My both teams to score bet on the Arsenal - Tottenham game won very easily. Tottenham had a really unfortunate game here after the red card especially. Arsenal had just the kind of a game they would have wanted and got a comfortable 3-1 win at the end.

Besides I also think that Tottenham should develop new strategies for big games like this. They have done a great job in general so far but they should be much more effective in big games. Because these games are the most important ones for them to prove their strength and fight for the title also. I was expecting to see a more solid team today but I didn't see any until the red card.

I agree completely. Tottenham seems like a great team on paper and usually perform great against the normal teams but when it comes to the big games, they lack the necessary performance. I was also expecting to see a more solid team from them but Arsenal was just better. They moved the ball with such system and discipline, one can expect and foresee the first goal easily. Even though Tottenham did not too bad offensively, they always lack the result in big games. In this match, their main strategy was counter attacks. I don't think that would be the strategy of a big team. I feel like Harry Kane is wasted on this team sometimes. On the other hand, Arsenal plays splendidly. I expect them to be at the top with City.

I just don't like Tottenham's style of play. They are very good in attack against teams like leicester, southampton or fulham but against teams like arsenal or chelsea or teams that attack often you can see during the season that they often "park the bus" at 5-4-1. it's just my opinion

In this match, Arsenal really played amazingly, finally, they could prove that they really deserve to be in the top standing, be a great team that can also fight against and wins from a big club, like Tottenham. Some people including me, once doubted the performance and ability of Arsenal because they only always win from small clubs. but here, they really prove it by providing a very pretty and splendid game. Arsenal didn't only dominate the match but also gave exact offense that couldn't give big chance for Tottenham to counter.

Again, Liverpool couldn't give a full point again, after drawn by Brighton 3:3. Although Liverpool seems like giving an offensive match with so many shots, their defense was also quite weak. So that Brighton, via Trossard had hattrick, could make the match drawn.

Arsenal surprised me (unpleasantly because I was betting on Tottenham win 2-1 and after 1-1 my thoughts were here we go! but lol 3-1 finally) and again single-handedly leads the standings.
Liverpool after 7 games has 10 points and if they don't win in the next game with Arsenal (we are now talking only about victories for Liverpool), then it's time to think about how to get at least into the top 4.

It was reckless to bet on the defeat of the team that shows the best results from the very beginning of the season. With each victory, the morale of Arsenal only increases and other teams are crushed under their pressure. Next time bet on Arsenal to win, even if their opponent is Liverpool.

Chelsea are the favorites to win this forth coming game against crystal Palace for two reasons. First, they have a new coach who will be more than ready to prove himself with new and improved tactics - offense, defense, posessions and players who are in high-spirits. Second, historically, Chelsea has always dominated Crystal Palace in all of its encounters, and in my opinion, history will repeat itself.

Chelsea winning their match today was the highlight of my day. I predicted it based off of historical records of the matches between the two the two teams. I am happy for the team and most especially for Graham Potter. I must admit that I noticed some few lapses here and there but hey there is still room for improvement. This is a good sign for the team and the management going forward. It means, there is hope for the team.

Chelsea's victory against Crystal Palace proves that the new coach is capable of making Chelsea  to be strong against.  I never expected Chelsea to win Crystal Palace.  This is a good win for Chelsea that will pave way for other Victory for Chelsea,  their is hope for Chelsea to improve again.

I am also disappointed with this result. I bet on Tottenham winning but in reality Arsenal can win this game. Conte really has to admit that Arsenal this season is a tough opponent for them. In addition, this victory was also warmly welcomed by Arteta because he was very impressed with the appearance of his team. Arsenal are getting stronger this season I think they deserve to be top of the table with what they achieved in this game. well in this match tottenham also had to lose Emerson in the upcoming match because he was rewarded a red card in the 62nd minute. I second that, Conte really has to rethink his footballing philosophies, he has quality players in his team, for how long will he continue to limit them, he is killing their confidence, take a look at Son for example, a very exciting player that loves to be on the front foot, now limited to getting behind the ball throughout the game and only hoping for a counter attack to show his quality. Arsenal put them to the sword today because they had the confidence, believe and freedom to express themselves on the field; Spurs are definitely not winning the league playing the way they did today, and if they are to adopt this strategy for the long term, they'd prolly start to lose players that hate to be absolutely restricted by their manager.

looking at this table makes my eyes hurt, it's sad to see liverpool so low, with this big difference with the first place it's clear that this season we don't have a chance to win the premier league, we're lost, we don't have good defense, today when the attack it worked, the defense threw everything in the mud and with that we fell further down the table. The question now is if at least we can manage to stay in 4th position, we are really at the bottom of the well, that is, for this season we have no chance of winning anything important like the premier league and champions league

Liverpool's defense was disappointing, this match didn't live up to most people's expectations. I think Klopp was really angry at the performance of his players today, especially in defence. They failed to hold on to the win 10 minutes from time as Brighton managed to steal a point at Anfield.

