Newcastle seem to have gone into overdrive of late, they keep scoring too many goals and just last night they got 5 passed westham which was unexpected!
And if Manchester United and Newcastle end this campaign with same points they will remain on top because of their superior goal scoring... I guess big money is now working at Newcastle , wonder if these guys are given goal scoring bonuses because the team looks highly motivated and getting the job done.

From the look of things a top four finish looks guaranteed for these guys, thanks to their  consistency.

There are two big matches that will be played by Newcastle in the rest of the Premier League, namely Arsenal and Chelsea. If you are able to provide maximum results, then the possibility of staying in the top three will be great, while Man United only has one big game against Tottenham in the remaining matches this season. Speaking of opportunities, the two teams are still quite open to get rid of each other and win the top three positions until the end of the season. But the question is how far can the two teams play consistently until the end of the season, while Tottenham are also trying to catch them with 3 points remaining in the standings.

Newcastle's last four matches have always won and scored 11 goals, while Man United has experienced a slight decline in its last four matches, namely swallowing 2 defeats, drawing one and only being able to narrowly win against Brentford at home. Liverpool vs Arsenal will be a fierce match for the two teams because Arsenal must win three points to keep their distance from Manchester City who are in second place.
Meanwhile, Liverpool must win and get three points from Arsenal to continue to maintain hopes of finishing in the top four at the end of this season, and if they lose against Arsenal it will be even more difficult for Liverpool to be in 4th place.
and for Manchester City against Southampton and this is true because there is no problem because of course Manchester City will win.

I have a mixed feeling about this short term appointment. But looking at it from the owners perspective, there just 10 games remaining and I think it's a right decision they have made instead of rushing into things not well assessed, it is better you get Lampard as an interim manager as there looking to bring in a good manager slowly. Hopefully he's able to win majority of the remaining games in the PL, and try to finish in the Europa league places. Also, the owners need to make a good decision with the permanent manager. So far, all the decisions made haven't gone anywhere.

Interim manager would be very suitable position for him. lampard got sacked by abramovich caused by he has poor performance with chelsea. I don't even know what aspect that makes todd was signing him back again as caretaker until the end of season.

Potter

Across Potter's 31 games in charge, he won 12, drew eight and lost 11. The goal difference was poor at just +2 after scoring 33 and conceding 31. The points per game record was a measly 1.42.

Basically, potter's stat is not as good as tuchel or lampard but tuchel has a better record compared with lampard. The thing that is acceptable for me is at least lampard was replacing garbage bruno as the former the right hand from potter.

So, Lampard is the only competent manager who can come to the Chelsea owner's thoughts at this particular time when the team required more victories than ever to qualify for the Europa League. This selection of Lampard as interim manager demonstrates how ignorant of football the Chelsea owner is.

It's terrible that the Chelsea Club fell into the hands of someone who chooses coaches based on relationships he has had in the past with them, and I question why he chose Potter and now Lampard, given the circumstances of Chelsea being in the premier league and the sacking of Lampard by the previous owner.

Liverpool is really in bad shape this season they have managed to win most matches but they can't stand a team that is balanced in the EPL. There first leg against Chelsea was horrible and watching them perform poorly in the second leg shows how unimproved the team has become and truly VAR saved them against Chelsea if not so they should have lost with two goals. For their game against Arsenal,  I can't predict Liverpool to win because Arsenal is a more balanced them right now and they can go all the way to beat anyteam they come across and with City still pushing for the title challenge Liverpool may not get a draw against Arsenal but they may have the opportunity to score goals but just like Manchester city, Arsenal will come back to win them.

I admit that Liverpool really performed poor in that match. They were lucky to get a point out of it but honestly Chelsea deserved to win that one. Chelsea had lot of good chances but weren't able to score in any of it. Chelsea this season lacks finishing so I am not surprised at all. Next up is Arsenal and I expect Arsenal to beat them easily. We are a tough club to crack for most of the clubs so I think we will be able to show good show at Anfield next. Obviously it's not easy at Anfield with atmosphere but we are brimming with confidence and should handle them easily given the way they have been performing.

Been hard days for Kloop and his players, because they are not a good shape they lost many points recently, also they had many hard games against great teams this can be a reason to say they are in a good stamina situation and now Liverpool should play against Arsenal while according to the previous matches they had I can say there is a good chance for Arteta to win this game against Liverpool.

