This will be a bad blow to Everton performance this season because if a second penalty is imposed (deduction of 10) for Everton this season of course they will drop into the relegation zone. Moreover, Everton recent performance has not improved much, of course it will really affect the mentality of Dyche men if they are proven guilty and are sentenced to a point deduction again. Previously, there was a lot of news circulating that Manchester City also violated many rules, but only Everton were sanctioned this season. I think the authorities in the Premier League don't have enough strong evidence to impose punishment on Manchester City.

But for the time being, the second punishment for Everton has not yet been proven strongly if they violated financial regulations and is still under investigation. I hope Everton can escape accusations of violations because Everton is a team with many good players this season so they will be able to turn things around to improve their ranking if these accusations are not proven later. Apart from that, in today's match Everton performed well by winning the match against Crystal Palace with a score of 1-0. In this match Everton did not appear too impressive but they were able to maintain their advantage through the goal scored by Gomes.

Indeed it would be a very big blow for them, cause they've been working really hard to come out of the relegation zone due to the 1st points deduction and currently they're to face another one,  this could really weaken the morale of some players to give up already cause Everton is not a top team that could fight or have a  very good squad like City that could still manage to finish top 10 even though they get 20points deduction, they're an average team in the EPL still trying to grow up and this is a big problem for them.

 Well their prayers should be that even if the rumors of a second deduction is true, then it would be deducted next season and not this, cause I don't think Everton would escape relegation if they get 10 points deducted from them. Well all hope ain't lost yet and I sincerely hope they get out if this FFP issues, so as to allow the team focus on their target currently which is avoiding relegation.

I think Arsenal are well placed to challenge for the EPL title again this season but are once again in need of reinforcements. Right now, they are in desperate need of attacking recruits after a poor run of form that has seen their EPL title challenge stutter.
Somehow I don’t really know if the team isn’t firing or it’s the inefficiency of their strikers, but they played last season and it wasn’t dependent on a striker bagging in goals but spread across the team and that was why they had the most goal scorers in a team. I don’t really understand why they haven’t been replicating that form of last season. Whatever they switched to this season has affected their efficiency.

Arsenal will have the same fate as last season where they will be overwhelmed to secure their best ranking until the end of the competition. Arsenal performance is sometimes quite good but they lack consistency which makes them fail to get points. What happens to arsenal will really benefit other teams because they can overtake them to win the title this season.

If Arteta doesn't deal with it soon I think liverpool or Manchester city will be champions this season. Crystal palace could stop Arsenal progress in the next match if Arsenal cannot make better changes to their game. Yes, their opponent's side is quite weak, but if you look at Arsenal recently, of course they have big problems in their game.

Earlier Arsenal did looked like they were well prepared and positioned to win the premiere league this season, they did performed impressively that at some point without out much doubt we would believe that arsenal have got very good chance at winning the premier league this season.

Currently it's seeming like a repetition of what happened last season where they were very much closed to winning the premier league and they had a set back and Manchester city took advantage and won the League, so this season they got the confidence and we're thinking they will be able to get pass where they did stopped last season but now unfortunately for them they are down with several set back and Lossing of points they may end up in the top four again this season.

Arsenal always continue to make their supporters sad by doing this. I don't know maybe having a really young team is also a factor but still they should be able to do better than this normally. Arteta will need to work more on this problem to fix it as much as possible. Otherwise we will probably see them out of the title race before even the final weeks of the season. 

I really want to see Arsenal winning the league title but they can't do it like this. Manchester City and Liverpool have a much bigger potential at the moment. For now I believe one of them will make it too but hopefully it can be Liverpool to see a different champion this season.

I feel like this is the best chance for Mikel Arteta to win the Premier League Competition, they fail to do it this season and they'll never go near winning it again in the next ten years and seasons to come.
If they want to win the Premier League, they know what they be lacking and know how to get whatever they want. They're only been reluctant. I hate the late hunt for players they won't probably get. These are the various positions they'll be needing;

A Central Forward
A New Midfielder
And  Lastly, A Defender.
 
They've been linked with a six months loan move for Karim Benzema already, don't know if this Gon ever happen. Concerns over the midfielder not talked about so much, but I've seen them games very this season and I feel like they need a mode energetic player to be right in front of Declan Rice.
Would Jurim Timber be returning? If Yes!! Then they won't be needing a new defender.

Arsenal mistakes are still the same as last season when they always lost consistently towards the end of the season but instead Arsenal swallowed the bitter pill 2 defeats made Man City succeed in overthrowing Arsenal and holding the title last season.
and currently Arsenal is repeating the same mistake when at the start of the season they looked consistent, they were at the top of the standings, finally they lost their consistency and dropped to 4th place and were replaced by Liverpool, which currently looks more consistent, but I never expected Liverpool to get the EPL title this season because the facts say that KDB and Haaland will soon return to make a strong contribution for Man City.

For anyone, this punishment is certainly a very heavy punishment for the club that received sanctions. Everton received a point deduction in November and this affected their mentality, but in the end they recovered and managed to get out of the relegation zone, but apparently they got bad news. for the second time in one season and if that really happens I think the players' mental state will decline further and it is very likely that they will not be able to get out of the relegation zone in conditions like that.

