Hmmm... I hope this is not just a victory, but a whole turning point in the current season. If you look at the game schedule, you can see that by this time City’s game calendar was quite easy (at least easier than that of their opponents). And now they have fewer points than Arsenal and Tottenham. I hope that in future more difficult games City will continue to lose points and some other club will win the title.
I'm really looking forward to the bookmakers' quotes - to be fair, Arsenal should already be the favorite.

The fact that Manchester City lost to Arsenal is a clear indication that they will be unable to retain their premier league crown season after season. I sincerely doubt that Manchester City will once again be a premier league powerhouse. Premier League teams are starting to figure out how to neutralize Manchester City's dominating strategies in every game. Currently, Haaland is playing less effectively in games as a result of Kelvin Bruyne's injury absence. Those lovely passes that Manchester City employs to score against their opponent are not being made by anyone on the team.

What’s interesting is that bookmakers have a radically different opinion:

Liverpool 6.50

Tottenham Hotspur 13.00

In fact, I'm surprised because City are in decline and they're not even leaders in the Premier League. In my opinion, such quotes are unfair. And if we talk about the money bet, I wouldn’t risk it now for 73%; the bet on Arsenal looks more reasonable.

It looks like Arsenal is able to avenge their defeat last season by beating Manchester City in today's match.

A single win against Man City isn't equal to the loss of winning the EPL title in the previous season. I still can't call it the avenge! If Arsenal really beats Man City in the race of winning the title this season, then I will call it an avenge. However, the win against Man City will boost the morality/mentality of Arsenal players. The Arsenal squad is really strong and their mentality is very ready when facing an equally strong team. They look stronger but they need to maintain their good performance.
I hope they won't experience the same thing in the second half of this season. Usually, Arsenal often decreases their performance significantly in the second half of the season.

I think they have shown their sense of revenge even though this is a match that hasn't strengthened us enough to say that they have shown their consistent form, but this victory is a moment of revenge. It's true that Arsenal is a little luckier if the ball doesn't hit the opponent maybe the situation is different, but apart from that moment Arsenal deserved to win for their efforts in the second half. I don't follow news about Manchester City so I don't know what's going on within the team however, from what I saw yesterday it seems City played less aggressively and was less effective how is it possible that they only had 4 chances and only 1-2 dangerous attacks. If Manchester City continues to play like this then I'm sure they will fall behind in the standings.

In this match Arsenal really deserved to win, what is of concern in my opinion is that Arteta, who is getting wiser in making substitution decisions, is becoming more mature in determining strategy. If Arsenal consistently plays like this, there is a big possibility that this year they will emerge as EPL champions.

On the other hand, Guardiola must be able to rely on second-string players, it seems that if a main player is absent it will always be a problem. This rarely happens in the EPL, Man City only shot 4 and 1 on target. Without Rodri and De Bruyne, Man City players are very confused.

Just like you because if you keep seeing the same team dominating the battle for the title it certainly won't be very interesting to follow. But if one of the teams succeeds in breaking down their dominance then the competition looks more interesting and it is more difficult to guess who will win the title later.

It seems like Arteta is increasingly understanding how to beat Manchester City because in the previous season it was so difficult for him to find a way to beat Manchester City, but this season he seems to have found a way to beat Manchester City.

Liverpool couldn't answer in the last 10 minutes. Brighton's defense was vulnerable maybe but their scoring productivity has been really impressive so far.

We have seen another example of it which helped them get a point from this tough game. First the Tottenham loss and now a draw against Brighton. There is some drop in Liverpool's form but I believe in them to make up for this against Everton next time.

In the first half, Man City actually almost scored 1 goal. But Arsenal were lucky because when the goalkeeper failed to read the direction of the ball, there was still an Arsenal player who could stop the ball with a header. After that Man City didn't have many chances to come back. And it was Arsenal who continued to push Man City's defense.

Arteta seems to be maturing as a coach. Finally he was able to beat the club coached by Pep Guardiola, who was also like his own teacher. Because in the last 8 matches, Man City has always been able to beat Arsenal. But now Arsenal can break their losing streak. And all Arsenal fans must be very happy with this result. Because after all, beating Man City is like a dream for this club. And now that dream has come true. Well, I was actually amazed at the outcome of that game yesterday, I was personally not expecting the game to end in draw, I had initially believed that Liverpool would win the match, but how wrong i was to have belittled Brighton in such a manner, Liverpool played a good game to be sincere, at least, this is based on the part of the game i watch since i meet the game in the second half.

