Manchester united is a shame, they played so badly that even I had to restrain myself from launching my monitor, norwich played much better in my opinion.

Small steps count and as long as the team didnt end up losing then its good enough. The only good player on the field was De Gea and if it wasnt for De Gea then Manchester United would have lost. It was a close call if it wasnt for the penalty

Manchester United is being talked about a lot more lately than any other team, I'm actually a bit surprised about this. Is it because of Ronaldo or because of their new coach "Rangnick", but I don't see them as a very attractive team so far even if they can win.

They have the potential to win the league but at this point, losing one game would means even harder to get to that dream. Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are the top teams that are expected to win the league but those teams are aware of Rangnick right now because Manchester United is now a different team compared when Ole still handled the team

Yesterday the day ended as predictably as possible - all favorites won their matches and even Manchester United won their match.
I hope the MU club will be able to fight for the championship at least next season this season they did the most important thing for the fight in the next years, namely, they fired Solskjær.

if they can maximize their performance with a new coach, I feel they can still compete for the top 4 this season.
Maybe for the title it will be a little difficult, but they must be able to reduce the margin because in the last two seasons they have always been in the top.
if indeed they are now overthrown and finish in a position more than the top 4 of course this is a loss.
There are still at least 22 games left, they still have enough time to push their way into a better position

For sometime now in Manchester United their is a transformation,  things have really changed,  it is not the same things used to be as before. The team defence  performance is better now compare to before.

Man United's 0-1 win over norwich was enough to keep them 3 points. But I'm not sure if they don't get a penalty maybe they will play a draw and even lose. Looking at the development of the game it's already there, but they haven't played well. If yesterday there was no De Gea maybe they would have lost. De Gea did very well, he saved two kicks that I think deserved to be a goal. Next they'll go to Brenfortd, if they're still the same as this maybe they'll draw.

Right now it's just a new start under new management, so this will take some time, while it's not easy for anyone to have very good results very quickly from these difficult situations. Good thing now they are doing some good and having clean sheets, which is more important for them. After OLE, they play 6 games and 4 wins and 2 draws really significant for them, hopefully now they will be able to have some more essential wins for this season.
 
In coming January transfer window is also very essential as many teams going to increase their strength for remaining part of this season and Manchester United is also looking for some buying's which will make some more changes and this squad could be good enough for staying at top 4 positions for this season with some good fight into Champions League knock out stage.

liverpool also had a game where they couldn't score many goals, this aston villa is becoming strong

despite play against 10 men manchester can only win with 1 goal difference while liverpool once again saved by divock origi at the very last minute, chelsea almost got a draw even left behind first , 3 penalty in this crazy game that was unexpected... jorginho luckily successful converted those two penalties.

if you look at the actual appearance of chelsea, city and liverpool they actually looked good and were not underperforming but indeed their opponents also couldn't be underestimated which made it difficult for them to score goals.

btw Liverpool's goal was scored by Salah through a penalty. The original goal in the last minute was Liverpool's previous game when they were against Wolves

I know it is weird to see these huge clubs to be saved by penalties and all of them at the same week so it looks a bit complicated and begs the question if there were anything going on? You know like under the table hidden stuff that allowed these teams to win?

I can't say that there were or there were not since I would not be able to hear about it even if refs or anyone did something like that, but if you look at the penalties they all look like legit penalties. Like which one would you not give? Be honest, they were all proper fouls that required penalty. And as obvious from the results these big clubs all have at least one penalty tacker that is great at what they do.

Newcastle performance this season are terrible. They got brutally beaten today against Leicester. Their squad was probably weak, and couldn't withstand Leicester. Although, is was a home match for Leicester, and everyone expected a winning from them. Newcastle are presently at the relegation zone, with 10 goals. Also, they have conceded 34 goals, which means they have poor defence system.  Eddie Howe needs to rebuild their squad.

Chelsea have been quite inconsistent when we take the previous weeks into account. They had unpleasant results lately and they needed a boost to gather strength. And they got the boost needed against Leeds with a 3-2 victory. But it was a very difficult game for them at the same time also. Leeds were so close to drawing with Chelsea with a 2-2 result but Jorginho saved the team.

I think that the Chelsea v Leeds match is going to be fun in two days. Maybe Leeds are not in a good shape but they are a capable team as for scoring. Even if they don't score, they can have dangerous attacks very easily against their competitors. Chelsea have a strong defense but even they might concede at least one goal from them. I think that Chelsea can win this match with a 2-1 or 3-1 score.

I agree that Leeds could score against almost anyone if we look at their records but Chelsea's defense has been shaky lately. They conceded three goals against Zenit in Champions League and three against West Ham in the Premier League. They could win against Leeds because of their superior offense and not on their "solid" defense.

Chelsea managed to win after conceding goals as expected in this prediction. They are fortunate not to drop two points and stay close with City. It's quite unfortunate for Leeds to not have taken a point there hehe.

Funny how the other three biggest teams won by 1-0 and by penalty. It's like written by someone that the scoreline should be the same. Chelsea's last goal was also on penalty.

let's look at barcelona:

barcelona hasn't had good results, but they have a good coach, that would be clear because barcelona is playing well, but they don't have a player to score goals

going back to manchester united, they have good players it's not justifiable to play as poorly as they have been playing, it's true that in the last few games they've been lucky to win even though they play very poorly

Four losses out of five matches caused them to drop to bottom half of the table but you have to take a look at the teams they faced before losing badly to Crystal palace. Losing to Brentford was probably the other least expected result but they've won against Arsenal while losing to City and Liverpool. Those are not easy matches.

Expect them to drop more points when they face Chelsea next.

stay in the Premier League. Hopefully some of the teams that are above Newcastle experience many defeats too, in order to open up a little chance
for Newcastle to survive in the Premier League. Because if Newcastle don't play in the Premier League next season, it will be difficult to convince
star players to join Newcastle. So I'm very curious when the transfer window opens, which new players they will try to bring in.

Benitez was quite successful at Liverpool as well as Ancelotti at other clubs, but they both didn't produce good results for Everton so maybe the problem at Everton is that they don't have enough funds to spend on players to build a strong team.
Against Crystal Palace they gave a tough fight in the first half but unfortunately I only watched the first half and when I saw the final score I didn't like it it turned out that they conceded quite a lot of goals.

Crystal palace didn't give Everton any breathing space,  the game was hard for ever  their defense was not impressive  at all. Seems  the problem maybe from the coach too for them to lose with no even a goal .

The only option for Newcastle to remain in EPL and avoid relegation is to sign some new quality players come January transfer window, fortunately the owners are very rich and can afford to buy talented players, Howe is trying his best to reform the club thus I am not surprised that they are well beaten by Leceister City who had also struggled lately, it's good to watch Tielemans scoring two goals after recovering from calf injury, I believed his absence in their culminated to their bad performance so far in the league.

1.The new owners of Newcastle are so rich that they wouldn't care if Newcastle goes to Championship next season.
2.Even if Newcastle goes to Championship,they might return to the Premier League in 2023.
AFAIK,there was a big prize for the team,that wins Championship.It was 150 million pounds,if I remember this correctly.This might cover some of the costs.Such large sum should be enough for buying several world class players.
3.AFAIK,the new owners of Newcastle don't care about the football club only.They have some business interests in Newcastle and they want to expand their real estate business in that town.
Chelsea and Man City weren't successful right away,after Abramovich and the Arab billionaires arrived.They had to wait for a year or two.
Newcastle will be fine in the long term.
