Not at all a worthy opponent of Manchester United because the game of Marcus Rashford and friends who entered the starting eleven played well including those who came off the bench were able to score goals. I agree with you totally that maintaining 5-point gap is so important for Manchester City. It does not mean they will lose the trophy to Arsenal if the gap becomes 8 points with same total matches.

Manchester had a good game against Nottingham Forest, which was very much expected of them. I don't think the schedule for Manchester United changed. They are meant to play against Wolverhampton on the 31st been Saturday, then proceed to play Bournemouth on the 4th of Jan. There's no surprise about this Manchester United win, it was a win they deserved. Manchester United's players are superior if compare Nottingham Forest, and it will be very embarrassing if Manchester United loses points. Leeds definitely need to win this game so that it can boost their confidence for the upcoming Premier League games. They’ve been having a run of poor results and today doesn’t look different. Honestly they won’t have an easy job facing Manchester city who will have in Haaland their biggest menace.
