Manchester City is still the giant of this season even as the club suffered a defeat to Liverpool and am not surprised by their performance in today's game and if Liverpool uses the winning as a motivation to recover their place in the premier league thos season. And if Manchester City happens to lose any further match the club could also slide into a downtrend for some time.

I as a Liverpool fan am very happy that we managed to be Manchester City and sorry to say but Manchester City is not the giant of this season,they could not win in Copenhagen in Champions League against a much weaker team than they are,then it came the game of tonight which they lost,now Arsenal is a bit more consolidated at the top of the rankings.

Liverpool needed very much this win as it gives them the much needed confidence to continue and to do better in the upcoming games of the Premier League,luckily on Tuesday we have another round of Premier League.

we won, I believe most people didn't expect that we would win this game, but we did and with that we can start winning games and get out of the hole we found ourselves in, and even something very good for liverpool fans who were already tired to lose points, now we are in the 8th position with 13 points, we just have to win the next game against west ham and we will be in the 6th or 7th position and it won't take us long to reach the top, I still have this hope that we can finish in the first to third place

I didn't think Liverpool could win. A lot of things happened in this game that I didn't think about. For example, Haaland failed to score. I thought that he would score goals in such big matches. The fact that there was only 1 goal in the match also caused me to lose in terms of betting. Liverpool won 3 points but it's an important point for a top spot. I didn't think we'd come across a goalless game against City. Still, it was a fun match. This score benefited Arsenal. I feel like all the events this season will benefit Arsenal. Liverpool are in the 8th place with 13 points. I think it will go higher. This win could mark a good comeback.

Probably no one expected Liverpool to win this match. I wouldn't say that Liverpool's performance was too good either. They were very lucky so they won. Especially I want to say that Liverpool team won this match because of the great performance of their defender and goalkeeper Alisson. Alisson's performance in this match was outstanding. He made 6 great saves.

A deserved draw for Manchester United vs Newcastle, and I saw Manchester United not playing well plus Newcastle's defense was quite good and also discipline that made it difficult for Manchester United players to break into their defense.
and what we see is clear that the Manchester United players tried several times to try to get all the Newcastle players to get hooked. But back and tight, good defense for Newcastle.

I saw Ronaldo disappointed when he was substituted for Rashford in the 72nd minute and I also hoped the late goal against Omonia would be repeated, but sadly that has not happened again. And unfortunately Rashford's header at the end of the game in extra time was too wide.

the performance of manchester united midfield was not good for the game earlier, i think newcaslte had better strategic performance in the game. The two teams had good chances but didn't score a goal. almost got a goal by ronaldo but was offside but he's very proud tonight to be awarded the ex-coach award by sir alex ferguson. who has made a record 700 goals during his play in several teams. it's amazing to be a coach ferguson

That has been broken today, we should not underestimate big club that is not performing like before, I mean Liverpool. Liverpool was able to win Manchester City today. Let us see how it goes on, but I believe Manchester City makes more chances for Arsenal to win this season. But we can not yet conclude who would win EPL this season, just because only few matches are yet played out of 38 matches to be played in total. Arsenal was able to win with a goal today and making the margin with Manchester City to increase a little.

Chelsea has lesser shots but still manages to get 2 goals from Aston Villa, and Mason Mount really did a great job, in getting those 2 goals, and the 1st goal was the error of Tyrone Mings from Aston Villa, which led Mason Mount to make that 1st goal, and the 2nd goal was a free kick from Mason Mount on the left side, it was an astonishing goal from him that led the win for Chelsea,

Manchester United FC VS Newcastle United FC GOAL 0 - 0 - DRAW

It was not a good game for both teams, well Manchester United is pretty much dominant on the game stat, but after that Dan Burn's Yellow card and Cristiano Ronaldo's Yellow card as well, then Bruno Fernandez and Casimero both got Yellow cards that make the game even more unlikely for Manchester United to make a slip goal,

Liverpool FC VS Manchester City FC GOAL 1 - 1 - LOST

Now I really don't know what happens to Manchester City they pretty much have all game stats, Erling Halland also is playing but it was a tight window for Manchester City because of the tight defense of Liverpool, then Mohamed Salah happen with the 1st goal for this game, Liverpool has made a great job scoring, then Manuel Akanji got his Yellow card, it was a crucial game that the City doesn't won, it was a stroke of luck, it was not enough rest for Halland,

Statistically, Liverpool has been doing incredibly well in Anfield. I dont think they have ever lose a single game since last season in Anfield yet ( EPL ) so that pretty much tells that there is a good chance that the game might ended in draw although I was quite surprised to actually think they won this. it seems that chelsea has really returned to winning ways, in the last games they have 4 consecutive victories and are doing very well in the champions league, we can say that this coach is doing a good job, chelsea is in the 4th position, apparently this season we will see a great dispute to occupy the first 4 places

as expected from the arsenal, with this victory they are isolated at the top with a 4 point advantage

I was expecting it to be like this because I strongly believe that Liverpool is a strong team as well as Manchester City. Manchester City has been winning his opponents since when this season has started. My friend bet for Manchester City to win the match but I told him that Liverpool would win the match, though I was just predicting because I know that the two teams are strong. And finally my prediction came to pass.

Mohamed Salah really played in the match, Alisson Becker assisted him to score the winning goal. Liverpool got about 3 yellow cards plus 1 red and Manchester City got 1 yellow card and the total number of yellow cards in the match was 4 plus the red from Liverpool. From the above stat you would notice that Liverpool played rough than Manchester City.


