Last season on both encounters the Citizens won one and drew, this time around maybe Newcastle United could pull some surprises. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Also, a certain problem for Manchester City is the fact that the team has just played a UEFA Super Cup match, unlike Newcastle United, which, after the match with Aston Villa, has been systematically preparing for the match with City all week. At least, Pep Guardiola criticized the English Premier League that the match was set for Saturday, not Sunday or Monday, and sarcastically expressed many thanks. Although, of course, Guardiola, together with his staff and with his experience, should neutralize the negative consequences of this, but the fact remains. Newcastle has a definite advantage because of this.

Tired legs and fatigue is another one to be considered between Man City and Newcastle United. Did City not play Sevilla during the midweek they will be exhausted and might see another player getting injured.
Erling also wasn't involved on the list amongst the both players that found the back of the net another stake and prediction might be for Haaland not to score against Newcastle. I am for Howe and Newcastle in this match the odds are not friendly so I have to think out of the box.

Manchester City's performance against Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup final seems to be a poor performance compared to last season. Many may say that Sevilla's performance has improved compared to before but I would say Sevilla's performance was not good but Manchester City's poor performance is why Sevilla did so well in the UEFA Super Cup final against Manchester City. Such a performance against Sevilla will undoubtedly put Manchester City far behind in their next Premier League match against Newcastle. If Newcastle can perform like they did against Manchester City last season and in their first Premier League match together, and if Manchester City can perform like they did against Sevilla then Newcastle are more likely to win this match.

yeah, very much agree with you mate, the match coming up between Manchester city and Newcastle united is and will be a very interesting one to watch, reasons being like you have mentioned, on a normal circumstance, one would have simply assume this match to be an easy win for Manchester city since they have won most of their games , and their record in the last season speaks high of them, but then, looking at the formation of Newcastle united, and also their continual improvement with every match they play, I think they cant be underrated, they sure have a chance against Manchester city, though i trust that Manchester city will do all it can to protect and keep its winning streak going, and the fact they are playing at home also gives them that advantage.

Tough game coming up this weekend, I've place my wager in favour of Manchester City, I believed they would triumph over the magpies who are also on the lists to be competitive contender for the EPL title this season.  However City will face them without the presence of most of their crucial players that's handling pressures, but nothing to worry about because Pep Guardiola knows how to handle Eddie Howe in league game. Injury hitting hard on the club this time, feeling pity for the cityzens because I believed they will find challenges dealing with some elite clubs this summer. Sheffield and forest have been facing the same result in the first week. Either of clubs were losing. It's hard to determine the result of this match. In my opinion, forest has a better chance to win the game rather than sheffield. My main reason is forest was able playing so well against arsenal.
It was also losing by scoring 1 goal against arsenal. Arsenal was almost drawn against palace. Even though Crystal Palace is not considered a strong team in the EPL, Sheffield was still losing to them. Forest's odd is very good.
Given the poor performance of Sheffield, I would rather choose the forest as my preference. Forest is far superior compared with sheffield. Picking a sheffield will be a very risky choice.
It would be better to take the result from the first week of EPL as a reliable data.

I think, Nottingham forest will use home advantage to defeat Sheffield united 2-1in this match which is my prediction, because they will not allow what happened in their pre-season match that made their opponent to defeated them not to happen in this premier league competition. Based on their starting in this match, I think the match will going to be a tough match but Nottingham forest will use second half to achieve the winning goal to defeat Sheffield united to achieve three points from the match. Since Sheffield united are still experiencing some challenge in the area of midfield, i think they will struggle for draw match 1-1 but Nottingham forest strikers will not allow such thing to happen in this match than to use die minutes to achieve victory.

The line up that Pep Guardiola installed with the 4-2-3-1 formation when he won the UEFA Super League is likely to continue in the second match of the English Premier League against Newcastle United. It's not surprising that Manchester City will get quite high odds considering that their opponent is Newcastle, which is a team that has been quite strong since last season. It can be said that these two teams at the start of the season were at the same level and it is certainly quite difficult to predict who will secure the full 3 points. The absence of Kevin De Bruyne, I think that has had quite an effect on the development of Manchester City's midfield and Pep Guardiola must immediately address this.

Newcastle come as guests and we can be sure this will be a good opportunity for Eddie Howie's squad to humiliate Manchester City at home. But seeing that his chances of winning are also quite slim. I agree.Manchester City looks like have really high odds as of right now at 1.69 as until near the start of the game I have seen the same pattern from all sport bet providers,the odds comes down dramatically before the game starts.It is of no importance or better it is of no big importance if a certain player misses a match no matter how good and indispensable this player is for a team like Manchester City,they are a team which they have 22 super star players and they can substitute him without problems,I am sure the bookies are wrong and we are great to bet on Manchester City,most likely is going to be a winning bet for us.
