Finally a game Liverpool fans can be proud of. We did really well for the majority of the game and we deserved both the win and the clean sheet.
I think Guardiola made the mistake starting with 3 at the back, when they switched to a back 4 in the 2nd half they were much more dangerous. But so were we though.

A win in the derby is nice, but it took us only to the 8th spot in the league. What we need now is consistency.

This match should be a symbol for the other teams that Manchester City is not a strong threat to them and this shows that Liverpool's strength is better because they have great teamwork that with good coordination they managed to beat Manchester City easily.

In football, there are often surprises, but Liverpool's victory was more than just a surprise. Man City are definitely targeting 3 points, but Liverpool can turn out to be a stumbling block for them and Liverpool is the first team to beat Man City this season. Even though the match was dominated by Man City but I think this is one of Liverpool's best defensive performances this season.

I must say Liverpool is really really really lucky to beat Manchester City, there's many shoots on target from Haaland but it doesn't make any goal. Although Salah is the one who score a goal for Liverpool, but the real MVP is Becker since he can save every shoots from Haaland. I don't know if it's a good strategy to put Salah on center forward position, it just make Nunez doesn't really important since he can't replace Mane.

Firmino also being forced to play on central attacking midfielder while he was a pure striker, Liverpool should sign a player who really experienced on that position ASAP.

Liverpool is Manchester city worst nightmare with very good in breaking their unbeaten record almost each season. Pep Guardiola can't beat Jurgen Klopp this season with good game strategy from the both managers. City tough striker, Erling Haaland failed to net the post and even couldn't contributes to any goal in the game. They were down by 1 nil in the second half with incredible actions from the home team which gave them solid winning. Darwin Nunez was the perfect man to make it 2 nil for the reds but he failed to either score or give an assist. He was greedy in the game as he wanted to proof that he's more valuable than Haaland.

Liverpool had their chances and took it with confident while city couldn't converts their chances to goal. The red players were very active in the game and didn't give room for fatigue. All of them were serious especially their defend lines, Virgil and Gomez who hold down both Fosen and Haaland.  Amazing results from Liverpool at anfield and city will put more efforts in their next game. Consistency is the only option for Liverpool players and i believe they will have a smooth run up for top four.

No one underestimated Liverpool while playing, while many doubted Liverpool for some time was a form of disappointment with what Liverpool showed. Of course Liverpool are one of the best teams in the Premier League, but lately their performances have declined so much that it has an impact on the confidence of most people in them. I hope this win will be a turning point for their next match to be even better.

I don't understand why you think the Newcastle team is weak. Have you not seen the performance of Newcastle this season? Newcastle has lost just one of their 10 matches this season. On the other hand, Manchester United has been defeated in 3 matches. Newcastle's performance is very stable in this match.

Manchester United's performance has been poor since the start of the season. I would say United has managed to stabilize itself compared to the earlier matches of the season. Against Newcastle, they had several attacks. But due to the good performance of Newcastle's defenders, United could not score any goals. All in all, I would say that the match was quite enjoyable.

It is impossible for a Premier League football fan to not know the weak team and which team is strong when the competition has been completed by matchday 10 and 9 for some teams. 
Newcastle United this season have become a more stable team compared to last season. The draw yesterday made them stay in sixth position.

I personally expected Manchester City to win. But Liverpool put in a great performance, their attacks were worth watching. However, Manchester City tried hard but failed to finish well. Alisson brilliantly assisted Salah and scored a superb goal to give Liverpool the win.

Arsenal vs Man City has been postponed indefinitely due to Arsenal Europa league rescheduled match on Thursday therefore Man City wouldn't play in midweek matches, with reference to Arsenal match against Leeds Utd yesterday it was a narrow escape for the gunners because Leeds Utd are usually hard to beat at Elland Road at their home ground, it's a difficult terrain for away teams they had not lost any match home this season except yesterday match, so far played 2 draws, 2 wins at home, they are the better team in the second half immediately when Bamford was introduced into the match unfortunately very unlucky to win that match having missed some scoring chances.

The controversy about VAR is clearly one that is quite unfortunate and indeed with this even Pep also commented on the referee's decision because he felt disadvantaged in this match, but this is over and indeed they have to admit City's advantage in this meeting.

I expected a better performance from Arsenal. Their opponents are comparatively far behind in terms of performance. But against Arsenal they did very well, they reacted very well but failed to score. But luckily Arsenal managed to score a goal.

I personally don't see this.
Manchester City is a very big threat for all teams in the EPL and the possibility for them to bring the trophy for the third time is clearly still big.
The reason they lost this match was because they were a little unlucky I think because their performance was still very good and of course it would be very naive to say Manchester City is not a big threat just because of a narrow defeat by one goal and their first defeat in the Premier League.

Luckily they can still win in this match even though they should be able to play better than what they did in this match. They are still haunted by the imbalance from one game to another. Manchester United disappointed their fans a lot as well. I was waiting for them to win even if they had a big difficulty in doing so. Because Newcastle were one of the toughest opponents of the season for them. There wasn't a big gap between them in the standings.

However I still trusted Manchester United to get another win after the win over Everton. They had really crucial opportunities in the game especially in the last minutes. But they wasted both of them which caused the game to end in a draw by 0-0. The team still can't find their rhythm in the league fully.

I was not for once angry over the kind of players used especially with the Introduction of Fred in midfied to replace Erikson, he didn't link up well with Bruno Fernandez and also with all other attacking players and winger's. After the first half, Erik Ten Hag should have substituted the Brazilian for me though and could have even brought in one of those youngins.

Now getting to the second half of the match, Ten Hag made a wrong substitution, by bringing Rashford on for Cristiano Ronaldo, if you look at the game Sancho wasn't really part of it as he should have been substituted, and since Ronaldo served as a number, that through Ball from Rashford to Fread would have been converted if it was Ronaldo. Fans where expectant of a goal but that didn't come as planned. Don't you think they will either loss to Tottenham Hotspur or end up playing full time draw with the score been leveled.

They need van Dijk to continue playing strong from now on as he is the mainstay of the defense line. Maybe it is too difficult for them to enter the title race but they don't have anything to lose now. They must push hard after this critical win.
