzo was praised for his performance but I didn't see anything spectacular about that but today penalty, they all changed the story because the banter was crazy, Caicedo that was making the Media headline gave them there worst nightmare that made West Ham to have extra goal. At this point, I don't know who to blame anymore, not Pochettino Manager nor the players, everything is wrong with Chelsea, how can 11 players be playing against 10 players and to score a single goal becomes a mission impossible.

I knew Manchester United couldn’t win against Tottenham. Manchester United hasn't really understood themselves yet. I was expecting the match to end in a draw, but unfortunately, Manchester United conceded two goals in the match, they couldn’t even score a single goal. Manchester United's performance is kind of poor to me this season. They won their first match against Wolves, but I will say they struggled to score a goal in the match. Ten Hag has to change his tactics, he has a long way to go. If Manchester United struggled to win wolves, then they will find it difficult to win strong clubs this season.

The defeats experienced by Chelsea and Manchester United surprised everyone because these two teams made quite good changes in the transfer window, but their hopes of continuing to appear consistently in every game will be difficult to achieve if the players are not able to show their best quality.

For Chelsea they haven't found a pure striker who is thirsty to score goals regularly in every match. Jakson still hasn't given his best quality in the last two matches. Pochettino should have played Lukaku but he didn't. Also for Manchester United where Hojlund is still unable to play because he suffered an injury during the pre-season match. I think Erik Ten hag was really disappointed with the defeat his team experienced against Tottenham.

Chelsea's problems are obviously not going to change in one month. And signing new players won't get results without building the game itself and tactics, this was evident on the pitch...... Enzo, who costs 121 million, fails to score a penalty and Caicedo, who costs 116 million, soon earns a penalty for an opponent. What to give such a huge amount of money for? I don't get it. Newcastle just looked for counter-attacks and tried to steal one point by a defensive game. Maybe they could have managed to do that with that game plan as well. Because it ended by only 1-0. Manchester City wasted so many goal opportunities. Especially Haaland wasted numerous opportunities. He wasn't on one of his good days I'm afraid.

Newcastle United were not very effective in this game but they have been managed very well in the last few years and have improved their game a lot in that time. They scored 5 goals against Aston Villa last week and had a great start to the league. I have high expectations for them this season. Manchester City were missing some important players before this match. When these two data coincided, I expected a surprise from Newcastle United but I was wrong. Pep has calculated how to stop Newcastle United. Also, I saw Kovacic and Gvardiol adapting quickly to the team. I think Manchester City will continue to be the most solid team in the league in the new season.

This is one of the reasons I still avoid bets given for Chelsea.
Their condition is still unstable even though there is still confidence to improve, but still the results obtained by Chelsea are still not well predictable.
The score is quite striking and the most annoying thing in this case is that they still conceded a goal even after West Ham lost 1 player midway through the second half.
Some of the things that annoy me are the poor defence and not very disciplined and the penalty miss in the first half really makes Chelsea have to improve themselves so that they are not the same as last season.

Yep. Chelsea performed really badly against West Ham, I can't believe that they were defeated by 3 goals. Chelsea only made 1 goal in the first half, they couldn't score any goal in the second half. While West Ham scored 2 goals in second half although they played with 10 players since minute 67. Not sure why Chelsea performed worse in second half, but Chelsea looked like an amateur team.

They could win the ball possession, they also made more shot attempts. But they have no accuracy in shooting, so they couldn't score more goals. Pochettino must evaluate the ability of Chelsea players in shooting.

This is something shocking to me also after Manchester United lost 0-2 to Tottenham Hotspur. After the departure of Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, who is there best top scorer I felt it was going to affect the team for a while before they put themselves back together again. But to my surprise, they were able to beat Manchester United even though at some point the pressure on the game was intense from both teams. I was thinking Manchester United will use their lack of attacking power since Kane left to their advantage but unfortunately it turned out to be their worst nightmare after luckily winning Wolves in their first premier league game this season.

Chelsea was playing well from the first half up to the minute they went for the second half break. Everything took a turn after they came back for the second half. Chelsea had opportunities but couldn’t utilize them from the first half. It’ll be a big disappointment to the entire Chelsea team and fans after a poor end for them today. I hope this won’t weaken them but improve more, we are just in the start of the season, they can turn things better for themselves in the next games to come.

Chelsea can continue on their spending spree but they need more organization, the players are not used to playing with each other and more often than not it seems they are either one step ahead or slower than their mates.

Having said that, there is no need for Chelsea to press the panic button yet, they haven't started the season the way they would have liked it, but Mauricio Pochettino still needs time to get used to his players and to get his best starting team; Chelsea should set their targets at a top four finish, i don't think they can win the EPL title.

Every game has a missed chance that could have been a turning point, but Chelsea lost the whole game, they had time to turn things around and take at least a point, but instead they conceded the third goal.
Now Luton, Nottingham and Bournemouth are waiting ahead of them - these are frankly weak rivals, so Pochetino is lucky to some extent, because if the rivals were stronger, then talk of resignation would have already begun. Although if Chelsea does not take at least 7 points in these games, I am sure such conversations will begin.

Chelsea didn't seem to have any luck against West Ham United, because apart from Enzo Fernandez who failed to execute a penalty well enough in the first half. Chelsea also could not take advantage of the opportunity when one of the players from West Ham United was sent off in the second half, even though Chelsea could control the ball with more than West Ham United. But Chelsea still seemed not lucky enough at that time so they had to accept defeat at the London Stadium.

I don't agree that Chelsea possesses a greater number of experienced players compared to West Ham. Are we assessing this based on age, years of playing football, or even their time in English football? Chelsea might make an error by underestimating the value of experience; it holds significance in the present. Experience can often assist players in grasping coaches' intentions better.

I'm actually not too surprised by Chelsea losing but Manchester United is the one I regret.
Even though we know that Tottenham is one of the big clubs but for the current situation I expected a lot from Manchester United but they were really disappointing.
Their defence even though in the penalty box there are so many players who are there but they always make the same mistake by not seeing Tottenham players who are always standing free.
This must be fixed by Manchester United because if things like this continue to be allowed then I think something like this could happen again in another match.

Today they did well, the player's attacked well. Raheem Sterling was the best player for Chelsea in the first half, big disappointed to see Enzo missing the penalty kick that should have seen them ahaed and made it difficult for blues to get back into the game.

I would consider Chelsea result a really big surprise so far considering how good they played in the first game at home against Liverpool.I think they are still a new team considering that Pochettino had time but most probably not enough to make them a stable team yet and the fact that they did not win against 10 players West Ham shows that they wanted badly to win and played in a chaotic way desperately trying to win while giving West Ham chances that unfortunately for Chelsea they were converted to goals.

Given how dominant Chelsea was against Liverpool the previous week and even in the preseason games I watched,it comes as much of a surprise to me.Chelsea plays well but the truth is that I don't believe the team has finishing line yet. Again, there are some errors in Chelsea's defense line today, so if they were able to control the pitch with that ball possession, I anticipated them to launch some significant offensive that may result in numerous goals. Seriously, Pochettino needs to revisit the transfer market and add a few required players. I can't just assume that despite controlling the field, they were unable to defeat the opposition with just 10 men.

Aston Villa did not want to lose the opportunity to win in front of the support of their fans. It seems that Unai Emery continues to improve the performance of his players after last season also appeared so extraordinary. This defeat left Everton in the temporary relegation zone and they must get 3 points in the next game if they don't want to experience the same season as before.

In order to avoid being relegated this season, Everton must quickly address their poor performances.
