Arsenal are playing like title contenders this season, their performances show they want to win the trophy this season. It’s been a very long time since Arsenal lifted the EPL trophy or the UEFA Champions league trophy for that matter. They have been a subject of mockery for this especially from the rival fans but they are showing glimpse of been title contenders this season winning 6 games out of 7 and currently sitting at the top of the table ahead of  Manchester City who have been unbeatable this season also.

They have been building up, it takes time to build a team that could win EPL and that's why it wasn't easy for them to do it, they spent years under Wenger and they built a strategy there, from him to now it took a while before they could be fine. In most cases, they were unlucky, they literally had a season with no loss and still lost because they got too much ties in that season and that's was unlucky.

I am expecting them to get even better, they have a young roster who knows how to play with each other and they are going to only get better at it overtime. Meanwhile other teams will have to replace certain players and that will cause them to get a setback for sure.

The odds for Arsenal - Tottenham are like this: Arsenal - 2.02  Draw - 3.80  Tottenham 3.30.

Playing the game in Emirates is making this difference obviously. I would expect much closer odds if it was going to be played in Tottenham's home. The Liverpool game might be even much harder if Liverpool collect themselves until the game. About the Manchester City game, it is going to be the biggest test of the season. No matter they are playing home or away, Manchester City are the most dangerous team in the league. If Arsenal win this somehow then things can get much more interesting about the competition for the title.

That said, their form looks admirable and even against weaker opponents. Just in the matches of the top teams against weaker teams nowhere is seen such confidence on the field as Arsenal at the moment, they have really gained a strong form and are unlikely to deliberately let anyone in their place in the standings

Arsenal is playing well this season, but it seems that they have a notable problem from time. No matter how good they are, they find it difficult to beat big teams. I don't know if they approach big teams with lack of confidence or whatever.
I am very confident that in that two fixtures against Tottenham and Liverpool, the best point Arsenal will survive with is 1 point. They cannot have more than that, that is why I have serious doubt for their ability to win the English Premier league title.

The game between Tottenham and Arsenal is going to be more than tough,fierce and combative this season than even last season,because Arsenal won't want to let Tottenham win them for the second time after they won them towards ending of last season.But I really think that game will be more combative and tough,also because Totteham are not happy that the gunners are topping the table so they will want to bring them down and be above Arsenal on the league table.They also have a quality front three,Son,Kane and Perisic.

I think a major change that happened to the quality of the first squad was the transfer of Jesus. He perfectly fits into the team and he scores constantly. He makes important goals again and again, which is what Arsenal lacked last season. Now they have a killer in their offensive game and can decide games with just a single attack.

Arsenal has been strong in both attack and defence this season. And consistently they are playing well. In 7 matches they scored 17 goals and conceded only 7 goals. But their opponents were not very strong. Despite being able to play well against relatively weak opponents, I look forward to seeing how they fare against strong teams. But I have considerable doubts whether the Arsenal team will be able to maintain consistency. I consider Manchester City as the favourite to win the title this season. The likes of Tottenham and Arsenal will slowly fall back.

Exactly, except for the game against Manchester United they haven't really been facing top teams. Conceding 7 goals in 7 games isn't amazing either. That is one goal per game on average. Especially in the top games conceding one goal can be one goal too many. It doesn't matter when you concede one and score four goals against a weak team, but making a comeback against stronger teams like Manchester City is a different story. It is not a disaster, but not amazing either.

The weeks after the current break will be more interesting. That's when Arsenal faces Tottenham and then Liverpool. If they are still able to keep winning and take home maybe 4 out of 6 points in those two games, I think that would be a moment to draw first conclusions.

I, as an Arsenal supporter, admit that Arsenal can be at the top right now, because Arsenal have only faced one big team in 7 games, and also
it turns out that Arsenal lost against Man United. So it's a tough test for Arsenal how when they face other big teams. Can Arsenal win or lose points
again when facing other big teams. That will be proven when Arsenal face Tottenham in the next match and continue to face Liverpool next.
If Arsenal can beat both teams I'm very optimistic Arsenal have a chance to win a trophy this season, but if Arsenal lose against Tottenham and
Liverpool, it means that the realistic target this season is to be in the top 4.

