Brentford look like they are pretty good even without Toney. Liverpool defense is alarming, how did they leave Wissa alone in the box? They should've man marked from the start, every cross was a threat.
I don't think Liverpool can make a comeback here unless they find an early goal in second half. Brentford is controlling the game. Two changes from defense and Naby Keita to the midfield, I don't know how that would impact the game.

The game will be very interesting, we all saw how Brentford played in their last game. I am not sure Liverpool will see Brentford easy to win, I think this game can end up in draws because of how Brentford plays . Brentford is becoming tough now, if Liverpool plays well they can succeed in winning.

Brentford can be sturbbon but Liverpool are very tactical with their attacks. Liverpool has won their last 4 matches which is enough to keep them motivated to win their fifth game in a row. Klopp has done a nice job moving from the middle of the table and now they are finding their way to the top. Liverpool will get a comfortable 2-0 victory here.

Honestly seeing how Liverpool played against Leicester and got both goals from own goals by Leicester defender, I could easily say that their defense and their offense is still a trouble. Their midfield is not that bad, I enjoy the midfield and they are trying their best, and their wings still look to be decent enough as well so there is no problems there.

However, if we are talking about centre backs and their striker positions they are still lacking a lot. Not only they do not have Mane anymore but they do not have Diaz neither which causes a bit problems and Salah hasn't been his usual self this year too and VVD is not that great neither. All these combined, maybe Brentford could win?

But you have to look at the score right now, I mean Brentford 2 - 0 Liverpool in the first half.

The game is really exciting. Who would have guessed Brentford would play against Liverpool and win 2 goals to nil in the first half… Second half is getting more exciting as Liverpools goal being disallowed due to an offside. That didn’t deter them as they went ahead, pressed on and scored a goal again making the scores 2:1 in favor of Brentford. I certainly didn’t see this coming, but it’s a good game.

If only they could now hold their lead over Liverpool and perhaps strive to add another goal to have a somewhat comfortable lead over Liverpool. This may very well turn out to be a game where the underdogs would surprise everyone and perhaps, even themselves and come out on top to win the game.

To be honest, this is a little difficult in my opinion with Brentford who always defends and takes advantage of counterattacks and the condition of Liverpool's attack line is still not improving.
I actually hope Liverpool win but I'm still not sure for now.

Don't worry, Liverpool can still be revived although they are 2 scores behind and now in second half Liverpool can make a score. But this is crazy why Brentford this team always made a surprises? Liverpool must be very careful with Brentford, also surely other clubs maybe attention to Brentford performance so far, hopefully before the 80th minute Liverpool can make a second score.

The game is really exciting. I'm sure it's 2-2 or a draw, but let's see if we actually get caught by Brentford's counter-attack.

If only they could now hold their lead over Liverpool and perhaps strive to add another goal to have a somewhat comfortable lead over Liverpool. This may very well turn out to be a game where the underdogs would surprise everyone and perhaps, even themselves and come out on top to win the game.

Until 70 minutes, I wasn't entirely sure Brentford would be able to keep their win, but if Liverpool's players waste too many chances then they will have to pay for it with defeat.

Liverpool are indeed superior in terms of ball possession but seeing the opportunities and goals created by Brentford are of course very good with a defensive strategy and taking advantage of counterattacks.
Liverpool need to change the scheme now with their conditions like this. It has been seen that Liverpool are always late to return to their posts when Brentford counterattacks quickly and in the second half later this must be corrected by Klopp.

Hoping Liverpool could level the score but what happened was Brentford added another goal and it was 3-1 and the goal came from Mbeumo in the 84th minute. And it looks like Liverpool's defense is very weak compared to Brentford's defense which is quite good and stacked in the penalty box area in securing the net.
Brentford played very well especially when he had chances to counterattack, and Liverpool's hopes of getting full points and overtaking Tottenham were not fulfilled.

Perfect, Brentford managed to party at home today with a final score of 3-1 in Liverpool's defeat. I knew Brentford will be a problem to Liverpool because have been seeing the energy they exhibit in their games. They succeeded in defeating Liverpool that has been trying  to be back  stable. The English premier league is getting interesting,  teams are getting stronger to challenge big teams.

I didn't know Liverpool was playing not until the 90th minute when I got a notification in by score about the scores. I was heavily disappointed. My disappointment wasn't that I don't expect it, but not against Liverpool.

Brentford team is really making great matches, after beating man city now the turn come to Liverpool, after the first Liverpool goal i expected that they will turn the table and at least get 1 point but Brentford managed the match perfectly and was able to score the third goal in the last 10 minutes, Liverpool team is really not in their best days

I must admit that I'm not surprised with Liverpool getting a bad result today. Because many of us must have understood the situation by their performance against Leicester before this game. Maybe they weren't even going to turn the game around and win there but Leicester defender Wout Faes was a big help for them. Liverpool were already not in good condition and I was expecting to see some weaknesses against Brentford also. Because Brentford were in a much better shape than Leicester in the end.

We have all seen what Brentford did against Manchester City and Tottenham recently also. Just the thing happened and this time they beat Liverpool. I'm losing my faith in Liverpool to recover in the remaining time of the season honestly. Unless they bring a solid midfielder in this transfer window it will be a really difficult time period.

It's true that it's difficult to predict and Brentford was able to win again with a big team, but indeed Liverpool's attack was much better in the second half but still, that didn't mean they had a good chance even though they tried several times but damn it was Brentford's strong defense and that's a defense which is great.

On the other hand, Liverpool was too focused on building attacks but forgot that the defense was not tightened and as a result, it was the counterattack from Brentford that scored another goal, while Liverpool's defense was a little overwhelmed to face one person.

Another nightmare for Liverpool to chase points far above it.
