Never thought that Arsenal's position would be taken over by any team including City, but last night's big game finally really put Arsenal down, even though Arsenal still have 1 game yet to play but it's not easy for them to be able to take over City's position because of their struggle the more severe, the defeat to Everton and also the draw against Brentford was the key to why Arsenal could finally drop to second place. Arteta must be able to make his squad win all the remaining matches if they don't want their chances to shrink.

Arsenal had 64% of the ball. Even then they conceded 3 goals. This is due to the poor performance of the defenders. Even after the first half ended 1-1, I thought the match would be a draw. Because both teams were attacking after keeping their defence strong. Arsenal conceded two goals in the second half due to some defensive errors. And they can't get back in the truck. They lost the match by 3-1. Arsenal and Manchester City are now levels on points in the points table. However, Manchester City has 51 points from 23 matches, and Arsenal has 51 points from 22 matches. Even so, I would say that it has become very difficult for Arsenal to hold onto the top spot in the table now.

losing 3-1 is really bad for arsenal.  even though Arsenal have only made 22 matches while Man City has 23 away, if Arsenal keeps playing like yesterday then i doubt they will be able to take back the top position.



arsenal will face man city again in April.  even i'm not an arsenal fan but i can hope they won the epl this season, arsenal should be able to rearrange their plans because, to be honest arsenal's current defense is in chaos.

Haaland scored goal again for Manchester City that is meaningful for them in Premier League and more important for them in Champions League. The season is going to final decisive months and Manchester City need best version of Haaland to win titles.

Before the goal of Grealish, Garbriel made a stupid foul against Haaland and the referee even gave a penalty to Manchester City. Luckily for Arsenal when VAR rejected that penalty because Haaland was offside.

If not for the penalty that managed to give Arsenal 1 goal, I don't think they would have been able to get any goal in their match against Manchester City. is becoming clear to me that Arsenal cannot win this season. At least Arsenal have tried hard to be able to provide a difficult resistance, and Arsenal managed to draw against Manchester City at half time with a score of 1-1. Also, the statistics show that Arsenal can still control the game but unfortunately, because Manchester City is also playing well, Arsenal don't have a good enough chance to score a goal.

So yes, basically the result of a win for Manchester City was predictable too, because the trends of the two teams at that moment were indeed quite different even though they were ranked at the top of the English Premier League standings.

After a long time at the top of the English league, Arsenal finally had to give up first place for Manchester City, the defeat of Everton was the beginning of the destruction of Arsenal, which continued to fail to win 3 points and now it seems that Arsenal chances of winning the English league are getting smaller at this time, even though Arsenal actually have 1 fewer games than manchester city but arsenal still has 1 more game against manchester city which is most likely arsenal will again lose points in that match, so far arteta has not been able to beat manchester city in his entire career and I think manchester city will be a nightmare for arsenal in the title race this season.

How can you think that when this same Arsenal team were in a comfortable position last season to finish in the top 4 position to secure them a slot at champions league football while having few outstanding games but they threw that chance away. Arsenal has also lead the table for other seasons and still not lift the trophy. Arsenal doesn't have a squad depth of a team wanting to win the premier league and the players they settle for are Chelsea rejects. Who signs a player like jorginho if he want to attack when all he does is slow down the pace of games.

Arsenal lost today came from one defensive error that lead to that Kevin De Bruyne goal that was a beauty to watch although arsenal were no match for Manchester city from the start of the game. After that Debruyne goal I knew the game was Manchester city's for the taken as the likes of Haaland was yet to score and he does that effortlessly in small games like this. Haaland only ghost against big sides like Manchester united, Chelsea etc.

Anything can happen in EPL. I reminds you that if this is EPL where so many competitive clubs were competing one to each other. City has been playing so well by defeating arsenal. We never know what would happen before this season ends, Manchester City is now the topmost in the premium league table, that is true, but with the same point as Arsenal, though Manchester City use to score more goals than Arsenal. I do not like Arsenal for one thing which I do talk about on this forum, that the club is on and off, they will perform good sometimes and late just go bad, but Arsenal is still better this season, it is still one of the potential rival of Manchester City and I do not think we yet know who would win the league this season yet. Extremely disappointed with the team's performance against Manchester City. Despite showing promise in the first half, Arteta's team was unable to continue this momentum. Due to its defenders' apparent disregard for their responsibilities, Arsenal allowed three goals. The team needs to play better defense and attack with more caution, IMO. Despite having a higher percentage of ball possession (64%), Arsenal did not automatically win. Arsenal should have put out as much effort as MC, who played like a team that was desperate to win the championship. It will be challenging for Arsenal to keep first place in the standings now that both teams have the same number of points. I still have faith that the team will bounce back and get better, though. To correct their shortcomings, they only need to learn from their mistakes.

The last games have seen Arsenal going from bad to worse regarding their results and this lost game will have a huge psychological impact in their players and as such it is critical that Arsenal starts to get their form back again starting directly from their weekend game,if they can win it and the game that they have less then there is no reason for them to worry,the psychological pressure will be on Manchester City side this time.

The absence of injured Thomas Partey in Arsenal squad was really felt Jorginho who replaced him wasn't effective in their midfield because he wasn't attack minded and not pushing the ball forward, Nketiah too had two great opportunities to head the ball but missed was off target, a quality striker shouldn't miss these kind of clear cut chances when playing tough opposition like Man City, though Arsenal had most possessions but few scoring chances however the experienced Man City won the match, however I don't believe Arsenal title aspiration is over there are plenty matches to go and two clubs will slug it out till the last day of the league.
