Truth be told, I miss Roman Abramovich. If he were still the owner of the club, Potter would have been job hunting now. He had zero patience for mediocrity which is one of the factors that has brough the club to its present standing in the league and among football lovers. Imagine this once great team being dominated by relegation teams. I used to think that the problem with the team was the players but after critical analysis, I have come to the conclusion that the players have already developed that sense of teamwork. In my estimation, the problem, what is lacking with this team is a top class coach, a leader with big influence who build back the champion and winning mentality. Sadly, I do not know what will become of the team if Potter remains still next season. The fans have been so patient and supportive of him but not anymore.

I agree with you. The sacking of Tuchel was the biggest mistake of the Chelsea management this season. And now the Chelsea management understands this very well. But the current conditions for Potter are bad though I don't think Todd would be that stupid to get fired now.
Apart from admitting that the decision to fire Tuchel was wrong later, Todd must also be aware of how much compensation he has to spend again considering Potter's contract is still long.

actually regarding the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel it turns out that recently the owner of the blues has revealed that the actual reason he sacked Thomas Tuchel at that time was not because Chelsea had suffered many defeats or because of Chelsea's poor performance. but the reason turned out to be because Tuchel was deemed not to have a vision that was in line with the new Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly. We could have been in a better position but probably out of the champions league, as a fan I'll choose what we have now over the earlier assumption. Thomas Tuchel was flopping at Chelsea, we were losing finals that are winnable and he was stubborn with his style of play. He kept in okay I'm the same players even when they weren't delivering goals. He neglected youth players and brought in dead wood like Aubameyang. We didn't have it wrong sacking Thomas Tuchel but maybe hiring Graham Potter was when we got everything wrong.

Chelsea is too big for Graham Potter and he's beginning to regret leaving Brighton for Chelsea. I don't think Graham Potter style of play is boring but he's yet to get his strategy right since the players are yet to adopt to his style of play because of the constant rotation of players. In my opinion, It is either Chelsea may have been looking for a low-budget manager or the decision to hire Potter may have been politically motivated. Why would they hire someone with no trophy record? Potter only won the Swedish Cup during his career. Why should potter regret it? he has been making a huge world record fee by moving from brighton to the chelsea. There's no other manager that has even got the big fee like that. I see things differently, it was a very big mistake for Chelsea to have sacked Thomas Tuchel, now, has the miracle been done? I could read from the news then that some coaches were even surprised by the sacking because the guy was doing his job and trying to fix things. At times, good results could pause as the club has issues of its own, just like what Man U faced some years back and people now thought Erik Ten Hag is the saviour.
