Even though Chelsea were a weak team, they played well throughout the match and scored the first goal in the match.  And despite a goal against them, they kept the match draw at 1-1 until the 68th minute. But unfortunately Brighton scored another goal against them in the 69th minute and they couldn't counter in the last minute.  And finally they lost the match 1-2. however, even though Chelsea lost the match, they played well enough

I don't even think when there was a team loss in the match and you could call that if the team already played so well. It's not how football is working right now. Lose points = worst performance. There was no club that wanna loses points. Chelsea has been playing so badly against brighton. It seemed to me that if brighton was playing at home rather than stamford bridge. My impression if chelsea likely as a team who has been playing away not at its own home. Brighton was fully dominating the ball since the first half. Chelsea has been getting very low ball possession.
The poor result against brighton was making chelsea even closer to the relegation zone. Will chelsea releagate at the end of this season? This question is very interesting to be answered at the end of season.

I don't even know what's wrong with lampard? Lampard's strategy is not always working. It seems like that wrong decision by lampard related to the witch players that might have included in the starting lineup and which is not. Chelsea may lose with huge scores if brighton has proper finishing.

A veey disappointing result from Chelsea FC. After the midweek defeat in the champions league at Santiago Bernabeu, I thought they would win today's game to give their fans something to cheer up. Being beaten at the Stanford Bridge by Brighton is a wake up call that Frank Lampard is not the man for the job. How can a team with so much talents display such an abysmal performance? How can Chelsea make only 2 shots on goal against Brighton's 10 shots on goal while playing at home? How has the mighty fallen!

I don't understand what Chelsea officials are doing. When the team slumped in the Potter era they seemed to have absolutely no initiative to fix it. Supposedly if there are no more targets to be achieved let alone the team managed by Saltor. But their decision to appoint Lampard as coach was even more wrong and made the team's condition even more chaotic. In the hands of Lampard, Chelsea have suffered three defeats. I'm sure the Blues will find it very difficult to win if the team's conditions don't change. If you look at the remaining matches, then Chelsea has the potential to sink further.

Just as i said earlier before graham potter departure from Chelsea, the crisis rocking Chelsea is not that of coach or player but rhe managment of the club the problem because there don't excise patience to allow the club to build to recover and if you sack a coach and employ a new one, you should also be ready to give a long time for the coach to get used to the players and vis visa.

That will give the coach and players proper time to create the technical connection needed to win every opposition or better still have the time to build a strong defence and attacking positions.

With the way Chelsea Football Club is playing these days. I don't think that they are playing to achieve anything, it looks as if if they don't play they will say that they are not footballers anymore. So they have to go and play whatever result they have they will take. The owner of Chelsea is tired, Graham Potter is vindicated, Frank Lampard is confused. The players don't want to play. In fact, the fans are tired. This is not the season for Chelsea. They should pray not to go for relegation. Maybe next season Chelsea will come with their squad and become the champions of the English Premier League.

One cannot tell whether Chelsea's problem is with the coach or the players. This is the third manager in one season, and they have nothing to show for their efforts. It could have been worse, and they could potentially be fighting for relegation if they had started the season with this poor performance way now.

This is the club's third defeat in three games since Frank Lampard took over as manager. I expected him to outperform his predecessors, but the way things are currently going, we'll need to see a struggling Chelsea not slide into the relegation zone before the end of the season.

After this season, they should aim to build a strong team that can challenge for the Premier League trophy the next season. Focusing on one cup at a time next season will be beneficial to them, but for the time being, I've lost faith in them to make me proud this season.

Lol, what happened to Lampard after three consecutive defeats that Chelsea got, at least I would be surprised if Chelsea still kept Lampard as Chelsea coach. What's worse, in this home match, Chelsea still lost by Brighton and even, statistically, Chelsea looks very bad.

So yes, it would not be right for Chelsea to keep Lampard in the coaching chair, because at this moment Chelsea have become a mediocre team because they have very poor quality. Because if Boehly has money, then use it to recruit the best coaches and the best players. Because it will be useless if the money Chelsea has spent so far has not produced good results, because Chelsea only recruits coaches and players who are not of high quality.

The condition of the Chelsea team is very bad. I couldn't have imagined that Chelsea would be defeated like this in today's match. In fact, the opposing team put Chelsea under tremendous pressure, Chelsea's attack could not help much. The coach of the Chelsea team has some great mistakes, if these mistakes are not corrected, the Chelsea team will go to a very bad position day by day.

