Everton and Nottingham Forest will reportedly face points deductions for violating the Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR) of the Premier League. I think this case is not the first time for Everton because last November they experienced almost the same thing and received a 10 point deduction. If they are proven to have violated this again, then they will definitely lose the points they have worked so hard to get so far.

If they are found guilty for the second time and given another potential 10 point deduction this late in the season, it will do them more harm than the early one they received in November. I'm amazed they broke so many rules, starting with overspending on their stadium reconstruction and now what FFP? I'm not shocked to see Nottingham Forest on the list. After all, this is a team that brought in nearly 25 new players last season, which was impossible to achieve without breaking the rules.

In any case, neither team will be missed. Everton fought and won the last two relegation battles, so maybe it's time to finally go to the championship. 10 points deduction each from both teams will see them occupy 20th and 19th on the table.

Obviously this is not what they want but if it is proven wrong then Everton and Nottingham must be prepared to accept the risk. Of course, this is detrimental because collecting points every week is difficult, especially against strong teams and we know that the EPL is like hell for mediocre teams. I think this violation is so serious that it makes the fate of Everton and Nottingham even more wide open towards the relegation zone and of course they will have even more difficulties with the remaining matches they will face.

It was too late and there was nothing they could do but accept this bitter reality. Maybe learning alone is not enough and they still want to repeat it again. Anyway, talking about this case, we must remember that Manchester City also has 115 charges and they are still completely untouched by the relevant parties, right?

I have no wordh to say but it seems like that there will be more clubs to be targeted by EPL to receive the sanction. Chelsea may also become the one of them who will be receiving its sanction soon.
Im not really happy with this but since it was final decision from EPL and we can do nothing to save it. Everton and nottingham forest need to push its performance to leave from the relegation zone. Im not doubting everton but i doubt about nottingham forest.
These clubs need to work even harder to make sure it will able to leave from relegation zone asap after those will receive their sanctions.

I think it is a move in a wrong direction for the FA to deduct 10 points from Everton at this point in time when the club is facing relegation battles, this will only dampen their confidence and also jeopardize everything they have worked for so far. Everton still has the right to an appeal though but if they lose the appeal then it would be very disastrous for them and may cost them their chances of escaping relegation so let's hope that everything goes in Everton's favour when the hearing for their appeal comes up.

That's the consequence if they don't obey the rules there was no way to avoid it if Everton had done it, Everton have narrowly avoided relegation after their struggles last month but unfortunately the problem is not over yet and clearly has an impact on the players' mentality, imagine if Everton deducted 10 points then they only have 7 points while this league only has 17 matches remaining meaning that Everton is definitely one of the candidates for relegation. Honestly, I think this is unfair and hope Everton can get past this however, I want to see Everton in the Premier League next season.

How can you call that as unfair. There was a reason anything. The main reason if everton has been violating the rules and that's it. Nottingham forest has been releasing official statement too which makes everything clear that if the club is now accepting it.

Manchester city has gotten the date for the hearing of all charges against city. It will become a disaster for manchester city. Chelsea may be targeted by EPL as well but i think that there were lots of clubs have been violating the rules.
The sanction has been also delaying the acquisition for everton. It will give bad impact to the club and probably the acquisition will be cancelled if everton will be going down to the lower division.

There are so many things are still remain unanswered till this time. We do know that there will be a lot of disappointed regarding this but EPL is just trying to be better. Manchester city needs to make a preparation for that.

I think City's current strength lies in Kevin de Bruyne and Haaland. These two players were key to City's game in achieving the treble winner last season. We could see at the start of the season when KDB was injured how City's game was below our expectations. So KDB's return is the good news that fans have been waiting for. Something that I would be more interested in is how these violations by Everton relate to any violations that the bigger clubs like Manchester City are being accused of. So far there really has never been a big penalty for any of those financial superpowers in the Premier League, but when you think about it I am actually rolling my eyes because I don't understand how they can successfully circumvent any of these sanction?

They are now hammering these smaller clubs and cause them to get relegated due to points deduction, and while there is nothing wrong with enforcing the rules, it still remains unanswered how other clubs are getting away with their violations. Are those violations just less significant or wasn't it possible to prove them? Manchester City has been under investigation all the time, but nothing serious ever happened.

This is what makes the EPL so unpredictable because no matter what happens in 90 minutes, small or big clubs always have problems that sometimes cannot be explained because clubs in the EPL are quite competitive.

Furthermore, for Everton, it can actually be said that this season they are better than the previous season because if only this season they did not get 10 penalty points for violations at this time they were already in the middle of the table but because they got a reduction of 10 points this season made them more often near the relegation zone and 1 line higher than the bottom 3 clubs.

But the draw against Aston Villa was still valuable for them. However, there are now a couple of games which is again against Tottenham and Manchester City in the next three weeks, but afterwards the quality of their opponents will be a bit lower. But as we just said here, no game is an easy game no matter who the opponent is. But I think they are still set up well enough to stay in the Premier League and not get relegated. But none of the team and the bottom of the table can be written off yet, except for Sheffield, which now slowly looks more hopeless than the other teams.

Looking at the schedule that Everton will face for the next few weeks, it looks like this will be a problem for them, because the opponents they will face can be said to be currently performing above Everton.



Big names like Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United (although Manchester United are currently still like clowns ) they could have lost points on the other hand, Brighton and West ham are also still suitable to be said as dark horses even though Brighton is not as violent as last season but they can still make a breakthrough in the end. This is a heavy blow for Everton because they have violated the rules that have been set so they have to carry out this punishment after experiencing huge losses due to breaking the rules they have to receive an even more severe punishment. I think maybe this season Everton will end the relegation zone if the second punishment really happens before this season ends.

I mean they already got punished, and they are already not doing well, I am sensing that they will relegate anyway, so if they get punished more and more, that would not be an issue. I think even more important thing is that if they do get punished, then we are talking about not getting punished next year, that should be something that will end up with something such as "at least next year is fine".

The team was not doing much better compared to now that he is back, so I think it will also happen if Halaand is not present, and they may find it difficult to go back to the top in the standings.

Previously, Everton had received a 10 point deduction and fell into the relegation zone, but slowly they were able to get up and get out of the relegation zone like they are now, so If the FA does the same thing for the second time, I'm not sure if Everton can get back up, now Everton has been accused of violating financial rules regarding the club loss threshold, despite the club now an appeal has been submitted but it seems very difficult to fight against the federation, so I think is very likely that the charges will make Everton relegated, apart from Everton, it turns out that Nottingham Forest also suffers the same fate as Everton, namely being threatened getting points deductions, so far I think the FA looks unfair when they seem to continue to investigate  medium teams without wanting to try to do the same for Chelsea and Manchester City who are also rumored to have committed financial violations all this time.
