Last season, Arsenal had a better duration at the top spot of the English Premier League table more than any other club did in the league last  season but that didn't stop Manchester City from becoming the eventual winners of the league title. City are currently the dominant team in the English Premier League as they've won the title in the past three seasons.

Manchester City didn't unleash their full power in my opinion and Arsenal are doing good but they still lacks consistency. In the previous season they were better, they were expected to win the title but they ended up losing points easily and giving a golden opportunity for Manchester City which they didn't miss.
This year the competition between the two teams are close to each other while Arsenal isn't doing like the previous season. I mean they could be first today and third few days later.

Arteta needs to do some players' rotation if they do not face a strong club because the injury of some players can affect the results of the match, so that this impact will be a source of problems with their consistency in competing with Manchester City.

In contrast to Manchester City because although there are some injured players they have a balanced squad depth so it is not so influential. Last season became a picture of how Arsenal were unable to survive into the last 10 matches in the league so Manchester City shifted their position in the standings and came out as champions.

This season will be very challenging for Man City compared to last season. This is because during last season it was very obvious that Arsenal and Manchester City were the only teams that were in a competition for the title race and only some few teams were performing to be an obstruction. While in this current season we see a lot of competition in the league. And teams like Newcastle, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Chelsea, Wolves to mention a few have been a very challenging team for the current top three to play against. Any of the top three teams can lose to this team or draw. We have seen that in Newcastle defeating Arsenal and Tottenham getting a draw with Arsenal. Also Chelsea drawing Manchester City and Wolves winning Manchester City.

Compared to last seasons performance, Arsenal dropped a massive development. They're more of a better attacking side last season to this season. They're are not doing badly if you ask me, they'll just need some two additional players. One to replace Saka and the other for the unstable Gabriel Jesus. You can't predict whether the performance from arsenal will be consistent till the end of season. I personally doubted it since arsenal has only very small gap towards some clubs in UCL.
It's not only city. We have another club is going up again like liverpool. The competition will be far harder for Arsenal caused by it's going to face some clubs at the same time.

I have not seen any form of improvement from Arsenal's side in this season and although they won one or two of their matches in the early stage of the premier leagues which was a good start but along the line, what played out in the last season is still playing out in this season which shows that there has not been alot of improvement in the team performance and Asernal has shown alot of weakness in some of their games this season which proves that Asernal has not made food use of the transfer window after the last season to get new good players onboard the club which is a big slow down for Arsenal in this season and even the next coming season if things continue the way it is right now.

Newcastle United have started to perform the way they did last season in the Premier League and if they beat Manchester United this weekend, I will say that Newcastle United's last season form is back. With the recent form of Newcastle United in the Premier League this season, they have all it takes to beat Manchester United, and they have beaten Manchester United this season.

Manchester United seems to have found a good way to win the match. They have improved even though all the teams they beat were not strong teams, but this can encourage players and teams to play better to win other difficult matches. Including the match against Newcastle, it is a difficult match which could possibly be an obstacle for United in maintaining consistent performance. They can still lose even though this team has been very good in the last few matches.

Newcastle is a team that has developed rapidly in the last two seasons. Eddie Howe really succeeded in turning a team with an ordinary squad into a better quality team. Of course they haven't proven much other than good form, but I'm sure they will improve even more if Howe gets more budget to buy quality players.

Newcastle United has proven to be one of the Premier League-tough clubs this season because they have beaten Arsenal, and Chelsea in the Premier League and beaten Machester City and Manchester United in the EFL Cup respectively. It will only take Newcastle United a few years for people to see them as a serious top-four contender in the Premier League.

Arsenal bottled the chances they had last season and it was one of them best seasons since they last won the Premier League with Arsene Wenger who made history with the club during his time their with them. Arsenal though at the top was fun and interesting, we saw too many of them fans boasting when they've not won the Premier League already. They're more better last season then they're this season. They make some good significant signatures who've all been helping the club. They'll have to invest more and bring in two to three more if they're eager to win the Premier League. Arsenal aside, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have done well so far that doesn't count because it's consistency that matters.

