Last week's match between Newcastle vs Manchester City is still an unforgettable one because the hosts were quite ahead but had to lose in injury time. It was all because Kevin De Bruyne came on in the second half and talked about one of the best midfielders in the world, so everyone hoped that he could turn things around for Manchester City to win. Kevin De Bruyne's entry was very influential and he was the key to Manchester City's victory through his goals and assists that night.



In fact, from various sources, Jurgen Kloop said that Kevin De Bruyne's return would shake a country and it was true that in the match against Newcastle, Kevin De Bruyne proved his talent and even though he had just recovered from injury, his performance still amazed everyone who watched. Manchester City's victory was not entirely Pep Guardiola's strategy and was purely the talent of Kevin De Bruyne who had the vision to see his teammate preparing to run to meet the ball and avoid being offside. That is a classy assist that only a few players have and Kevin De Bruyne is one of them.

I'm sure many people watched that match where we saw Newcastle playing defensively, almost all of their players were in the back line just to maintain their victory and frustrated Manchester City who had difficulty finding gaps to score an equalizer. 

I was disappointed at first because KDB wasn't played from the start of the match but in the second half KDB was only started by Guardiola, after he entered the field Manchester City's game changed and the Newcastle players started to space out openings so it was very easy for KDB to score goals and assists. in the final goal.

This is a match that I will never forget because KDB saved Manchester City and didn't lose, I understand more and more why Guardiola played KDB in the second half, apparently Guardiola didn't want to play him in full because of course Guardiola was careful because KDB was still in the healing process so he was worried about injury. again which will be detrimental to Manchester City, especially in the UCL later. This victory certainly made Kloop also worried that Liverpool could make mistakes in the next few matches so that it would allow Manchester City to overtake Liverpool at the top of the standings.

What I saw was that Man United played badly in this match, so it could be considered that they were very lucky to get a draw. If we look at the possession of the ball and how Tottenham really dominated the game, as if this was an away match for Man United, though we all know the match was held at Old Trafford. As a team, Man United doesn't have a good rhythm and they also look very sluggish on the pitch (only a few players seem to have a high fighting spirit : Hojlund, Garnacho, and Bruno Fernandes)

Manchester United had a strong opponent this week and of course a draw was very good for them. Tottenham this season, if compared with Manchester United, Tottenham is definitely much stronger than them. In this match, Tottenham performance was more impressive because they were able to balance their strengths at home to their opponents. I think Manchester united weakness is none other than because they didn't focus on playing more defensively when they took the lead early.

An additional 1 point from this match made Tottenham equalize their points tally with Arsenal. But Arsenal still has one game for week 21 so Arsenal has the opportunity to get away from tottenham pressure. Tottenham continues to put pressure on the top 4 ranked teams because if they fail to achieve maximum results then tottenham will take advantage of the opportunity to return to the top 4 rankings.

The result of Manchester United game against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday didn't sit well with majority of the fans of the home club as it has sparked series of reactions from most of them. To the home fans, they were of the opinion that Manchester United should've won the game convincingly which I think was a disrespect to Tottenham Hotspur and their efforts since the start of the season. Tottenham Hotspur was once at the top of the league and were the last team to lose a game in the English Premier League this season so playing out a draw against them shouldn't be seen as a bad result even when their top scorer Son Heung-Min didn't feature in the game.

Now that a lot of the fans of Manchester United are calling for the sack of Erik ten Hag because of his poor performance this season, I think it's safe to say that the manager have been poor and deserves to be sacked. Unless a new manager is brought to  manage the Manchester United team for the rest of the season, I don't think they'll finish the season in the top four of the league.

Manchester United was poor at them set pieces, Pedro Porro also had good delivery of the ball into the eighteen yard box. Both Jonny Evans and Andrea Onana couldn't at least save that hola scored. Poor marking poor goalkeeping from Onana.

Onana accepted to play two games in twenty-four hours and he has left for AFCON games now. He played as usual again which didn't make me surprised at all.    But ten Hag couldn't still rely on their backup goalkeepers in a big game like this. Because this game might have ended much worse for Manchester United then maybe.  

Now Manchester United are lucky that they won't have any game to play until February. In the meantime there is a chance for Onana to come back in case Cameroon say goodbye to AFCON early. Otherwise ten Hag will have to give a chance to one of the backup goalkeepers.

Man United's performance is difficult to predict, but most of them always play badly. Especially Onana's blunders, a ball that should have been easy to anticipate but instead he failed.
Likewise in the middle, Bruno did not have a significant impact. I wonder why ETH can give him the confidence to be team captain, even though there are still several players who are tracking to become captain and can make a difference.

In terms of Tottenham's game, they were better, they were just unlucky because of the 6 shots on goal only 2 resulted in goals.
Without Son's presence, it would have a very significant impact. Timo Werner making his debut with this assist is enough to prove that he can still compete in the EPL.

Manchester United is a complete example of an unstable team which unpredictable and I think predicting the Manchester United matches is the hardest thing in the Premier League because Ten Hag couldn't bring stability to his team even after months of working here. Manchester United had a good performance against Tottenham, Rasmus Højlund, and Marcus Rashford helped Manchester United to win this match and they got even the chance to beat Tottenham but even time Tottenham could score the goal to get the draw.