Yes this could be one reason, but Liverpool also sometimes lost against a weak team So besides that Arsenal also have new strengths from the players who have just brought
Next month will be a real competition for Arsenal as they have to play against some strong teams here we can see how big the chances of Arsenal to win the title, will their record stop or continue.

yeah that's right. we can only conclude whether arsenal has really become a strong team when Arsenal will face strong teams. looks like facing tottenham and liverpool will be a real test for Arsenal. because previously Arsenal only won against teams that were not too strong. and as you said if arsenal can win the match against tottenham and liverpool then from there we can only conclude the strength possessed by arsenal.

Arsenal were able to win 6 of 7 matches not without reason or some kind of luck, it was the result of hard work on the players and the improvement of the team's performance. I think these young Arsenal players need to be given a lot of support where sometimes their mentality is not very good against top teams like Manchester City, Liverpool or Chelsea. These have been some of the things that might be Arsenal's weak point, that should be changed.

It is true that Arsenal were able to win 6 from 7 matches and it is clear that this was not due to luck but the result of their hard work.

We can see the depth of the squad that Arteta has. The average Arsenal player is inhabited by young players. The main squad is not comparable to the second squad owned by Arteta. If one or two of their main players are injured, the substitutes to be replaced are not of equal quality. This is inversely proportional to the players owned by Pep at Manchester City.

We can't deny that the fact that if performance from liverpool still remain unstable at this moment but when arsenal against MU already proven that if it will be so hard even when arsenal to be the top place in EPL. It can still be beaten by another big club. The same thing is repeating again for arsenal when it was consistent at the early phase of EPL but it will be going down during middle season which will be dropping the morale from the players. This is not good for arsenal.
This will be giving a huge impact to the its performance. Liverpool still remain a strong team after it was beating manchester city

Manchester City there is still one game against Tottenham which is still pending and it could be decisive he will get a win or lose against Tottenham will decrease his points and one of them will be shifted to 3rd place, Manchester City must start seriously because the opponent they are facing is a big club that has many skilled players who have the potential to make Manchester City lose.

That match is really unpredictable because the two teams are the best so far this season. But in their last five matches, Tottenham has been more outstanding winning four and drawing one, while Manchester City won three and drew two. The last time they met Man City won the game by just one goal scored in the 82nd minute by Laporte. But with the rearrangement and the rejuvenation of the Tottenham team by coach Antonio Conte this match would surely be a match to watch.     

Even though Tottenham can get a win easily in the previous match, it is not necessarily that they will get a win against Manchester City, so far Manchester City still have a chance to win because they have Erling Haaland who during this match has contributed a lot to Manchester City because he often bring them the win, If you want to get a win then Tottenham have to plan a very important strategy to block the movement of Erling Haaland.

There are basically no differences between Manchester City and Tottenham in terms of their results. There is just a slight advantage in goal difference between Manchester City and Tottenham. In terms of goal difference, Manchester City is just a few points ahead of Tottenham.

Im even feeling doubt if arsenal can win against totenham hotspurs and i didn't even think if totenham can also be beaten easily by arsenal. Totenham is still on fire. I hope that totenham can win the game against arsenal. It seems like that totenham needs to learn a lot from what happened with MU. Arsenal looks so strong caused by it was always winning against low tier team but it's not for world class club.

You don't consider recent forms of Brighton and Liverpool. Brighton has good form and Liverpool has bad form. They are very different in recent performances and a club is in a good form won't suddenly lose it all easily. And if there is a team that is nervous before the match, it should be Liverpool, not Brighton. One more defeat will make things worse in Liverpool.

Liverpool has issues in both attacking and defensive systems. In attacking, they can not create enough spaces and opportunities to find goals and in defensive, they are very weak and vulnerable in this season. From Arnold to Van Dijk and their whole defense system, they have lot of under performance. Together, their defenders create so many weaknesses that can be exploited by opponents. I don't say Brighton is too weak to break Liverpool defense down.

Judging from the bookies odds Liverpool are much more favored and hopefully Liverpool can do it to keep the opportunity to be in the top 4 winning the match against Brighton, but I don't think the match will easy for Liverpool even though Brighton need to adopt with new coach Liverpool also not in good form they still struggling to back in consistent performance.

Spurs have been impressive this season under the care and management of Conte, it seems Conte actually understands the players better than Mourinho did.  One player Who has been outstanding from last season is Son, his pace and skills is something I cannot ignore, he is one of Tottenham's strength this season again and his hatrick against Liecester was the best way to respond to critics about hos poor form this season.
