Do you realize that both Liverpool and Arsenal have played more games than Manchester city? Liverpool is just ahead of City with just a two points different. Man city has outstanding game at hand and if they play the game now and win, they will be ahead of Liverpool with a point. Currently, they have the same points with Arsenal but goal difference put them ahead of them in the table. With the recovery of De Bruyne into the squad, we may witness some classic display in their remaining games. I still have trust in Pep that he deliver the premier league to Manchester city once again. As long as Pep Guardiola is in England, they will trophy will not go far from Etihad. It won't be surprising if Manchester city win the title again this season because they are working for it as they always did and it is deserving.

After I saw the premier league table and the points and standing of each team, I just believe that this premier league is still going to go to the hands of Manchester City. With the outstanding match at hand for them now, I feel very confident that they’re going to win that match and top the premier league table. Once they’re able to get to the top of the table at this stage in the premier league, it is just like they’ve already won the league title because they cannot be easily displaced from that position again. With all their top players back from injury, I don’t think Manchester City can be beaten so easily in their remaining matches left to be played in the premier league.

Foden is one of biggest surprise in Premier League as only some years ago, he fell behind Jadon Sancho but after the transfer of Sancho from Dortmund to Manchester United, things changed. Two talented players have big drifts in their career, Sancho is down and Foden is up. Foden has many good skills, speed, dribbling, passing and can finishing very well too. Under Pep's management, Foden was enlightened and his career changed a lot.

Foden has been a very reliable and great player for Manchester City and Pep, he has shown an outstanding performance in their last few matches especially the last one against Brentford. He is already getting himself as a long term project for his team Manchester City and also securing a place in his country side. I feel very confident in this player and I think he will make a complete squad for Manchester City as he continues to be utilised for his expertise.

Are you sure, what if Manchester City is unable to win the remaining matches that have not been played? Something that hasn't been played yet can't confirm the result, maybe Manchester City will lose points in that match, of course Liverpool will still be in first place.
This is not a setting from FIFA, Manchester City has just won the Champions League. There will be additional match schedules that Manchester City have to play, such as having to appear in the Club World Cup which means they have to postpone their matches in the EPL.

I'm a Liverpool fan and as a Liverpool fan and someone who recognizes the strength of Manchester City, I would say that Manchester City now has a great chance of becoming champions, I highly doubt that Manchester City will lose points playing against small teams. but manchester city will have very difficult games ahead, I'm talking about games against liverpool, games against arsenal, game against tottenham, game against aston villa, game against manchester united. To give you an idea, next month Manchester City's first game will be against Manchester United. despite Manchester United being a team with unstable performance and Manchester City being a team with a great performance, I think that Manchester United could still get a draw, although Manchester City is a very strong team

next month after manchester city plays against manchester united, they will play against liverpool, which in my opinion will be a good opportunity for liverpool to win and be able to stay at the top, if liverpool loses in the game against manchester city next month, so I see zero chances of Liverpool becoming champions, and after the game against Liverpool, Manchester City will play against Arsenal, in this game against Arsenal, if Manchester City loses while they beat Liverpool, they would still have a chance to win the Premiership league, but if arsenal manages to beat manchester city while manchester city lost in the game against liverpool then liverpool and arsenal's chances of becoming champions will be greater. This means that next month will be decisive for Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City

Manchester City will win that game, their confidence is high, and most of their key players have returned back. Before Manchester City will loose a game, it will take a really strong and disciplined team with a tactical manager. Arsenal maybe may be able to defeat them again, but it will be harder this time with De Bruyne back to the team and already resettling in. Football is not always predictable, maybe one small team may just win Manchester City, but without the factor of the probability of something happening, Manchester City will win the premier league title again.

I don't see Arsenal been able to defeat them again, not this time with their current form where they now have all their top players present and playing, the current form of Manchester city is much better than it was when they first met Arsenal this season a d trust gaurdiola to not use the same approach but a better and improved tactics.

I think if it by comparison of strength, depth and form then currently there will be almost no team who will be able to win Manchester city in the premier league this season but they I think with Liverpool there's a better chance than with Arsenal even if Arsenal did won Liverpool recently making it look like they have a better form and strength thank Liverpool, I still don't esteem them that high enough above Liverpool yet and that's why I see Liverpool as a better opponent against Manchester city than I would with Arsenal.

Guardiola is curse with winning mentality and I have not seen any manager that comes close to how he won matches even when you don't expect them to win. Brentford was the home team and I expected some extra pressure from them and that's what they used to get lead from Manchester City in the early time of the match but nobody expected Foden to score because as a midfielder, he was going to support like Kevin Debruyne but he instead received same support from Kevin and Haaland.

