In simple terms, the competitive level of the Premier League makes all clubs very vulnerable to losing points, I agree with this statement and of course it is not only Arsenal that experiences this situation. There is no guarantee that the team challenging for the title will continue to win, be able to beat other contestants, and sweep all remaining matches in the future. There have been many surprises this season, and we have also seen several title-fighting clubs experience ups and downs in their performance. Arsenal, who have just won a big win over Crystal Palace, could be tripped up by Nottingham Forest in the future, this is an illustration of how competitive the League is. However, in my opinion, this victory is a signal that Arsenal is ready to attack Liverpool and Man City in the second half of the season.

Week 21 has 3 matches yet to be played, and one of the most interesting is the match between Liverpool and Bournemouth. However, when these two teams have no chance of winning the EPL trophy, they will make themselves a stumbling block for the favorite team, I'm very sure of that. We will see how the Reds finish their match today, on paper they are much better, but underestimating Bournemouth is wrong.

As you said, the clubs currently ranked in the top 5 are quite lucky because Chelsea and Man United are not in the hunt this season because of their inconsistent performance this season. And don't forget that Newcastle this season also experienced setbacks like Man United and Chelsea. It's just that Aston Villa is surprisingly involved in the hunt this season.

But with around 17 matches remaining, it does not rule out the possibility that all the teams ranked in the top 5 will be able to maintain their consistency for the remainder of this season. Because it could be that Man United, like last season, suddenly continues to get positive results in the remaining games at the end of the season and suddenly rises to 3rd place like last season. Currently Newcastle and Chelsea are also struggling to overcome their performance which has not improved. But they will definitely improve at some point, be it this season or the next season.

Every English league match is very interesting and I admit I know more about the names of football players in the EPL than in other leagues. But even so, Arsenal still has a chance to win the title because they are only 2 points away from the top of the standings. The top 5 positions can still change because there is not that much difference in points.

If I'm not wrong Manchester City can take the lead from Liverpool if they manage to win their missing game. Manchester City will probably win that game which is Brentford as well. But until then they have to keep the point gap like this at worst. Maybe they can get ahead earlier as well in Salah's absence for Liverpool but we will see.

In short Liverpool must be fully aware of the big threat behind. In the meantime I'm curious about Arsenal too. Do you think they can rejoin the title competition? I really can't be sure of them because of the highly inconsistencies they have every season.  

Brentford just recently saw Ivan Toney who was absent for over two hundred plus days returning and also scoring a beautiful freekick against Nothingham Forest yesterday.
Believe me it won't be one easy game for Manchester City. But, we'll see how it finally goes. Pep Guardiola's manchester City are weapons of destruction they're not one easy side to play.

Liverpool and Klopp knows the challenges that's ahead of em in the Premier League, it's with they go hard or go down below in the Premier League standing.
West Ham United for the win today? No! They don't have lot of players, they'll definitely lose three points.

West Ham have played three games in the new year without a win. Sheffield United could use home advantage to take advantage of West Ham's injury problems and their recent poor form. Sheffield United's recent win over Gillingham in the FA Cup will boost their confidence. West Ham, on the other hand, are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games, looking to bounce back from their FA Cup disappointment. However, I feel the match will be a high scoring match as both teams can score multiples. West Ham are ahead on paper but I'm not putting Sheffield United behind, they could share the points.

I think there will be no enormous gap between both of clubs in the game. FA cup has become the match that proves that if the quality of club meant nothing. Westham was only able using the average player, but it's now facing a stronger club than the club who has beaten westham in FA cup.
This may be a horrible thing for westham caused by it must be facing sheffield. While Sheffield may have seemed like a weak club, it is important to recognize that they possessed enough strength to triumph over West.

Westham was not ahead on paper if the club keep use the garbage line up like the previous match. This is my primary concern regarding this. Anything is still possible for westham. It can win or lose against it.

Imagine how boring it would be if the same teams could claim the top 5 every season. Sometimes teams attract sponsors, find funding and get the opportunity to become more competitive in the championship. Chelsea and Manchester United are in a protracted crisis, it’s hard to say that they do not have sufficient funding, there is something else there, in the case of Manchester United, I believe that the reason there is that the club is trying to find some kind of alternative to the coach, when they just need to hire the best of the best. Chelsea at one point did the same thing, and now they need to strengthen the team, but instead they are not trying to achieve results with the players they have.

West Ham United recent decline in performance is not a good sign for the team. They started the season well but underperformed in their recent matches in the FA Cup. They have not won any match since the beginning of the new year and are currently in sixth position in the standings and maintaining a total of 34 points after playing 20 games. There’s no much point difference in points between them and Chelsea who are currently on 9th position. Any defeat for West Ham United in the league games will have them sent downward more on the standings. They need to adjust their game and get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Arsenal has the chance to still win the English premier league even though they’ve messed up several opportunities in the past to be on top of the league standings. I can see that they want to get back to their winning ways to maintain a position in the top spot. I hope they can have a lasting solution to their inconsistency this time around. The league has gone far but it hasn’t reached the point that they’ll lose hope and can’t make it to the top spot again. Consistent win matters here and if they can do that, they won’t have problem reclaiming their first position if any of the team in the top spot also lose some points. Premier League is very competitive and unpredictable and that’s why it is the best league in the world to watch.

This is what makes the EPL the strongest and most competitive league because the competition between teams in the EPL is very difficult, every EPL team cannot be underestimated when taking part in the UCL and UEL competitions because the performance of the EPL teams is greater than other leagues so the EPL teams really feared by any team from another league.
The competition between the top 5 teams is still very tight right now because the difference in points is not too far and each of the top 5 teams each has the same big chance. Especially Arsenal, which is still a lot of people's talk because last season they failed to break defending champions Man City, but this season Arsenal is still trying hard at the top of the standings and is competing fiercely with Liverpool and Man City in the race for the title for the team that can maintain its consistency is the one that deserves to wins the EPL title this season.