It was an unforgettable season and how Arsenal competed with Manchester City was very interesting to watch. But all that momentum was lost after Arsenal experienced a storm of injuries and they lost one of the important players in the back line at that time, namely William Lintasa, who was injured until the end of the season. Arsenal's defense became weaker and easier for their opponents to penetrate, then Manchester City exploited this inconsistency to top the standings last season.

Well, celebrating early is sometimes not good because anything can still happen, especially for players who suffer injuries that are also unpredictable. I see that Liverpool is better prepared this time than last season for the title competition and for Spurs they must first fix the existing problems, especially since they are also going through a difficult time after several of their players were injured, so their strength is also slightly reduced.

This week Newcastle will host Man United at home and this will be an important match for both teams because if one loses then the standings will change. The chances of who will win the match may be a little difficult to predict because both of them will definitely play carefully and I think a draw is the most likely result.

But in the last two matches Newcastle United have been on fire, they won big against Chelsea and managed to hold PSG to a draw away from home in my opinion this is a good thing for the team and with a crippling injury list and an overwhelmed squad. But They play beautiful, simple football that is a joy to watch.

FYI, newcastle has been suffering two losses in a row and if you were also actively using X and there has been a fan who was complaining toward newcastle's players caused by it was always losing. That's why people called them was on the decline for now. They were saying based on the fact but glad to see that some key players were able recovering from their injury. I think we all agree that we are not getting the same kind of explosive performance that we expect from Newcastle United. It's pretty evident that they have been pretty consistent. But we are still in the early stages. So time is there for them. But the improvement will have to be quick.

Arsenal really lasted on the top of the table last season than any team and again this Season now they are on the top and l really believe in them if they can make it to the end of the year like they did last last season I have confident for them in win premier league title, Manchester city have dominanted Premier league for that last three seasons and if you can notice this competitor are very strong on like last season it was only Arsenal and this season they are many, even pep will notice a difference between this season and last season.

Yeah City have always been the title favourites but over the years other teams like Arsenal have also emerged as a tough contender for the title. United still lack that edge yet and Spurs also are growing that form so I think after a few years we will be watching more competititve PL. United will take time to be a title contender again and it is doubtful if they will be soon. It all depends on how clubs develops and manages their squad for the future and how they build their atmosphere inside the club. I agree with you that should not use two different competitions to compare a team competitiveness but I disagree with you that Arsenal will fail like how they did in the last season. They decide it, not you or me and Arsenal in this season are different than they were in the last season. Are they stronger or weaker than the last season?

At this moment, it is too early to say this but they generally have had good performances that give me thinking like they are improving and already becoming stronger.

match is still long and there are still many matches that will be played by the EPL teams and competitive competition will still take place between Arsenal and Man City to win the prestigious UCL title and the EPL title.
however, I agree with you that it is too early to speculate who will be successful in getting the title at the end of the season, while Arsenal is still quite consistent even though Man City is always the favorite, but Arteta as Arsenal coach will continue to put pressure on Man City not to be able to shift their position in the EPL.

comparing with other competitions does not really make sense because logically the performance will be different, such as Man City and Arsenal, maybe they will perform more optimally in the UCL and in the EPL they will perform with the existing strategy without having to spend too much energy but still be in safe position.

Meeting or no meeting, Man City and Arsenal will continue to be arch-rivals and no matter who wins in their meetings, they can't still judge who will be at the top of the table or who will lift the trophy among the two. In the EPL, both are wonderful this season, but one thing is that at times, they get to drop in performance and the other uses the opportunity to take the lead. You can see what happened before and after the World Cup last season, they were just switching the performance until Arsenal eventually degenerated to the point of conceding too many goals and couldn't win more matches which eventually gave Man City the advantage to win the league.

The same thing might still play out this season as they have started switching performances already, and I simply do not know why. Nonetheless, overall, I believe that Man City is more capable than Arsenal, and if they get back to their full feat, it would be difficult for any club to beat them, not even Arsenal. Also, about the UCL view, I believe the two of them are doing well even as Man City is doing better. In spite of that, the two are leading in their group and the battle continues, only that it's surer for Man City if we view it without sentiments.

I wouldn't want to go further than that, but all I know is that Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U could surprise anyone this season especially when they are determined and focused on the pitch.

