Even the strongest teams in the world have bad days sometimes and they lose some points but still Arsenal is the first team in the premier league which is a good reason to say they were performing well enough during this season however they were unlucky against West Ham because of Saka missing a penalty kick.

I honestly wouldn't pin down on Saka's penalty mistake. It happens in penalty and it can be missed sometimes. We also could have tried to defend proper and avoid conceding those goals? It's not an individual mistake, it's a team one and everyone should be held responsible. It was an unlucky day for us but we can't change the result now. We can only do better in next fixtures and make the most out of it now.

Arsenal - Southampton is going to be the opening match of next week. This is another important match for Arsenal as usual on the road going to the league championship. There has been some drop in their performance level recently and this has reached an alarming level now. Because Manchester City are four points behind and have a missing match to play as well. Arsenal don't have any luxury of making simple mistakes anymore.

For two weeks they have been getting 2-0 ahead in the matches but haven't been able to prevent a 2-2 draw at the end. They need to find a solution to this. They have serious issues with defending obviously. Otherwise I really like their performance in offense as always. If they balance their performance again then there shouldn't be any problem at all against Southampton in a couple of days.

Arsenal, and Southampton match will make it the 32 matches for Arsenal while Manchester City will still be at their 30th match in the premier league. That's to say, Manchester City has two understanding matches to play after they have played against Bayern(which is today) in the champion league.

The best Arsenal can do presently is to win against Southampton on Friday to make it 7 points gap with Manchester City because their match after Southampton is Manchester City.

There was going to be a really lovely match to be played this Saturday if it wasn't postponed due to FA Cup. I mean a Manchester United v Chelsea match

Based on what we have experienced from the both teams in this season, showed that Chelsea are very weak to achieve victory from this match because Manchester united are doing well in this season which will be an advantage for them to defeat Chelsea to improve their points. I don't think, the match will be postponed, because the two teams are well prepared to display their skills to encourage their fans to have hope in their performance. If Real Madrid can eliminated Chelsea from champions league tournament without allowed them to score a single goal from the first leg and second leg , showed that Manchester united will get victory on Saturday to improve their points in the premier league table .

The Manchester United vs Chelsea match will indeed be quite an interesting match. because even though Chelsea is not in good shape. but still matches between two big teams always make us curious. but sadly it looks like the game will be postponed. because Manchester United has a busy schedule on that date. i.e. on the 21st Manchester united has a match in the Europa league against Sevilla. and on the 23rd Manchester united has a match in the FA Cup against Brighton. so the match against Chelsea which should have been held on the 22nd seems very unlikely to be carried out. as Manchester will need some rest after playing Sevilla in the Europa League earlier in the day.

I think that if arsenal may not able to win EPL again this season. My feeling told me that manchester city was the favorite team at this time to win EPL. The gap to manchester city is quite small at this moment. I would like to think that manchester city gonna try to make revenge for arsenal. instead I see it is not a factor of fatigue but the mentality of the team, the Arsenal team which is inhabited by many young players seems to have started to panic now because their points are almost being chased by Manchester City.
in the West ham match it was very visible when they were already 2 goals ahead and the failure to execute the penalty by Saka made Arsenal's game decrease so that West ham managed to equalize.

I don't know why Asernal players are losing moticarions even though their have done well in this season and if you have being following their recent performance you will see that even in the mist of all the uncertainty it clear that Asernal still struggled to walk away with multiple draw results instead of conceding defeat which should have been bad for the players overall motivation.

In the last five premier league fixtures they've had, they've really been poor at defending and keeping clean sheets, I'm certain they'll still concede when they face Southampton during the weekend.
They'll have to give all they have keep them heads high as they play that game.

For the weekend, I was so happy to see Unai Emery squad, Aston Villa destroying one of the best defending sides in the Premier League if  not even the best defending side in the Premier League. ( Newcastle ) Watkins was so brave and the clean sheets for Martinez was superb. Aston Villa are now competing for Europa League gradually, they look likely to make it and stick and get stucked innnit.

I do not think that Arsenal is panicking, I mean it is right that they lost some points but they are still Arsenal and Arteta is a manager who has seen plenty of champions when he was Peps guy, and he knows how to handle the pressure even if the players don't. I think from this point forward they are going to win every game but City one, and they will just hope that City loses some points somewhere, it doesn't have to be a loss, a draw would work wonders for them and they are looking for that to happen.

The game between them would be very difficult for Arsenal without a doubt, but rest of the games should be easy. If they lose points again then I would guess that it could be turning into something different, we just don't know what to do yet.

The return of Gabriel Jesus after his injury actually had quite an impact on Arsenal, but sometimes this team doesn't take advantage of the opportunities that exist. Especially if they realize that Arsenal's only competitor this season, namely Manchester City, is far more exhausted because they have to participate in two different competitions and indeed Manchester City has targeted these two titles from the start. So I think if Arsenal are still the same as last week, then they are not enough to be able to prevent Manchester City from winning the EPL title this season.