Chelsea had used Aston Villa  to shine their eyes. Chelsea got 3 yellow cards straight and still with the game 0:2. It is a plus to them in the season.

Arsenal also got 2 yellow cards and won the match.

Manchester United 0 - 0 Newcastle United
Manchester United thought they would win Newcastle United but irony befall on them. the total yellow cards in the match was 4.

Southampton 1 - 1 West Ham United

West Ham United possessed ball more than Southampton, the match was also interested.

Somehow Manchester City had to suffer their first defeat of the season to Liverpool, this is obviously very disappointing. The high tension of the match made this match very tense and I really saw how the Liverpool fans were so passionate about supporting their favorite team. Manchester City were not without their chances in this match, but they failed to take them and it was luck for Liverpool.

I also saw Haaland threatening the goal a few times, but no goals were scored other than Foden's goal which was disallowed by the referee after looking at VAR. For now Arsenal deserve to have fun because Manchester City dropped points, this has made Arsenal 4 points ahead of Manchester City.

I said before it is either they stand in their foot or be depressed but didn't have much confidence on them to win honestly!
Imagine City actively running behind Arsenal to be tackled by Liverpool which was failing most of the time. The difference now is 4 points between gunners and City and it is getting complicated since Arsenal is hardly missing points!

Liverpool have won today's match against Manchester City. In terms of performance, Manchester City players are superior to Liverpool. The match between Manchester City and Liverpool was great. Both teams have played well. Thanks to Alisson's brilliant skill, Salah was able to score a beautiful goal that gave Liverpool the win. Today there is no trace of that skill of Haaland. This is because he could not arrange the ball to his advantage. In fact, not everyone can be Lionel Messi and will not be able to.

If not that Klopp aggressively protested against the assistant referee Gary Beswick's decision and got a red card Liverpool would have been well managed to get their second goal. Gomez, Virgil were excellent at their defensive duties. Virgil saved Liverpool from Haaland's equalising goal.

Darwin Nunez should be cautioned because he wasted two golden opportunities that should have earned them more goals in the match. Overall at Anfield i will say Liverpool weren't below average Klopp has mastered Pep's tactics that the reason he swapped Sallah's position and got the lead goal. But i believed if he managed the team till the end Nunez wouldn't have repeated the same selfish game twice

The result of the match was completely unexpected, Liverpool who were not favorites at all turned out to be able to give Manchester City the first defeat, today match was quite tough and hard but Liverpool were still able to maintain the awesomeness of Anfield today and made Manchester City go home embarrassed.

Here I am not agreed with you about this statement this was no unexpected because Liverpool is still one of the best club in Europe, and they were on bad streak but surely now with this result things could be positive for them, and they could be at the better spot in coming weeks right now we end ten round of this season and many ups and downs still to come for many clubs which is surely going to be routine business, so we can expect better spot for Liverpool.

Haaland which is currently top scorer in Premier League in this season fail to break Liverpool defence which was the biggest success for them and surely now they can feel good because this is going to be turning point for them in this season and their change of fortune.

I really do not know what it is about Anfield, but anytime City go there to play, you can just sense that they are going to struggle and that they might lose, and that was the case for the umpteenth time today, i mean, City came into this game the team with the stronger momentum, definitely higher up the table than their hosts, and with a striker that is brimming in confidence, you could just think this was the perfect time for City to really hit Liverpool hard in front of their crowd, but just as the game started and began to move, it became anyone's game.

Having said that, Cancelo was pretty bad today, unlike him, he was culpable for the goal and a couple other opportunites he gave away to Liverpool, i thought Pep would have just stuck with his normal formation, but he chose a back three today, not that it worked too badly against him, but maybe the players would have had more freedom playing the way they have been doing all season. Arsenal can smile really well now, they are four points clear at the top of the table, they are forcing everyone to believe in their title credentials, and i'm afraid i do believe in it.

After watching this midweek champions League games, and watching how Liverpool perform against a team like Rangers in an away game in Scotland, I sense danger and Salah quick hattrick after coming on in the second makes me think maybe this will do his confirm a lot of good and today you can see how different Liverpool look against a team like Manchester City level, Jürgen klopp has really understand how to play against pep Guadiola team, haaland was isolated then the midfield was not Manchester city strength.

Even me myself never expected Liverpool to win the match today but still didn’t expect Manchester City to win easily. The match was just so unpredictable because both teams showed expertise in their last matches. I was expecting a draw or Liverpool to lose with one goal difference to Manchester City. After today's match, Manchester City are 4 points below Arsenal. This has create more hopes for Arsenal to continue topping the table and battle for the league champions.

Liverpool really surprised nearly all of us. I was also expecting Manchester City to win in Anfield considering the current situation of Liverpool defense. But they really changed roles with Manchester City in this match. Manchester City gave big openings to Liverpool players in defense. I mean especially to Salah. He found so many goal opportunities and finally benefited from one of them thanks to Cancelo's big mistake. In the last minutes Liverpool could have made it 2-0 also but Nunez was so selfish not to pass the ball to one of the two players who were free to score easily.

Haaland also could have scored actually as he found a couple of big chances. But Alisson was really great with his saves. Especially one of them was really difficult but he was still successful. Congrats to Liverpool on their very important win.
