This season is like a nightmare for Chelsea. They have spent a lot of money in the transfer window, and they even did a change of coaches but that doesn't seem to be a solution for them. I personally am a Chelsea fan for a long time. and I have to realize that Chelsea's current condition in the premier league is indeed very concerning and of course I think it will be very difficult for Chelssa to be able to rank up to 4th in the standings. although there are still 11 games remaining. but I think the top 4 chances in the Premier league will probably be held by Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool or Newcastle. Tottenham who are currently ranked 4th I think will slowly lose their seats. as Newcastle and Liverpool have more games left.

and for Chelsea I can't expect much this season. even the difference in points between Chelsea and Tottenham who are ranked 4th is quite far. i.e. both have a difference of 11 points. Chelsea's only chance at the moment might indeed be in the Champions League. but I think it's also a very slim chance. because Real Madrid is an opponent who could humiliate Chelsea in the first leg of the quarter-finals later in the Champions League.

and yes Chelsea I think not wise enough in the first transfer market but for the second transfer market I still can't conclude anything.

 I see some good potential from the young players who are currently at Chelsea such as Joao Felix, Kai Havertz and Mykhailo Mudryk. but I think they still need more time to have a more mature game. but Joao felix has started to show a good game at the moment. It's similar like Leicester City where they won Premier League at 2015-2016 season, this club is out of nowhere but they can beat any big clubs easily. It still doesn't make sense how Leicester City can become a champions at that time, but now it's really hard for a small or unknown club to beat big clubs nowadays because they don't have a lot funds to buy a star player. Even they have built their own star player, they can't force the player to stay because they player will interested with money and popularity, not loyality.

I agree with you. The sacking of Tuchel was the biggest mistake of the Chelsea management this season. And now the Chelsea management understands this very well. For Bayern Munich to sack their manager that's lost just three games and hire Tuchel is another indication that Chelsea owner got it all wrong in sacking the same manager. Chelsea has won the Champions League in season's that they weren't the favorite to win it but that doesn't mean that they're gonna do it this time, I don't see Chelsea winning the Champions League with a certain Graham Potter.

But the current conditions for Potter are bad though I don't think Todd would be that stupid to get fired now.
Apart from admitting that the decision to fire Tuchel was wrong later, Todd must also be aware of how much compensation he has to spend again considering Potter's contract is still long.

We could have been in a better position but probably out of the champions league, as a fan I'll choose what we have now over the earlier assumption. Thomas Tuchel was flopping at Chelsea, we were losing finals that are winnable and he was stubborn with his style of play. He kept in okay I'm the same players even when they weren't delivering goals. He neglected youth players and brought in dead wood like Aubameyang. We didn't have it wrong sacking Thomas Tuchel but maybe hiring Graham Potter was when we got everything wrong.

Chelsea is too big for Graham Potter and he's beginning to regret leaving Brighton for Chelsea. I don't think Graham Potter style of play is boring but he's yet to get his strategy right since the players are yet to adopt to his style of play because of the constant rotation of players. Graham Potter should have his fix starting eleven then work with them to establish his style of play before rotating the players in every game. Sure some players will be angry for not getting playing time but that's a scarify he has to be ready to make to get things working at the club or he'll be sacked soon.

This team defeated big teams like Manchester United 7-0. And in the very next match against a weak team like Bournemouth, they lost 1-0. And so the performance of this team cannot be predicted. In the last two matches, the Liverpool team lost 1-0 against Bournemouth and Real Madrid. Despite the defeat against Manchester City, I don't think we'll see too many goals in this match. My guess is Manchester City can win this match with 2-1 goals.

Both teams both want to aim for three points to achieve their respective targets. Manchester City certainly don't want to lose their momentum at the Etihad Stadium.
