Manchester City seems to be playing much better with Kevin De Bruyne returning to the team after recovering from an injury. With just 16 remaining games left for Manchester City to play in this season, the return of Kevin De Bruyne are definitely a huge boost to the team overall attacking power.

De Bruyne is indeed able to move Man City's attack line to be better than when he was not there. So when he is on the field, the flow of attacks built by Man City seems to be better than before. Currently Haaland has also returned to playing. But he seems to need time to adapt again after he was absent for several weeks due to injury.

The chance to bounce back is obviously big for city. It's matter of time till city will take the first place again. Even though city was not leading the game but the winning mentality made manchester city played the game so persistently. I do see that how city like gets back its spirit after de bruyne and haaland were joining in the main squad again. It should be 4 goals for city if haaland was not missing his shoot. City's defender was making a small blunder that cost the club cleansheet. Im not seeing it as a serious propblem caused by city could still get three points.
Brentford was always trying to do pressure through long ball. After the first goal happened and city knew how to play to prevent the long ball from brentford. Brentford was not pressing city really well through long ball.


The firsg goal was obviously a mistake from the defenders caused by i see that how the defenders was miscalculating the ball. I see that moments if the defenders were struggling but the situation becomes better when foden was scoring the first goal to equalize the score.
The brentford players were actually isolated in the second half. I do like the way city is playing the ball right now. It was building from the back but it's still very consistent in attacking and defending.

From the look of what is happening currently in EPL, it is obvious that Manchester city will top the league again, after they lost the first position to Arsenal due to De Bruyne injury. I don't know if there are many reasons why Liverpool lost whether Klopp was wrong in implementing the strategy or Arsenal were playing too confidently what is clear is that Liverpool played badly today I didn't see any cohesiveness and teamwork there and there was a deadlock in the attack. There are also those who say it is only unlucky day for Liverpool because it's really strange to see Liverpool playing like that. On the other hand Manchester City must be happy with Liverpool defeat and in the near future they will take over the standings.
