this week's match really gave birth to a lot of surprises back in the premier league. And the most surprising thing was Man City who were held to a draw by Nottingham Forest. Because with so many opportunities created by Man City players.

Even though Man City had just been in top standing after beating Arsenal very well, unfortunately they failed to take advantage of the opportunity to win against Nottm Forest. This is really surprising. especially if you look at the match statistics, this is really sad because Man City put a lot of pressure and attacks on them, but were only able to draw by scoring just 1 goal. Nottm Forest may have a pretty good defense, but I don't think it's that strong. Meanwhile, Man City has a very strong line of attack. This is really not as expected. And finally they easily fell again to the second rank.

The Man City players got many golden opportunities, even right in front of the Nottingham forest goal. But all of them failed to turn into a goal. the Man city players look too hasty in shooting accuracy. so that the opportunity to shoot from in front of the goal can even miss so far. and several hard kicks from the Man city players even only hit the Nottingham forest crossbar. so I think in this match the biggest factor that allowed Nottingham to draw against Man City was because they had high luck.

How is it possible, How Guardiola missed another game?

It is possible due to several reasons like; Small teams usually have personal targets and challenge themselves to perform well against the bigger teams. Nottingham forest played really well to be able to get a draw because of the benefits they know they stand to gain from club sponsorship for getting a draw against the reigning champions in the league. It is possible due to home advantage as well, it is also possible that Manchester City may have underestimated Nottingham forest and expected an easy win.

Well , you cannot say that nottingham forest was luck to have conceded 1 goal only out of 23 shots and fully control the whole game .. they are just successfully defend against manchester city torture and equalize the score at the last 10 minutes of the game.

while manchester city fails to convert those multiple shots into some more goals, the 1st spot now taken back by arsenal.

Man City did the tough part and beat Arsenal in Emirates Stadium, but they failed against Nottingham, even if Nottingham did good in defense, Man City had to be better considering how much they really needed that win and the 3 points, this is a loss for man city and they have to not miss points like this.

Manchester United are going to have a home game against Leicester tomorrow. I see a decent win for the Red Devils at the end despite their not being able to beat Leicester in Old Trafford in their last two meets. This season things are going on really good for the Red Devils. Erik ten Hag has improved his chemistry with the team a lot and they are even in the title race technically.

They need to keep winning to be able to maintain the same point gap with Arsenal at least. Leicester have a really good morale after the huge 4-1 win over Tottenham. But I think they won't be able to steal any point from Manchester United here.

Manchester United vs Leicester City, it probably might be a decent win for Manchester United but, its not going to be one that would come easily. Leicester City seems to have picked up form lately, they've had there rhythm going at there games and Kelechi Iheanacho has been superb. Clearly having his best time right now and so is M. Rashford and the determination of Bruno Fernández for Manchester United to make tomorrow so watch.

Can Chelsea be any less disappointing?
They've clearly got what they need and what it takes to have a turn around towards winning ways but, they don't seem to be coming any close. It ain't looking like a matter of hard luck anymore but, the tactics of G. Potter isn't just good enough for a big team. He doesn't seem to know what to do or how to manage a big team like Chelsea.

This has been an issue for Manchester City quite often this season. They are just not making use of their opportunities very well. It was 23:4 shots for Manchester City and 74% possession, nothing unusual so far, but they are missing too many chances. Usually Guardiola's teams have always been very strong in using their chances. Not the case this season so far and that is what helps Arsenal a lot. But Arsenal was quite lucky in the end even though it wasn't undeserved. The shot that was deflected into the own goal by Martinez in the 93rd minute also doesn't happen every week. I get the rule that if you touch the ball and change the direction of it, then it is said to be an own goal, but this goal doesn't really look like a classic own goal. Anyway, that win was important for Arsenal as a fourth game in a row without a win would have been a first crisis. Now it will be a difficult game against Leicester City as they have been stronger recently again.

Liverpool has get important winning from Newcastle that finally Nunez can scored goal again and during this season only Liverpool who can able to beat Newcastle twice and besides that i have been notice Alisson Becker has outstanding performance because at least he has blocked 3 shots attempts from Newcastle players and Liverpool currently at 8th with 6 points difference with 4th places Newcastle
But there is a bad news for Liverpool fans that apparently Nunez had a problem with his shoulder and first speculation is he will be missed the match against Real Madrid on champion league

What a bad day for chelsea

1. Lose points against soton
2. Lose azpi due to the serious injury
3. Lose its reputation as a team who has been spending so much money for nothing

Todd and potter were clowns. These clowns could not even know how to spend money correctly. It's very sad to say that since chelsea was acquired by todd and this club has become mediocre club. So many players, no win, and no goals. What a garbage team.

There must be a petition from chelsea fans to press todd sack potter. Chelsea's future is in the todd's hand.

It is becoming clearer that Graham Potter does not have the experience to handle a big club like Chelsea FC. The the new signings are  supposed to be giving positive results but up till now the team has only managed 2 points in 3 games which is very poor especially with the amount of money invested in the January window. If Roman Abramovich was still the owner, Potter would be out the door by now.

