Mathematically, Liverpool's opportunity to regain fourth place is still open as long as the Reds are able to appear spartan in every match. Currently Liverpool have played 22 matches and still have two remaining matches compared to Tottenham who are in 4th position. This means that if Liverpool are able to win in the remaining two matches then their points will be 41. So therefore Liverpool's percentage to take 4th position is increasing big.

The victory over Newcastle yesterday is certainly a very valuable capital for Liverpool. But to secure the top four positions, Liverpool still have tough opponents left that they must win. But in my opinion the most realistic thing for Liverpool is to at least be able to finish 5th.

Well, yes Liverpool can still have the chance to even reach higher ranks in the league because they played 22 games while other teams mostly played 24 games like Manchester City and Manchester United so if Liverpool gets the 6 points they can reach a higher and better position on the premier league but still, so far Kloop couldn't perform well enough and other similar teams are fighting the league while Liverpool is in the middle of the table and they couldn't get enough points in the recent games which could be a reason to say Kloop and his team is not doing well this season.

I think it will be very difficult for Liverpool to get into the top 5 of the standings this year... The last game against Newcastle doesn't tell us anything yet... The only top club playing unstable and likely to drop out of the top 5 is Spurs... But it's not certain that Liverpool can take their place, as they need to win regularly to do so...

It's not so difficult as long as liverpool can perform like when this club was winning EPL 2019-2020. There are so many matches to come. Liverpool can still have a chance to get at least another 40 points as long as liverpool can get clean sheets in any match. Competing top 4 looks a bit difficult but nothing impossible for liverpool now. Liverpool will be facing some big clubs at the end of this season. This gonna be the most difficult match to be won by liverpool. I expect liverpool may lose points in these matches.

Earning at least 30 points look possible until the end of season. 4th place is still make sense to be targeted by liverpool.

They will be able to score as many points provided they don't play like they did in the first half of the season... And one of the leaders will play worse... I suppose it could be Spurs or Newcastle... But right now Fulham are also playing as well as Liverpool... So I have my doubts about them being able to get to 4th place...

All clubs still have a chance to win the premier league this season, but seeing Arsenal and MC's consistency is really a tough competition at the top, Spurs or Newcastle are fighting for Champions League tickets, because Newcastle has a chance to qualify for the Champions League from the last five matches. they have only lost once, in contrast to Spurs losing 2 of their last five matches, and Newcastle are only 1 point away from Spurs, at least this is Newcastle's focus on getting into the Champions League zone this year.

Talking about Fulham it looks like they will maintain the Europa League Zone this season, if they target getting into the Champions League Zone then they still have a chance because the points difference is not so far from Spurs and Newcastle.

But now the Manchester United team is third in the points table. And they are just 3 points behind Manchester City. Arsenal and Manchester City are now both in danger. Performances at both Arsenal and City are now somewhat unstable.

Manchester United will continue to put even more pressure on the two teams above them. slowly the points gap between Manchester United and Manchester City and Arsenal is getting closer, it is a sign that they will be ready to become strong competitors in the title race this season. Rashford has become the most dangerous figure for every opponent of Manchester United this season because of his skill in finishing which has allowed Manchester United to sit in 3rd place.

Manchester City and Arsenal must be able to concentrate fully on getting points from each upcoming match because the slightest carelessness will have a big impact on their ranking in the standings.

Why do people have so? much confidence in arsenal now when they recovered their position out of luck because of the inability of Manchester city to seal their occupation of the first spot position losing their last match was a big fall for MManchester city.

In this case I see Arsenal more fortunate they only lost the standings for a few days before taking over, but of course Arsenal cannot continue to depend on luck

Arsena l has never depended in luck, arsenal have done very well in this season.  In the last game they played against aston villa you can see the result of that game was achieved through hard work and not by luck.  It is not possible for a team to acquire this number of points and be in the first position for a long time and call it luck.

it's normal to say luck guides all we do in life, but in a case like this hard work comes in first before luck.
Arsenal has invested both financially, physically, mentally and otherwise, in other to make their way to third current position. Luck doesn't come in football when u are lazy.
Arsenal is a strong team led by a strong manager who is willing to learn from every angle. I'm not an arsenal fan but I can boldly say that Arsenal merit it position in the epl standing.

graham potter is the reason why chelsea is still in a slump until now but boehly doesn't seem to realize that

the purchases of players made by Chelsea in a frenzy have not produced maximum results, and that is the reason why the strategy carried out by Potter has so far not been effective in raising the performance of the Chelsea squad

It's a shame last year that the previous owner Abramovich had to leave England and of course the previous coach Thomas Tuchel should have given him more opportunities to improve Chelsea. However, it seems that the club's management did not want to waste time and seemed to be in a hurry in making decisions, so that finally it has had an impact like this on Chelsea's performance.

Indeed, I also think this is too much for Graham Potter, even in the last 10 matches in all competitions they have only managed to win once, even when they were against Crystal Palace. It looks like Chelsea fans like you are running out of patience and it is surely only a matter of time for Graham Potter to be sacked.

To be honest I'm not a Manchester United fan. however, since The Red Devils under the care of Ten Hag. I like the style of play displayed by The Red Devils players. in fact, Ten Hag was able to bring his troops far to appear very impressive. imagine, if Ten Hag was given the freedom to bring in the players he wants. I'm pretty sure United will be much stronger than they are currently showing. even so, after all Man City is still the favorite to retain the league title for this season. City's dominance still feels very strong, despite the fact that City has experienced a decline in performance in several of its matches.

But by the way, as an Arsenal fan. I hope Arteta is able to maintain the consistency of his troop and bring the Gunners' young squad to the Premier League trophy.

What we see from Manchester United's current game is the fruit of the strategy owned by Erik Ten Hag, now Manchester United is more organized in defense and attack. Also they have a good transition when they build up attacks. They are not in a hurry to get the ball into the attack line, but they take advantage of the players' ability to hold the ball and practice it well.

It's easy to believe such scenario but I wouldn't be too sure since you are also just making assumptions. Rashford has been on a surge but you can't really predict he would perform the same if he had other teammates. We've seen many new pairings that looked good on paper but never really worked on the field.

Obviously the teams I mentioned above will try their best to maintain a consistent performance. Newcastle may be down a bit at the moment, but Tottenham and Manchester United are up. Tottenham finally showed an impressive level of performance in a league game after weeks. They were highly the favourite side against West Ham though but still it was very good for them.

Because Conte hasn't been able to make his players stick to a solid game plan lately until this game. This had really bad consequences in some of their previous games. They could have been able to collect more points than this now which would have carried them quite ahead of Newcastle in the standings also. I really admired the organizations of Tottenham's goals. Especially the first goal deserved appreciation. Because it was an incredible through ball I mean. Tottenham should maintain this effort as much as possible if they want to qualify for the Champions League at least.

5 points is not a big difference and there are about 14 games to be played so in play there are 42 points and both Arsenal and City have difficult games in the Premier League during such time and this means that anything can happen.Of course Manchester United is not the favorite,the big ones are Arsenal and City but the fact that both these teams have made several errors in their last games,bigger errors than Manchester United means that chances are there even for Manchester United to keep fighting for the title this year.A good test will be their clash in Europa League,if the manage to qualify against Barcelona that would be a true moral booster to them.
