The likely champion of the premier league has become a two horse race between Arsenal and Man City but I think the former has an edge and brighter chance over the latter going by the 8 points of Arsenal including advantage of playing fewer tough matches compared to Man City who will also play FA Cup and UCL matches infact they will prioritize UCL because they had never won the coveted trophy, meanwhile the relegation battle will be very tough I also agreed that 14th placed Leeds Utd with 26 points isn't safe yet, the bottom team Southampton has 23 points just 3 points separated all the teams it going to be a real battle of "survival of the fittest".

It's very close in relegation battle as there isn't much gap down the table starting from Crystal Palace who stands 12th on the table with 27 points to Southampton who is at bottom of the table with 23 points. So in just 4 points there are 9 teams so it could be anyone out of those 9 teams. If you ask me then I think Southampton could be one as they have been horrible this season. About rest I am not so sure but yeah there are lot of rounds to be played and there will be lot of shift on the table in that area. Whatever it is, it has come down to a point where they have to act on it in order to get themselves out of the relegation zone.