Newcastle inconsistency this season is still understandable because many players have suffered injuries, and some have received sanctions such as Tonali. However, what is interesting about Eddie Howe current squad is the stability of their performance even though they are currently facing injury problems and sanctions. We have seen their match versus Chelsea and most recently against PSG, I think the mentality they have now is better than their opponent next week, namely, Manchester United. Chelsea were defeated, most recently PSG were forced to share points, and it is feared that United will also be embarrassed at St James Park.

St James Park is now increasingly haunted with big clubs being defeated there one by one, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG have felt it so far. It is very likely that in week 14 the Ten Hag squad will also feel the same way. Actually United is a big and elite club, but for some reason this season they seem to have lost their fangs, I personally find it very difficult to understand what is wrong with the Ten Hag squad.

I won't argue with what you've said, but I believe it's still too early to point to clubs that are more likely to win the Premier League this season. This happened last season when we thought Arsenal had already won the league, but when they started underperforming, it led to back-to-back defeats, they eventually lost the league title to Manchester City, their close rival at the time. Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal are currently the three most dominant teams in the Premier League, but we can't put all our hopes in them because we don't know which of them will fumble later and have a poor performance that will not make them not to be amongst the potential league contenders. Tottenham Hotspur was in the race too before but they are now out of the race because of their lack of inconsistency in the league games.

The odds currently available are at least Newcastle still the favorite team to win, and perhaps because of the home match factor, then make Newcastle has a better chance this match to win. But even so, I personally not completely sure that Newcastle will succeed in beating Manchester United in this match. Because yes, at least so far this season, the reality is that Manchester United is not too bad at all in away matches so far in the Premier League. But indeed, at the same time, the reality is that Newcastle also has a good record for home matches so far this season and yes, it doesn't seem wrong if I say a draw. Because after all, Manchester United and Newcastle also only have a gap of 1 point currently in the Premier League standings and with this factor, of course Manchester United will also try to maintain its position so as not to be overtaken by Newcastle.

Last season when Arsenal handed the top position to Manchester city during that time they worked so hard for nothing but  let's observe something here the Arsenal of that season has changed, in attack, defence, cooperation and they seem outstanding, any team they face it's either a draw or a win. When Arsenal played with Manchester city I didn't expect such performance for them because Manchester city is a strong team, another example Arsenal vs Chelsea most Arsenal fans has already lost all hope but they find a way to equalize. If I must say there's no doubt that Arsenal might likely win the premier league this season. I seriously don't know what's wrong with Tottenham they didn't performance well from their previous match with Aston Villa but it was a tough one for Aston Villa tho.

Arsenal haven't won a title in the Premier League for too long and I'm not sure if they still remember that. Not only Arsenal, Manchester United is also the same, although I admit that these two teams both fight to win the title in different seasons. So far only Manchester City are always more likely to win the title, they have held the title three times in a row and will probably defend it again this season.

Yeah City have always been the title favourites but over the years other teams like Arsenal have also emerged as a tough contender for the title. United still lack that edge yet and Spurs also are growing that form so I think after a few years we will be watching more competititve PL. United will take time to be a title contender again and it is doubtful if they will be soon. It all depends on how clubs develops and manages their squad for the future and how they build their atmosphere inside the club. Right now what Arsenal is doing is the right way to prepare a squad for a good future.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are other teams that can compete with Manchester City for the first place in the English league, but Manchester City is so solid and such a favorite that these teams need to do better every week without making mistakes if they want to compete with Manchester City. Arteta wants something that did not happen last year this season.

Arsenal, which has not been a champion for a long time, is fighting head to head with City again this season. Currently, Arsenal is first in the league with a one point difference.

Well they were building the squad and actually last season their target wasn't to win but to be in top 4 but still they did very good if you ask me in last season. I am glad that they managed to qualify for CL and I am happy with the results from last season. I think this season is a new challenge dealing with CL and PL games simultaneously. So far they are doing good job in CL and in PL also they are going strong but I feel that they have the calibre to go more strong. If they perform with more consistency I think they will be able to grow their difference on the table and this will be a huge advantage near the season end.