For a while, Liverpool had to be satisfied with the result of this match even though they had to fight hard to win the match. Nobody expected them to drop points at home as they should have had a chance to secure 3 points. Trossard's superb performance which scored a hat-trick deserves appreciation, he was like a hero today for Brighton.

Liverpool's defensive line was very bad today. Trossard gave a great performance. But the real problem was in Liverpool's defensive line. Especially Trent Alexander-Arnold's performance has decreased in the last matches. He needs to be a little more careful. He must return to his old performance and help his friends to move the team up. It is necessary to open a parenthesis for Mane. His absence is felt in Liverpool. The is one one the problems at Liverpool, some of the first team players are either sidelined for injuries or underperforming due to poor fitness and form, every game Liverpool play they seem to be suffering from fatique I can see it in their body language and the way they have been playing this season, Brighton had the chance to burry the game after leading two nil but gave out the lead to poor defending.

Yep, Arsenal seems serious to compete for the title with Man City. It is a big surprise that Arsenal can beat Tottenham with 3 goals, it simply indicates that Arsenal has good attackers. I agree that there are 2 teams to compete for the title, Man City and Arsenal. As long as Arsenal can maintain their good performance, I am sure the competition for the title will be very tight. It is difficult to predict whether Man City or Arsenal that has a bigger chance to win EPL title.

About Man City vs Man United, I believe Man City is still superior to Man United, they should get full points. Man United current performance seems not enough to beat Man City because Man City has a stronger squad. Moreover, the match will be in Etihad, Man City players must have a special motivation to win at their home.

Liverpool - Brighton was the most unbelievable match of the day.

I mean that it was a big surprise to see Liverpool conceding two goals in the first 17 minutes already. Trent - van Dijk duo were definitely terrible in defense today. Liverpool owe Firmino so much for this match as he scored two lovely goals and helped his team pull themselves together. It was a wonderful comeback to 3-2. However the defensive issues were still going on after that too. Brighton's third goal came by another defensive issue. Trent was so close to make himself forgiven by a free-kick goal but his superb shot hit the goal post I'm afraid. If it ended up with a goal it could have been the winning goal at the same time.

This was definitely a match that Liverpool should have won no matter what. The criticism about them will be even more serious unless Liverpool improve their form in the league as soon as possible. Klopp is a manager who is liked a lot but people are getting really worried about the future of their team now.

I prefer to say that brighton should have won the match though.

They deserve that as they are fight them really hard especially to equal the score at the last 10 minutes of the game , if only they could defend the 2-0 leading at least till the very last minute , too bad they conceded even more and fail. Well played brighton.

This is by far the one game I was amused with today. I never expected Arsenal to win against Tottenham Hotspur but, they once again prove themselves to be more than ready to be in the race for the trophy and that means top 4 and earn there champions league spot.
Arsenal didn't give Tottenham much if a chance. The penalty yo have brought Spurs the consolation goal was poorly committed but a penalty non the less. Saka tried what he could but, G. Jesus had to get the uncontrolled rebounce from Cristian Romero and got his spot on the score sheet. 2 goals lead was a good one.

No man, defensive player was not the main problem for chelsea. So far chelsea was controlling the game. The problem is when people didn't aware with the fact that if chelsea seems very hard to make a goal. I have seen that from so many matches if chelsea needs a good midfielder player. The current player doesn't seem to be a good choice anymore. There must be a new midfielder player that has capability to give assist to the attacker player.
The main problem that is always facing by chelsea in any game is midfielder was not able to send ball to the attacker

I didn't expect Arsenal to be at the top of the leader board after 8 matches with 21 points, this is not just luck for them, they were getting better by the end of last season and they kept getting better and better, to win the premier league is really tough especially with Manchester City being really good, beating Tottenham today is a really good sign that they can.

Defensive problems are still alive at Chelsea.

They have splurged on Fofana just to improve their defending and to have a more credible defense line. However they are still not able to finish a match without conceding any goal. At least they can get ahead of this issue by increasing their scoring success rate. Aubameyang scored also which is good news. Because hopefully he'd start to play more consistently after scoring the goal. They won the match maybe but it was like a last-minute goal at the same time. The issues can be solved in time meanwhile Potter is trying to help his team adapt to his system as fast as possible.

It seems to me that the answer to your question is no. Arsenal still manages to hold the leading position in the standings and wins one by one, sweeping away his opponents. Of course, with some exceptions, as happened in the match against Manchester United. I see a winning attitude in this team, while in Liverpool things are not going so smoothly. However, Liverpool managed to come back with two goals from their striker Firmino and an own goal from Brighton's Adam Webster. It was an entertaining game in all. Brighton isn't a small club. The wiped the likes of Manchester united and has only lost one match since the start of the season. If Liverpool were able to get a draw from them then they had an impressive performance. Brighton were extra impressive with their attack at the start of the match i was thinking Liverpool won't have a chance to defend their stadium but they managed to get a draw.