But Brighton team did very well to defend the potential goals, they held Liverpool in the very tight corner honestly, at the end, the game ended in a draw of 2: 2 , really was an interesting game, but honestly, Liverpool disappointed me, and like you said, they seem to be going down, they better step up, so that they could end in the top 4 (at least) by the end of this season.

Currently, Brighton is transformed into a truly great club because seeing from this match they can even compensate for the game shown by Liverpool and force a draw for week 8.
Honestly I like the game of both regardless of the results and my bet that lost because it was on Liverpool but these two teams showed a good game and I really like this.
Granted the two goals (Simon Adingra's first and Salah's second on penalty) were the fault of some defenders who failed to delay the ball but after that I saw a determined game from both teams and it was a good thing to watch.

Week 8 is over and the top 4 is still very tight in the standings.

Brighton fought back, and they didn't let the visitors take home the win, and they did just that. In the game too they can compensate for what is demonstrated by Liverpool. a very fair result seeing from the performance of the two teams playing in this match.
Although Liverpool can be better in possession, but it does not make a problem for Brighton because they can quickly close the movements made by Liverpool players. Vice versa, Liverpool did not want to be missed in this match, although they did not win but they could still bring 1 point.

I admit Brighton tried to still be able to improve a few matches before, especially when made embarrassed by Aston Villa. Even though in terms of quality Liverpool is still above the Aston Villa in mastering the field. But if the story Brighton is faced with a big club they are able to balance your opponent very well.

The point is, in this match the Arsenal players played very disciplined, especially in their defense line. Likewise with the midfield players, every attack created by Manchester City was able to be blocked by the Gunner players. and what I'm a little confused about is, Pep applies the same system as Arsenal with his 4-3-3. I thought initially Pep Guardiola would implement a 4-2-3-1 system. or, 3-2-4-1. It's just that maybe because Rodri still received a red card suspension, Pep is adopting another pattern even though he actually has the option of other players if he applies the system I said. and don't be surprised if Pep tends to dare to rotate his players in different positions.

But IMO, ideally if Pep implemented a 4-3-3 system, he could rotate ideal and established players. Grealish, Haaland, Alvarez, on the front line. for the middle, it could be Kocavic, or Jeremy Duku, it could also be Foden, don't be surprised, because Pep often rotates players as he wants. in the middle would ideally be John Stones, and the other middle side could be played by Bernardo Silva. for the defense line, that is ideal.

I still can't accept the lose against Arsenal, the goal scored by Martinelli isn't really a matter and it's an unintentional mistake by Ake, but how it's possible there's no goal scored by Manchester City

Manchester City is an offensive club, it will not gonna work if they play with defensive strategy. I think Pep is only want to score a goal and hold until the times run out, this is not Manchester City that I know.

Pep Guardiola got his tactics all wrong with the midfielder's. Kovacic shouldn't have been a part of the game. Kovacic importance can only be seen when you lead a game and wants to put that game in control.
Pep Guardiola will learn from his mistakes. That cleared, Arsenal did play well, they did not play a boring kind of football.
After the international break, they should face another big side ( Chelsea ) blues are pushing to the top but that would be a game for gunners to win. It's a season to see Arsenal winning the Premier League.

Tottenham I'm impressed with, the goalkeeper is good both with the legs and hands. He helped the defense keep a clean job during the game against Luton Town.

Tottenham may stay longer than we think. There will be a time for Arsenal to break their record meeting with Manchester City and that was answered in today's match with Arsenal's victory at the Emirates Stadium which finally made them win for the first time after 12 meetings without winning. Actually, I was quite bored watching this match because there weren't many opportunities created and it was also apparent that both teams played very carefully in this match so as not to make fatal mistakes. Brighton played better in this match. It was able scoring the second goal after brighton was lost during the second half caused by two goals conceded by salah. I thought that if brighton would be lost but my choice was right. The match between brighton vs liverpool quite impossible to predict which club that would be winning the game. Brighton has been successfully preventing liverpool from winning the game. Brighton had been pressuring liverpool since the game was starting but due to the mis communication from the defenders made liverpool got a chance to equalize the score become 1-1. Liverpool was also trying so hard in beating brighton to secure full points caused liverpool was trying to enter into the title race for this season.
Zerbi was also getting shocked after liverpool was scoring two goals in a row from salah but glad to see his club was not missing the point from this match. 1 point is better than 0 point.
