Chelsea have recently been giving quite a bad performance even in the last 5 matches Chelsea have only won one game three defeats and one draw.
With Chelsea's previous decision to fire Potter, it was a good decision because as long as Chelsea was under coach Potter, they didn't have a good history of achievements.

Regarding Lampard, I'm not sure I can provide good development for Chelsea because we can see in the past when Chelsea was cared for by Lampard, they also didn't provide satisfactory achievements.
So that if Chelsea recruits Lampard again it will only be like when Potter where Chelsea will only get worse and experience far behind with other big teams.

I'm glad West Ham managed to beat Fulham today and move up from the relegation zone... By the way, there is a lot of competition in the relegation zone this season...))) Rashford didn't have a very good day but still he made an assist at least. Because he got two big opportunities by one-on-ones against Pickford but he wasted both of these chances generously. I still don't think this is bad for him because he has had a really positive performance during the most of the season so far. He has made a really great contribution to the team with his goals and assists. This is like his most productive season honestly. By the way, Everton were quite weak at defending as usual. De Bruyne, with an amazing cross as usual found the top of Haalands head. I think Haaland, having somewhat of an advantage with his height, quickly found the cross with his head and put it in beautifully.

With this goal, Manchester City would be going into the half time with the lead. There is no doubt that the second half would bring more goals as Manchester City would go on to score more goals. Hopefully, the second half would be more exciting than the first.

This has really been a bad season for Chelsea. Even though they have tried almost everything, it seems they still haven't found a solution to their slump. Their opponent was not a big team, but Chelsea failed to get a point against Wolves. I think their performance is getting worse, where they are slow in building attacks and their defensive line looks unsteady, and the most crucial thing, Chelsea does not have a striker who can be relied upon.

Chelsea continues to suffer already with a new coach. Apparently the players have not yet come to their senses after working with Potter. Of course it's hard to watch Chelsea play this season. I also don't have much expectations from Chelsea now after they have got Lampard. I wouldn't call Lampard a clown coach but yeah he has lot to learn and experience as a manager. It wasn't a wise decision from Chelsea to sign Lampard (I have talked about it why I feel so) but anyway its just temporarily so let's see how it goes till the end of this season. I think they should have gone with either of Nagelsmann or Enrique (even better) in my opinion when they had a chance. Not sure why they didn't make things final when things were very close.

My opinion is this. If Chelsea under the tutelage of Frank Lampard are able to win all the wins in the remaining games this season, let's say there are 7 more remaining, then Chelsea at the end of the season will get 60 points (21 + 39).
Can they end in fifth place in the standings? while Tottenham and Liverpool will also try to be in that position because the top four positions are hard to come by.

I agree with you on this one, Newcastle games has been a glorious outcome in their few played matches, their come back on the top 3 is a very condeble job but I think they need to push hard even though they are ahead of Manchester United, other teams will be having this phobia anytime they have match with them, I never even expect them to quicly climb back at the standing of top 4.

The competition in the top three will be even more competitive as the competition between Man United and Newcastle continues. Man United managed to beat Everton and Newcastle also managed to secure full points, the most interesting match for both of them in week 29 with important wins to maintain their position in the standings. Newcastle almost lost that game because Brentford had much bigger chances, but they missed a penalty and an own goal made Newcastle get full points in this match.

I think Liverpool already miss the chances when they played against Chelsea, they should have win the match to stablized their points, now they have their next match against Arsenal, and the way Aresenal is in form, they may trash and humiliate Liverpool again in Anfield and I don't think they will be able to sustain their standing, Fulham may overtake them because they have higher winning rate in thier next match than Liverpool and Brentford.

Liverpool's record has been terrible this season in the league so I don't think they will be able to finish in the top four or five. Defeats against Bournemouth, Manchester City and a draw against Chelsea have made their chances of being in the top five very improbable, 10 points too many for them to catch Tottenham's position in the top five of the standings. The next match also made it difficult for Liverpool to get full points because they would face Arsenal who were in perfect form.

Nine matches unbeaten in all competitions and this is a good capital for Arsenal to visit Anfield. Arsenal will definitely give their full strength against Liverpool, but I think the chance of the game ending in a draw is very possible, because Liverpool are also ambitious to get points even if they have to end in a draw.