Yes, hopefully this punishment will happen next season, not this season, so that Everton still has the opportunity to continue playing in the Premier League and next season they will start preparing to play better even though they have to carry out the point deduction penalty, because after all, as you said, they are just an ordinary club. This season, Everton will experience the same thing; being docked ten points is not a joke; 10 points is not equivalent to 1 to 5 points, as they will be told if they win more games. This will be very unfortunate for Everton, as they were maintaining a strong position prior to this happening to them.

As a result, winning a lot of games is the only thing Everton can do to get out of the relegation zone. However, I can't help but wonder if Everton can perform well enough to avoid relegation.  I simply have my doubts about Everton's ability to play well. Arsenal were too confident and forgot that below them there was Manchester City who were waiting for an opportunity to move to the top of the standings and it seemed that when Arsenal made mistake they fell and Manchester City took advantage of this opportunity very well.
But for this season, there is actually still a chance for Arsenal to improve their standings, but it will be very difficult if they want to win the title because what you said is true is that the competition is getting tougher with the increasing performance of Liverpool and Manchester City in collecting points.

Manchester city and Liverpool are the most consistent teams currently but I don’t think we should write off Arsenal because they have lost just 2 consecutive games. The season is still young and anything can happen. We saw how Arsenal were on top of the league table for a very long period of time last season, that everybody thought they were going to be crowned champions. But so many things can go wrong in the game of sports; injuries, suspensions and point deductions.

Injury to key players might affect the overall performance of a team and it was evident in this Manchester city team as they were dropping points without their star men.
It’s very possible that any of these teams will drop points before the end of the season and Arsenal will get their way back to the top.

It will be very unfortunate for Everton if they get relegated this season as a result of point deduction from their points. They have been a struggling club that always fight to remain in the premier league despite having indications of being relegated, that alone I respect about them a lot. Without the point deduction they faces earlier, they would have been in a better position in the standings than many of the clubs in the league. But unfortunately, it is their cross and they have to bear it by themselves.

Agree. We still remembered Everton always finished the season in the top 10 in 2016-2019. It means Everton was a quite strong team. Also, there were many top players from Everton, one of them Wayne Rooney. He was from Everton academy. So, this team has good quality and they contributed for improving EPL by growing potential players from young ages. It is very unfortunate if they are no longer in EPL for the next season.

However, I still believe that Everton can stay away from the relegation zone. The season is still long enough, there are many remaining matches. So, Everton still has the chance to get points in the next matches if they can improve their performance. Considering their current points, I hope Everton can finish the season in the top 15th at least. Personally, I think Everton deserves to finish in a better position than Crystal Palace and Nottm Forest.


By the way, I can't believe Brentford is nearing the relegation zone, too. In the last season, this team finished in the top 10. How can they decrease their performance so much now?

It was very disappointing, and yes why Everton lost points continuously, before I didn't really know why they were deducted points, was it because of problems with profitability and advanced rules, I didn't understand what exactly was done in detail, and I was also so unfamiliar with the rules in the primary league that could make the team get sanctions or point deductions.

Just now they got the light to be a little safer in the premier league, if they get another point deduction then they will lose that opportunity with their strength which is quite stagnant, yes most likely they will be very difficult to get out of the relegation zone.

Arsenal main problem is a striker, they need a reliable striker that can guarantee them twenty plus goals a season not like Jesus and Nketiah that cannot even score up to fifteen goals a season; although their wingers are scoring goals, and their midfielders as well, but the entire team need to take the same mentality they had last season because they were on a very high form and they come close to winning the league last season.

They also have the chance to keep their title challenge if they were able comeback strong after their poor performances in their last two Premier League matches because they misuse their chances of going on top of the League, but not as expected, they were not able to win these matches, but if they go some winning streak, they can regain their balance and still stand chance to win the League this season.

Arsenal should be gets new striker indeed and this is one of the most important weaknesses Arsenal have because since last season they have not had a sharp striker but although this winter Arsenal was linked to several strikers just like Ivan Toney from Brentford and Bologna player Joshua Zirkzee but recently Arteta has been confirmed that Arsenal will not buy a new player this winter because the financial condition of Arsenal which make this team will not able to bought a player moreover recently Arsenal have a plan will permanent David Raya status and besides that last summer Arteta have already to spend approximatelly 200 millions for players transfer

Arteta says he will attempts to maximize the potential of the current players which mean if his statement is true then Arsenal is really playing without new striker until end of season then he will do the same formation with 4-3-3 formation and used Gabriel Jesus, Nketiah or Kai Havertz as centre striker for each matches and for upcoming match Arsenal will fight against Crystal Palace and this is good chance to bounce back and collect 3 points from this match considering Crystal Palace condition also doesn't really good

Like I said in another thread, it's not over until it's finally over and done.

Why look down on a club or team? No good reason, they're doing well they would just need to get players to help boost them performance more and more. The attack is number one priority and should be taken very serious. Ivan Toney, Karim Benzema and Serhou Guirassy are amongst names they could possibly get!

About last season, they lacked depth, Thomas Partey got Injured and Bukalo Saka dropped form when Arsenal squad needed him most.
Sad to see how they dropped and lost,  especially the game drawn against Southampton.
Right from the start of the Premier League Competition, I've always stood beside Gunner's to finally win them first Premier League Competition since 2004. Nothing much to say, next six months though.