Despite they loss dey had tried, it is not easy to jump from weak to the strong it have to be gradually, the performance in this game as actually improve more than the last 5 games played. Ending the game 1-2 is a sign of bouncing back, the next game will the tough than this game, all the management need is patient and allow the coach to do is best, it is not easy to meet club at a weak point and expect magic to happen fast, take a look at arsenal last season who knows they will perform to this stage this season, then fan we're saying the should sent the coach away but the management believes in him and also give him chance, now they are happy they made it. Chelsea management should calm down and allow the lampard to try is best.

I think it's a team problem, the mentality of the team is down and they need a fierce coach to make some drastic decisions. It could be dropping of all first team players and playing second team players to send a message to the team that no one is a gauranteed starter. It could also be bringing in players from the feeders team, but I don't see that kind of personality in Frank Lampard. The season is over for Chelsea in regards to their pursuit for european football, the management should be on the look out for a new manager.

Its just 25 minutes of play in the game between Manchester City and Leicester City and the score is already 3-0 in favour of the blue half of Manchester. This Manchester City team is just something else when it comes to scoring and their prolific stricker(erling Harland) has already bag two gaols to his name already and if the game continues with this much goal trend, i think he is even going to score upto 4goals today. This win will certainly send a serious message to the guners tomorrow telling them that they are red hot on their tail likewise same for Bayern Munich in their second leg rematch at the alianz arena.

After I watched the way Manchester City demolished Bayern Munich with ease at the Etihad Stadium, I guess the chances for Leicester City hoping to gain any points from this upcoming match against Manchester City is extremely low. I think Manchester City will be able to beat Leicester City relatively easily.

I was doubting City, until they have a thrilling victory against Bayern Munich who is also an elite club in bundlesliga. Etihad stadium is an undefeated ground for city, they always have the higher hands to beat their opponents with ease. Pep Guardiola priority this season is, to grab the EPL and UCL trophy. Leicester city won't stand a chance against the home club, Manchester city will dominate the game fulltime, I'll bet my ticket on city because I'm confident with the club performance.

So true. And I think this game is also an important game for Manchester City. Because Man City must get full points from this match to get close to the point difference with Arsenal. Because if Man City only gets a draw in this match then the point difference with Arsenal will be even further away. and the chances for Man city to overtake Arsenal will be even slimmer. so I'm sure that in this match Man City will play with maximum performance.

The thing is, Manchester City already has a huge advantage, going into the second leg against Bayern Munich. So I don’t think they would like to compromise the English Premier League matches because of the champions league match that they are most certainly going to win.

I believe Manchester City is going to put the same importance on that English Premier League match as the champions league match. They would not like to lose in either of them. My prediction is they will go for a draw in the second leg of the champions league match and go for a win in the English Premier League match.

It looks like Haaland will again score a hat-trick or maybe a quat-trick because in the first half alone, Manchester City have led 3-0 and Haaland has scored two goals. So, if in the second half Haaland is not included in the substitution list, then of course Haaland still has a very big chance of scoring a few more goals.

After all, Manchester City's position in the Champions League is very safe because they won 3-0 on aggregate. So, even though Haaland still plays for up to 90 minutes in this match, I think Manchester City will still be fine. With the way Brighton & Hove Albion started the game, I knew it was going to be very difficult game for the Chelsea side, Chelsea started the game poorly and the where lucky scoring first, I was expecting them to capitalized on that advantage but Brighton & Hove Albion came prepared and they played very well from the beginning of the game to the end, Brighton & Hove Albion have been really good this season, and they are trying to be among the team that will qualify for Euro league come next season and with the way they have been playing so far this season, I believe they are definitely going to make it to European competition next season. And Chelsea at this point in time need a messiah coach like Pep Guardiola to bring them from the mess they are already.

See the level of opponents they are face, it looks like Arsenal also have a big chance to win
West Ham is not in a good condition which could be a concern for Arsenal. Their consistency has been erratic lately, West Ham's performance in several matches has seen ups and downs
Arsenal's situation is more pressing for them not to lose points, can be sure Arsenal will minimize possible mistakes in the upcoming matches

Another poor performance from chelsea brighton team dominated the game from the begining and they made a great comeback beating chelsea for the second time this season, this is the fifth game for chelsea without a win and after losing to real madrid it seems that chelsea season ended and they won't be playing in the champions league next season.

a quick goal in the first half was scored by John Stones in the 5th minute and two goals by Erling Haaland in the 13th minute (P) and in the 25th minute, Erling Haaland seemed to have the opportunity to add goals and become a Hattrick, and the second half took place and Manchester City dominated the entire game.
