Manchester United players in the past have complained about Ralf Rangnick style of football that it’s old school. Rangnick is a manager that can drill this players into shape. He came with the 4-2-2 approach which was a pressing kind of football. When Klopp came to Liverpool many players became injured because they had to adjust to klopp style. Basically now I can't find any match strategy for them. The players are performing as they please. They have no connection with each other. Their understanding is not good. The coach was responsible for creating bonds between the players. He failed. So we don't see any improvement in United's performance.

It looks like United's management made a huge mistake when instead of "an inexperienced maybe interim manager" they hired another interim manager. Even if United manage to get some of the top coaches in the summer, it could turn out that the players have already forgotten how to be disciplined and how to behave under tough management, this is fraught with problems within the team.

I honestly think this United team is beyond redemption. There's literally nothing anyone can do to help them play well or win games consistently. That been said, the club's problem starts from the top and till they fix that, they will keep struggling even with the best managers and group of players.

Manchester United's performance in the second half was just terrible. It was so bad that they didn't have create a goal chance for themselves. They had 0 goal attempt in this half. And Manchester City benefited from their overwhelming effort by scoring two more goals. They secured a very easy victory by 4-1. Manchester United's big problem with their defense still goes on too. They should be focusing on improving their defensive line this summer also. Otherwise, they can have another bad season next time.

It will be funny, if Man United which have a stable financial for hiring a best coach for the team but in fact they just maintain the team with Rangnick's performance. I dont blame Rangnick personally, because that's all his efforts and We can't force him to change overall become good for short term. But if management have been satisfied with this achievement, They will keep sign his contract for long period and never be serious for hiring others.

Do you seriously think Rangnick has a future at Manchester United? I think that the search for a new coach for Manchester United is a very relevant issue. Solskjaer was a much better coach, but this fate did not escape him, the coach must show results, the team must win, if this is not the case, the coach will be fired sooner or later. With Rangnick, Manchester United will definitely not renew the contract.

This team has dropped from glory days. Rangnick should be replaced with a better manager. Since Ferguson left the club United have not been stable, the club's management choice of managers has not been productive. The club was not prepared for Ferguson's retirement. They have too many loud moth stars in dressing room to have good atmosphere with interim manager, especially if the results do not go their way. I blame transfer policy before this season. Ronaldo was totally not needed in the club and I feel like he is a big part of the problem. I get it that he was free and he more then paid his wages with all the marketing incomes but he never looks like real part of United squad.

Sancho was also a bad buy for me, they already had Rashford and Greenwood at that moment and then you spend 100+M on same kind of player. They should have spent it somewhere else. If he was cheap, get him of course but to pay 100+M seems a bit over the top.

Yep, Rangnick's strategy is actually lagging behind in my opinion because the other coaches are now more modern in nature but Rangnick is still prioritizing the tactics that were used before and this actually makes their game more restrained.
Putting player problems aside for now because it is seen from anywhere that initial tactics are important.
For example, when a temporary change was made by Carick who mixed up with more advanced tactics, they could run it well and this could not be done by Rangnick who put forward the old strategy.

The fact that Maguire is still playing at the back row means they are not improving at all lol. Did you watch the match though, Maguire was literally nutmegged and that caused another goal. There are alot of room for improvement on the back line and to start that, the team needs to bench maguire or else he will be making the same silly mistake every single week

Manchester City are aiming the title in the Premier League as much as Liverpool now. They proved it again in this derby game against Manchester United in Etihad as they were the victor by 4-1. Liverpool can still follow them right behind until their game against each other which is the most critical game for the title. It can even be a decider game for one of these teams. And it is in Etihad too which is a good advantage for Manchester City. But if Liverpool somehow manage to leave them behind in the standings and reach the title, it is going to be a legendary run in my opinion. Because they have reached this point after being far away from the leader.

Not only defense, Manchester United must fix all lines with good players, especially in midfield and wing positions. The addition of a few players will make them stronger but a quality coach will also help the team to return to good form. I'd like to see one of the names between Simeone, Pochettino or Zidane fill the Manchester United coach next season if Rangnick doesn't get a contract extension.

But by the way I am very happy for Manchester City's big win in the derby last night because at the moment they are 6 points clear of Liverpool. Maybe Liverpool can cut it down again to 3, but in any case the outcome of their 28th game against Brighton is not completely predictable especially due to the packed fixture schedule. Liverpool will host Inter for the Champions League tomorrow, so I expect some players to be exhausted by then.

Do you really think that is the problem, cause personally i do not think so at all, of course i know the Manchester United players can't be excused of any blame, i mean their uneagerness and lack of zest on the field of play is worrying enough and worthy of all the criticism possible. The league is coming to an end and as such, playing with fill strength isn't much of an option but an obligation for teams teams react comfortable with there league standing. I would have liked to say I was surprised at how Manchester City approached there game over the weekend with Manchester United but unfortunately, the reason was very clear. With Liverpool to have won there game against West Ham United by a goal difference, it was a chance for Manchester City to take all the advantage they could get and that counts towards the goals too.

I wouldn't say that Champions league is as important as premier league right now. The difference is that they already reached a good place with Champions league now, if they end up even going higher level there, they may lose entry to it next season and that is not okay. So, they should focus on getting to champions league next season as well. If they can do that, and go out of the group stages again next year that is a sustainable model.

Just be at the top 4 every year in premier league, and get out of champions' league group stages, do that every single year and you are going to end up with a good amount of money and a good roster thanks to it as well. Which in return means you can get better both in the league and in UCL long term.

We are in 28th round of this season right now if Cristiano Ronaldo is going to take long break then surely Manchester United having some bad time, but it's still going to stay at sixth position which is not good but suitable for them with very strange results and very poor performance in this all season current manager Rangnick trying to settle things but look like his strategy is not working so good thing he will leave after remaining 10 matches and new manager will have his own strategy and players now recently we have some good number of legendary players those are interested in this job, but management will decide this all after end of this season which is surely very poor for them and now after losing derby with score of 4 - 1 they are terrible.

They need some person with very new and solid ideas who can handle this greatest club is very suitable way like we have Arteta at Arsenal even he was also very bad in start.

Manchester City was easy on Manchester United in the second half that's why the game ended just 4-1, the match prove that Manchester United has a long way to in becoming the Manchester United that sir Alex Ferguson left, they play with fear and loss the ball every time they touch the ball, I know Manchester City is a good team but United makes them look as if they are untouchable on Sunday.