I saw that. WTF was wrong with this coach. Azpi's position has been changed since potter's era. This is my first time to see that. The incident that happened with azpilicueta has been touching my heart. That incident may trigger ban for overhead kick.
I just wanna know what's the condition of azpilicueta. that's very sad to see that his head got kicked. Sarri's era is far better than this one. The potter era has become the end of chelsea.

Azpilicueta's condition was critical, if you saw the game you probably noticed how long it took the medical team to get him to stable condition before he was been moved from the pitch. I pray that he is okay though. For Potter, I think every week draws Potter's exit from Chelsea closer, he didn’t meet one tenth of the expectations we had. After making expensive signings in the transfer window, Chelsea are still struggling to win games in both the premier league and champions league, I am just curious about who will be replacing Potter when he finally gets sacked, which is bound to happen soon.

Arsenal are still in the title race. This win will boost their morale because they really fought hard for this and they deserve it.

So far the squad was found the performance and look solid in the previous match, because never lose on the last 7 matches. Maybe still not perfect, but with underperformance opponents like city and arsenal, MU still has a chance even a bit to beat both positions. The current line up might the best so far because Liverpool able to win, both Gakpo and Nunez seems able to work together and know their jobdesk.

The odds is so damn low even though Leicester able to beat Aston Villa and Tottenham for scoring 4 goals, I think I would bet Leicester City because it's not worth to bet Manchester United.

I stopped watching the match when there was a red card because I thought it was the end for Newcastle already and I thought it would be easier for Liverpool to score more goals. In fact Liverpool failed to maximize the big advantage of the red card to score more goals.

Many people predicted for Manchester city to defeat Tottenham forest, because they were leading the match in the first half that made Nottingham forest coach to make some changes in the second half that gave Nottingham forest a good opportunity to scored at 84 minutes to equalized the goal 1-1.  I think, Manchester city coach need to work on their midfield before their next match because they didn't hold the midfield very well like the way they hold All their position last match to defeated Arsenal. Liverpool really performed well in this match to defeated their opponent 2-0 to improve their points in the premier league competition.

Im aware about that too. That's why there was 12 minutes as additional time. The headkick that already gone to his head was so strong. Azpi was going to the hospital and he has got back his awareness. That acrobatic shots shall not be allowed anymore. it's very scary to see a strong shot was landing to azpi's head.

I can't believe I missed the match between Aston Villa and Arsenal. I only watched the highlights and a few minutes of the replay, and I feel bad for not watching it live. Every goal was better than the last, and Arsenal almost fell into the trap set by Aston Villa. However, they managed to turn things around and ended up winning 4-2 and stay in in lead of Premier League. The match was full of excitement until the very last minutes.

I think this was the most entertaining match I have watched so far this season. The game was entertaining from the first minute to the last. Arsenal showed their strength in this game but I wasn't surprised about that since Arsenal should be winning Aston villa. Aston villa didnylose this game because they were playing badly but it was due to the brilliance in the arsenal team.

The goal by Saka and that of jorginho was my best, the two goals came unexpectedly from outside the penalty box. And the come back from arsenal made the game more entertaining to watch. I didn't want to watch the game at first because I was thinking the game will be won easily by arsenal but Aston villa showed why the premier league is the best among other leagues.

A dramatic comeback when beating Aston Villa 4-2 brought Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League standings. Arsenal success in moving up one rank could not be separated from the draw that Manchester City won at home to Nottingham Forest. Arsenal had left twice before locking in victory, an additional two goals in injury time proved Arsenal players were very motivated to win after being able to add only one point in the last three matches.
Aston Villa defeat in this match was not that they played badly, the efforts made by Aston Villa players managed to make it difficult for Arsenal players. There was good news and there was bad news at last night's game.

The first came from Stamford bridge, the host Chelsea lost again against Southampton who are the occupants of the relegation zone this season. The second came from St James' Park which is home to Newcastle, which surprisingly lost against Liverpool. In this match I did not really expect that Liverpool could beat Newcastle away from home. However, this victory also motivated the players to continue the winning trend. The return of Nunez and Gakpo, who each contributed a goal to the Reds' victory, allowed them to silence their critics a little.

There are several conditions where the strategy is very important.
Liverpool's condition at the start of the match was slightly different because Newcastle were trying to keep up with Liverpool's game but after they were outnumbered in terms of players, they were indeed more defensive.
But that doesn't rule out the fact that Liverpool are still having a bit of trouble even though there are good things because Nunez and Gakpo are now starting to score goals again.
At least it's a good thing for them but it's definitely still not very good for Newcastle in the current condition.

Yesterday matches was full of surprises, Arsenal securing a late winner when I’ve thought that they will only draw, Liverpool scoring two goals before Newcastle got a red card and could score anymore goal against two men Newcastle, Manchester city missed chances and ended up sharing point with Nottingham forest.
Today Manchester United hopefully will secure a point against Leicester city to keep their trophy hope alive.
