Gundogan left and perhaps Mahrez will leave Manchester City but he will not be the only star player will leave Etihad in this summer. Manchester City still have very strong squad to be competitive enough in Premier League and they have high chance to protect their title. However they will be challenged more by competitors like Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and perhaps Manchester United as well as Newcastle United. They are champions in Champions League and they will carry a task to protect it too. I think pressure to succeed in Champions League will continue to impact their performance in Champions League.

Kovacic and Gvardiol will help Manchester City to have better defense. Kovacic will support Rodri in the midfield and Gvardiol will bring both strength for their defense but also will help them to have more proactively attacking from their back line.

I don’t see the reason why Chelsea will sign a 30 years old player because they lack much of senior players. Are the senior players the only ones in the pitch or they’re the only one that can have effect in the game when they’re much in the pitch? The fact that it is Maguire makes me think that this is just rumor and Chelsea won’t make a mistake of bringing in Maguire to serve as a senior player and example to the younger players. We have seen how his stay as Manchester United went through after he began to play woefully which made them had no choice than to want to part ways with him. He should go get another club to sign for and not Chelsea that are planning to build a stronger squad against next season.

I believe that news is false because the defender in question is unlikely to be consistent and had a poor form in the previous season. Pre season matches has begin that some of the big teams have already had a few matches and yesterday Liverpool was fight against Germany 2nd division team Karlsruher and Liverpool won with the final scores 4-2 and this is good winning indeed but i didn't really satisfied to see Liverpool performance yesterday because they still cannot displayed good performance but Karlsruher looks cannot easily to beat because they can scores 2 goals and the match almost ended with draw if Jota didn't scores at extra time and bringing Liverpool to gets their first winning this season and on that match Szoboszlai have already to make his debut but besides that i have seen in the lineup Klopp has make an experiment with played Alexander-Arnold to midfielder position and the result is not quite bad because he can able to adapt with that position and apparently for this season Alexander-Arnold will have new position

I don’t think so, pep Guardiola is already having replacement for the players that left so am sure it’s not really going to have any impact on the team, Guardiola already bought some players which can fit in the position of the players that left. Even if guardiola those not sign any new player am sure he is still having talented players that are always on bench which he can use as replacement for the players that left and they are going to perform well. I'm curious about Chelsea the most now. Because they had a horrible season and now they are starting off with a clean slate with Pochettino. So many players have left the team to join Saudi Arabian teams mostly. They have been trying to keep the squad as solid as possible since then. Squad depth is also very important for Chelsea to have a good start to the season.

Newcastle United, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all making moves and these moves have gone a long way in improving their teams but Manchester City have been far less active in the market. Of course, Guardiola's side are treble winners so it would be fair to ask: what do they need to do?. the initial match which indeed seemed amazing because Chelsea pre-season match was not against a strong team so it was only natural that Chelsea was able to score 5 scores at once and this was a matter of pride for Pochettino after recruiting Nkunku managed to contribute 1 goal in yesterday match. this pre-season match actually for me is not too serious because Chelsea has not yet played with an equal team but later in the next pre-season match Chelsea will compete with Brighton who is the same as from the EPL and this match will prove whether Chelsea has proven to be stronger or not.

regarding the increase in Chelsea performance in the summer, I predict a little if there will only be an increase in performance and maybe it won't be as strong as it was a few years ago.