I think they lost their self-confidence and the lightness that they played their football with. Newcastle was a surprise team and now they were literally brought back down to earth when they lost the Champions League group stage like that. Only 5 points was a big disappointment for them. In my view Newcastle was the stronger team in both games against Dortmund and yet they ended up losing both of those games. They could now lose it all in a very short period of time if they fail to win against Fulham in the FA Cup. It is a game away from home and actually the last competition they have a chance to achieve something.

Eddie Howe and his team which have impressive start of the season into Premier League and Champions League lost their rhythm and now having one of the worst team into Premier League with having just one win from their last five games and conceded 11 goals which are surely not ideal for the team which is having best options but now all on bench due to long list of the injuries and suspension players.

Currently, they are having 2 wins from their last 10 games and now having next game against Fulham in London for the FA Cup and if they lost then surely things can go worst as after this game they are going to face Aston Villa for the Premier League, and this could be another poor result for them with their chances for the top ranks are going to be ended.

The consistency in Manchester United is absolutely questionable because the team has not yet done anything great to accord them with the huge honour. Not for this season. Manchester United have been so inconsistent with their fixturings and if not for the big team that they are, they will have fall below the lines more than they are currently at the table standing.

I will put the majority of the blame on the manager, Eric Ten Hag and the management too for allowing all the unnecessary internal wranglings from the beginning of the season till today. It caused the team not to be stable at all and all they were doing was more-or-less like a trial-by-error kind of game.

In a good number of matches, Manchester United have shown some positive levelling up in their performance and there is no doubt that even in the next few matches we will also be seeing the club either striving to make us more proud or to keep with the record which their already created before and for sure, many of their fans are already tired of Manchester united mismanagement crisis,  and this internal crisis in the club have to lead the club into what it is today and for that, we have seen that most of Manchester united winnings are now seen as based on luck and nothing more.
But also we know that,  in football, anything can happen and there is a high possibility that we may see them putting up a positive move that will change the face of the league if the odds of changing their back and good luck working for them.

In a club, it's not just improving that we have to look at, but we also have to look at how they can maintain their consistency in order to stay on the right track, and Manchester United under Erik Ten Hag have not been able to show that. I am surprised by this club, because when viewed from the players they have, they actually have a good squad, even some of them are considered as players who have high potential. Maybe we are familiar with players who have good performances, but after becoming Manchester United players they cannot show something that can make us believe in them more. Is it about comfort that ultimately makes them decline? or indeed this club has internal problems that have not been resolved until now. I don't know.

They have now successfully, for the first time in Premier League era, scored consecutively in 33 games. Credit goes to their manager Ange, who's philosophy works really well in the EPL. Well their's a new management on board controlling the footballing aspect of the club, and as we all know they'll likely do some clean up by letting some players they feel are not up to standards go, therefore this would build be morale of several players to pick up and impress the coach si as not to be kicked out of team, also the arrival of injures players into the training would also make some Snr players to sit up and try to fight for their place in the starting XI.

 However, I think this was a revenge match against what Tottenham did to them away from home at the beginning period of this season, well they tried to score an opener and made the game tough for Tottenham but were so unlucky to concede the 2nd goal which ended United victory, well they're improving and  they could find their way to a better spot if they keep up with consistency.

Once again they failed to win as hosts. But in the first half I thought Manchester United played quite well. But I want to highlight the accuracy of their passes which is not that good and is getting worse. I think they played below their maximum ability. Because if Manchester United players play above their maximum ability then they can actually play better than this. Even though I hope they can recover from the middle of the season like last season. Because last season Manchester United also rose in the middle of the season. But fortunately in this match they did not lose. A draw is still quite fair for this match. This situation will continue and Manchester United without progress they have not found a solution to the problem in defense I wouldn't be surprised if Manchester United finished outside the top 10 if they didn't bring in a defender. Fortunately, Manchester United is not alone because several other great teams have also experienced this, such as Newcastle and Chelsea but Chelsea are slowly starting to get back on track by winning 4 matches out of 5 matches, Ten Hag career may be decided this season if he fails he may be fired.

I am not sure if this is a problem with them taking the lead and then believing they can relax. I think they basically have a big problem to play a full game on a consistently high level. But I said this before, this is not a problem with the abilities of their players. They are good enough and in the strong times they can compete with everyone in the Premier League. But they do not work as a unit for the whole game. Several players have a decreasing performance during the same and then other players become weaker. It is like a chain reaction and they lose control. In most cases this gets punished.

It is a problem that ten Hag is responsible for and considering for how long there have been discussions about him, I think he has had enough time now to form a unit out of the players he has that is able to compete for the top four. But he failed to do that.

It seems that the change of coach at the start of this season, namely the presence of a new coach that Spurs had at the start of the season, has indeed erased everyone's worries about Spurs being left behind by H.Kane. At first I thought that Spurs without Kane would be weak in attack. But yeah I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this thought. There are definitely many people out there who also think that Spurs without Kane will suffer a setback in attack. But yeah I was wrong about this. And it turns out that currently Spurs are a quite productive club. H.Son was even able to become a reliable captain there. And maybe all this is thanks to their new coach, Ange Postecoglou. And it seems that making Ange Postecoglou the coach for Spurs is the best decision for this club. So losing Kane won't have much of an impact this season. And all this is also thanks to their new player, Maddison, who is able to play an important role in Spurs' attack line as an attacking midfielder.