I also see that the victory against Crystal Palace means Arsenal is now back on the winning track. Thanks to this victory, Arsenal can at least build positive momentum to continue advancing in the competition to win the Premier League this season. Moreover, thanks to this victory, Arsenal has now moved up to third place in the standings. They are now only two points away from Liverpool who are at the top of the standings.

New weekend, new opportunities. I am a bit interesting in Sheffield Utd - West Ham to play a straight 2 (West Ham as winners) to 2.3 odd but a bit scared for the draw. I don't think Sheffield will win, but I also think West Ham isn't as good as the table show's even tho they been amazing lately in PL against the top teams, but so often after a good run like that a plumb often comes and Kudus is away but I don't think it will be a huge impact.
Anyone with some ideas here? I would love to play a straight 2 to 2.3 odd.. but the draw is making me afraid.

What i know is that, untill the league is over no one can be certain of which that is going to win the EPL title. There are lots of matches to be played and teams that are in top 5 in the EPL table currently will win, draw or lose in the matches left. This is one feature i love about the EPL competition there is nothing like semi final, quarter final or final to play. Its been calculated based on the points level and if para venture both team have the same EPL points they will chose the winner based on who has the highest goal.

Very interesting league to watch  if you are a football lover. Also the matches in the EPL are sometimes easily to prdict because there are teams who have consistently good performance so if you play them to win they probably would win.

Winning from Sheffield United would give West Ham United a nice buffer in 6th to United behind and move West Ham closer to Spurs.
With the way results have gone for last weekend and this, the 3pts is all that matters.
And I hope Moyes does not play the same starting 11 as he did at Bristol.

Manchester City are certainly very happy to hear this news and hope that Mohammed Salah will be absent for quite a long time. They can more easily take advantage of Liverpool's current situation and at any time can displace Liverpool at the top of the standings. De Bruyne's return is an improvement in performance for Manchester City and the absence of Mohammed Salah will be a disaster for Liverpool.

Salah's predicted injury is a hamstring injury. I think it won't be too serious. In the short term, the Egyptian team will be directly affected if Salah is absent. As for Liverpool, their schedule this January is not too heavy, they only have to play one match in the Premier League against Bournemouth.

Even relegation battling teams cannot be underrated especially at this stage of the league because they always play with full strength and zeal that is why I always agreed that premier league matches are always tough, lower and mid table clubs are always not easy to play against especially when they play top teams even Man City had lost some few of their matches to those clubs this season likewise Arsenal and Chelsea. Meanwhile Arsenal convincing win against Crystal Palace yesterday had relaunch their title bid once again I think from now on till the end of the season it going to be battle of the top teams even Aston Villa are pushing forward towards  challenging those top teams I believe there is going be a competitive matches ahead in EPL.

Just as someone said above, " No Kudus, No Party " and I'll come to agreement with whoever made that statement, he has been a vital player for them in the midfied against Manchester United and also against Arsenal. His absence hurts, but what can the hammers do about it?
Asides him, they're missing out on Lucas Paqueta who also got out Injured. Them both players had a good combination in midfied and lacking them both means difficulty today just as they had against Bolton.

It should be a win for Sheffield United. I'm rooting for em. They maybe occupants of the last six but they've got this and they can do it again. This is a game I want em to win.

This season, the Premier League has even become more competitive than last season. Just look at the points earned between ranks 2,3 and 4. They all have the same number of points, namely 43 points. The only difference is that Man City has only competed in 20 matches, so Man City can have more points than the teams ranked 2nd and 3rd which have competed in 21 matches.

Spurs, who are in 5th place, have a number of points that is not much different, namely 40 points and this also allows for rapid changes in the standings in the top 5. So every team currently cannot afford to lose even 1 point if they want to remain in the current ranking.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Newcastle still seem to be slumped in 9th and 10th place.

But this does prove that the Premier League is on a different level from other football competitions. And yes, I also know more names of players from the EPL.

Of course, we can see changes in the top ranks because the quality of the league is so high that even teams that are close to relegation can get points from the big teams. This suddenly changes the fate of the entire league. Arsenal still has the chance to win the title. They played one more match and their points are in good shape. If Liverpool and Manchester City drop points, Arsenal can get into the pot again.

The match was no less exciting between Brentford vs Nottingham because a total of 5 goals were scored in this match and Brentford was able to win with a dramatic 3-2 lead. Continuing into the second half, the match was still fierce and both teams returned goals again until Brentford finally scored the winning goal in the 68th minute through Maupay. This victory made Brentford move up to 14th in the standings and they are quite safe from the relegation zone. Well, the thing to watch out for from Brentford is the return of Ivan Toney and as a striker he is a player to watch out for this season.

I looked, Bournemouth had a very impressive winning streak, and apart from the last defeat to Tottenham, they look very cool, so it might not be easy for Liverpool today.

Not a bad analysis. I am more worried for the draw tho. But I can see you know what you talking about, but i don't think they will be so much badder now then before without Kudus and Paqueta, they still got a good chance.

Liverpool be benching alright. Very good squad depth has helped Liverpool get more impact subs in their games. This is the graph of substitute goal involvement and they are just off the charts when compared to others. Having good squad depth is crucial for doing well in the EPL in the long run. Spurs had decent bench players as well, but almost 10 players are out injured for their team. So much so that they had to list 3 substitute goalkeepers in one game, just to fill the squad sheet. Hard times. Surprisingly, Aston Villa are up there as well. which is a good sign for them, in the long run.