Yes, Arsenal are the strongest candidate to win the English Premier League this season, of course as fans are very excited to wait for the Gunners to lift the trophy, but the game is still quite long, the difference of eight points can still be chased by Manchaster City if Arsenal blunders in their last game then City still have a chance to catch up.
Liverpool have been poor but they can be very strong at times, which is something that Arsenal should pay attention to and should not underestimate.

I am seeing a fierce battle between this two team, and in the end, it will become a battle where they say the fittest should win.
Newcastle is already sitting in the 3rd place on the epl table, and Manchester united have down slided to thr 4th place, like you said, Newcastle will definitely fight really hard to stay in that possible as from now on.

Honestly, no one saw this season happening for Arsenal following last term's disappointing end, but new signings and consistency has turned Arteta's squad into a fierce side. There have been a lot of talks about Arsenal dropping point and it’s been on since the beginning of the season. it's April, and Arsenal is still top of the league and not showing any sign of losing the battle to win the league. . Truly Arsenal may have some big games in the next couple of weeks but they overcome some difficult situations this season already. If they can outsmart Liverpool at Anfield, then they will comfortably win the league.

Manchester United have been struggling to win games, their 1-0 victory against Brentford was a breakthrough. Without Casimero or Eriksson, they always seem to have issues in their midfield. There is good news for them though, because Eriksson is back from injury and they will son have Casimero back.

I'm not going to completely rule out Liverpool, because they could be unexpected and very impressive in this game, even though it's difficult.

Liverpool have a good record at home, Arsenal will find it difficult unless Klopp decides to keep his key players out again like he did with Chelsea.

Manchester United had a really dominant match against Brentford. It was a fully-deserved win in my opinion. The final score could have been bigger than that as well if Manchester United attackers were able to find the target in a better way. Brentford didn't have much chance against them. But there were two times they got close to scoring a goal though. One of them was nearly going to be a result of de Gea's mistake.    On the other one, de Gea literally made up for that by saving an important chance for Brentford.

This is what I would like to see from Manchester United more. They were keeping a bad form for a couple of weeks but now this should be helpful for them to play decently again.

In essence, if Arsenal get consecutive defeats then of course Manchester City can overtake Arsenal, but if Arsenal can maintain the unbeaten result even though it is a draw result I don't think Arsenal can be overtaken anymore. Also, playing against Liverpool, I think Arsenal still have the ability not to lose which means, Arsenal can win and maybe can also hold Liverpool to a draw.

But yes, however Liverpool also has a good chance to win at this home match and of course, this makes Arsenal have to be able to make their best efforts in this match. But because Arsenal are only focused on the Premier League at this moment, then of course Arsenal will be able to play optimally.

Having said that, Chelsea outperforms Liverpool in their match by a wide margin. Chelsea won the game handily and even managed to score two goals that were ruled out. In comparison to Chelsea's prior games under Potters' leadership, I think they played much better tonight. The squad requires a good coach who can put the player in the appropriate position. I believe that they are putting that into consideration than bring in less experience coach that can't handle big clubs like Potter

Chelsea played very well against Liverpool and did deserve a win instead of the draw they got. I was quite surprised the boys had it in them but still we can't take out the fact that Liverpool has been very poor as Chelsea this season so when two average teams place don't praise the side that did better because they're actually playing against a weak team. The attack of Chelsea was as dull as when they were playing under Graham Potter so there was no difference. Hope you saw the chances that Chelsea throwaway in that game. The substitution were also wrong and almost cost us that game because at some point Liverpool began picking form.

Nevertheless a draw is better than a loss and hopefully we can pick up form for upcoming games. Chelsea now has a new Manager that'll be incharge until the season is over which is our former player/manager Frank Lampard. If there's something I loved about frank Lampard when he was managing Chelsea previously, is how he assembled the team that won us the champions league. Without Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel won't have had the squad he took to the champion league and won it for us. I just hope Frank Lampard can give us something to smile about so he doesn't spoil our memories of him.

Whether Newcastle or Man Utd topple each other for the third position notwithstanding a drop in point by any of the two might likely drop down because Tottenham who occupies the 5th position has 3 points difference below Man Utd and Newcastle though both club has an outstanding match, nevertheless the league is still open to the contending teams for the last two UCL spot, thus those three clubs will will slug it out till the last day of the league when each of the positions will be occupied by those clubs respectively as it stand now I will still consider Tottenham as a major top 4 contender too.
