For a weekday, great match we've watched. Manchester City scored a single goal but they won away. Player changes gave good results. Mahrez scored 3 minutes after entering the game. Manchester City reduced the score difference to five. Now the league will be much more contentious. Arsenal is still ahead and advantageous, but the Manchester City from behind poses a major threat. I was expecting City to win this match, it was obvious that they would win, albeit difficult. It would be bad for them to lose two weeks in a row. Pep prepared the team well for the match.

Pretty big win for Man City as expected and this is really important because Arsenal dropped some pretty much important points yesterday. With this wins this gives them big confidence to fight for the title. While Chelsea is in deep trouble with yet again dropping points.

I think there is nothing to be happy about for Chelsea supporters. The result is the most important thing and they lost the game unfortunately. They were really effective especially in the first half. I believe Manchester City weren't expecting what was coming for them so they struggled against them for a while. Chelsea should have been able to take advantage of this but they couldn't score.

After failing in doing so for a long time Manchester City punished them by a classical goal of them. We saw another 1-0 victory in Stamford Bridge by Manchester City. This was important for them after drawing with Everton.

That was clearly the tactical implementation they required. Manchester City's coach knew exactly what impact those two substitutes would have on the attacking line, and he brought them in at the right time. They altered the game, resulting in a victory for their team, and their work was completed. They won the game by defending the game well until the end.

The match was over, and in the end manchester city managed to secure 3 points today. They did well the whole game, but Chelsea are the same. It's just that Chelsea failed to capitalize on some good chances to score, it's looking bad for them who have only won 7 games out of 17 so far. Somehow in the end, Chelsea still have to get up and try their best because they are one of the teams that are expected to be able to compete at the top.

Today Sterling and Pulisic had problems, they looked like they had to go off injured and couldn't continue. Really it was a loss for Chelsea but the substitutes were impressive.

If this gets worse then Chelsea will find it even more difficult, especially since their forward players have an important role now.
Let's hope Pulisic and Sterling are not too bad in terms of condition because it is very dangerous if it becomes a serious injury.
On the other hand, I actually still appreciate Chelsea's game in this match, but it's a shame they have to drop points again after previously playing a draw even though for the first game after the break they performed quite well.

Unfortunately, in the Chelsea match against Manchester City, which was won by Manchester City, Riyad Mahrez was lucky to score a goal and maintain Manchester City's position until the end of the match, giving the victory to Manchester City. Pep knew what they had to do in the second half and changing their two defenders at the start of the second half was the right decision I think.
On the other hand their dominance in possession and chances were increased again in the second half and the result was not bad. goals from Mahrez were the only ones that were created in this match but indeed even though they closed the distance with Arsenal they still couldn't relax especially since their points were still 5 points away.

If Chelsea should continue this way then they should say bye bye to top 4,  currently on 25 points maybe a draw would have be ok, but loosing a game like this in this critical time might prove so costly later in the campaign. Manchester city just have a way of grinding out results from games like this and it's a great one. So they now close the gap between them and Arsenal who dropped points some days ago against Newcastle, if Chelsea are expecting anything possible our of this campaign then they have to buckle up fast.

Even though Chelsea lost against Manchester City, its fans will be happy with the way the team played. In comparison to their previous games, Chelsea performed far better. Chelsea fought hard against Manchester City, but their luck ran out when it came to scoring.

It is funny if Chelsea fans are happy. Today, Chelsea was defeated by Man City. While in the previous match, they got a draw. Chelsea got 0 points today, but they got 1 point previously. The previous match is still better than today's match, right? Well, I believe Chelsea fans don't care about how Chelsea players played, the focus is on the points. With getting 0 points, Chelsea is in 10th place now. It is a shame, how can a big team like Chelsea stay in 10th place in EPL standings? Ideally, Chelsea should be in the top 5.

Their game was still very losing even though in this match they lost by 1 goal, but they still couldn't improve their performance. Now they have been knocked down to 10th place in the standings what should they be happy about because this is a bad thing.

Happy based on performance not about losing the match to Manchester City. That's what I meant.

If Chelsea had been performing like this, they won't have lost or drawn some of their matches the way they did. Their 10th position is not encouraging at all but let's not forget that some of their best players are on the injury.

Sincerely what Chelsea needs badly is a striker that can help do the scoring.

Chelsea probably expects at least to have a drawn match that is why they seem to be defensive in this match. Because Chelsea may have realized that their strength, especially their attack line, was far below Man City, so they could hold off to a draw as best they could, but it didn't work. But, this will not work for a club like Man City. Although Man City was quite difficult to score even with many efforts, at least, they could make it once by Mahrez. Unfortunately in this match, Haaland did not score a goal.

Again, Chelsea did not get points and luck in the match against Manchester City, this was a very bad thing for Chelsea because the team had to lose in front of their own fans and kept Manchester City on the competitive path with Arsenal because the points gap had begun to be trimmed again. I think Chelsea is really not having a good performance this season and it is likely that the Chelsea team will also be more easily beaten by their opponents in the Champions League this season.

Arsenal was perfectly fine with that 1 point against Newcastle and as you said, why would they risk during the later phase of the game to actually throw away that 1 point and go all in? They played it the right and the smart way in this case. Haven't lost a game in a long time, tie against their strongest contenders and keep the distance more or less (except for Manchester City who made up for 2 points, but still).

Losing such a key game can also end up in more than just losing two or three points. It can take away momentum and also decrease the positive sentiment within the team and mean a hit to the overall strong moral. This way they are still ok and in the back of their head they also know that Manchester City loses points here and there over and over again this season.

The Fans are happy because only lost 1 different goal, in fact, the fans don't have much hope for this match because many predict out there Chelsea will lose at least 2-3 goals because from the Manchester City squad, Haaland is currently on fire. But even lost Chelsea shows us they don't just give up the winning, their defender is good to block bait from the center. When I look this, I just miss Tuchel, this guy know how to counter-attack if Chelsea get that kind of pressure like that, maybe win or at least draw.

The second half was a total different experience in the game, Manchester City returned better and stronger they tried to gain control of the game and reduced the pressure chelsea was throwing at them. Not the best performance for Manchester city but the important thing is that they were able to get a win from the game. Chelsea tried to get a comeback but weren't able to work something out and get that last finishing touch to get the ball behind the net.