It's safe to say that they are going to win their next match against Everton since they are coming to Etihad and Everton aren't in good performance to win City team and when the win this, that will send them straight to top of the table and if they do that, these Manchester City aren't going to live that place till the end of the season.

But at least Chelsea can give Pochettino the opportunity to close out this season and not fire him before this season's work ends. Chelsea's image will get worse in the eyes of fans if they frequently change coaches and they should give their current coach more time for the process. Pochettino is a good coach, but if you look at the overhaul of the Chelsea squad that has occurred since last season, it certainly won't be easy to build.

Chelsea really doesn't have the slightest chance of breaking into the European zone this season and maybe when everything is arranged properly next season will be a proving ground for Pochettino to do his job better. But as you said, if Pochettino still fails next season, of course his fate will be threatened and Chelsea will definitely look for a replacement before the same result happens again.

   I think the Pochettino side is still trying to get their rhythm, they look like a very solid team once they start to understand their self, this is just the first season these boys are playing with thier selves with time I feel like they can catch up,  they are young and vibrant players who just need time to blend in. Sacking their coach will be a very bad idea because the team/management bought these player for the long run.  So should the coach be given time to prepare the minds of these young players. We all saw what Pochettino did at Spurs, he turned those average players into a  fearful team. They were just so unlucky in winning trophies, during his stay at spurs, he was always making sure they were at the European competitions. So I believe with time this Chelsea side will come back to their winning ways.  This season is almost done, they should work on how to get into European competition next season cause this season hasn’t been good enough for them.
    We should not forget that, every club has in one way or the other been in this position Chelsea is at some point,  Liverpool suffered this, Arsenal, City, and even some top teams in Europe have been in this situation before, they work their way to be being the unstoppable they use to be. It no lie that they are qualities in the Chelsea side, the management shouldn't ruin the process just because of some poor performance. Give the manager time to blend this boys together when he can’t do this, then they should think of displacing him.

A condition that Pep Guardiola and even any manager wants, where they want a complete squad to face a busy match schedule. Luckily, Halaand was able to be available again at the right time, before the round of 16 in the UCL resumed, and he was able to restore his sharpness in two EPL matches first, before doing it again in the UCL. Pep is certainly very happy with the current situation, he has several options for rotating his players, and makes it easier for him to experiment in determining the starting XI.

However, having a complete squad does not guarantee that Pep can bring Man City to a trophy like last season, many things have changed and the challenges this season have also changed. The strength of other clubs is something that needs to be paid attention to, it doesn't necessarily mean that the presence of De Bruyne and Halaand can make all challenges easier, City have lost several times surprisingly, and I admit that Pep can make City create a turning point in performance very quickly. The second half of the season is still very long in the EPL, and City journey in the UCL is still very far away, I'm also curious about how they end this season.

He's one of the best active managers but it's not like he stand alone when it comes to strategies on winning. There are also other capable managers like Klopp who could win the Premier League with that Man City money and players.

IMO it is not a problem because looking at the current schedule Manchester City still has 1 match left so the 2 points for the Gap between Liverpool and Manchester City now could have been lost if Manchester City could give their best in their remaining 1 match.

It seems like to be like that. If we are looking at the schedules of Man City matches, there will be 2 matches before the remaining match against Brentford.
- Man City vs Everton on Feb 10
- Man City vs Chelsea on Feb 17
- Man City vs Brentford on Feb 20
If Man City can win all those three matches, it is surely that the first place will be taken over. Moreover if Liverpool is beaten during the three matches later.
In this case, Man City's chance to take over the first place is exactly high as long as they can really optimize the chance. The most difficult match may be probably when against Chelsea, but I really believe that man City will win the match.

I thought the same thing when I watched the game. Mark Flekken stood alone against Manchester City. He also assisted on Brentford's goal. If Brentford had kept the score, he would definitely have been man of the match. Still, we can say he played one of the best games of his career. I'm sure everyone will remember him for this game even after his career is over. However, the man of the match was Phil Foden who scored a hatrick.

Without disputing the professionalism of Pep, I would have liked to have him manage a smaller team and see how he fairs. Like, I'm so into the guy, his mentioned how his been able to transfer that unto his players, like you can't come to the Manchester City team and not have that requirement of you to put in your best and absolute best but nothing more. That's just how you get to see the team excel. Anything short and your on the bench and none of his players want to do that.
Surprisingly,  the team wasn't at its best when injury rocked the team. Manchester City struggled but they can't be way too far on the table.

In the match against Liverpool, it was clear that Arsenal always put pressure on Liverpool, such as trying to kick at goal several times and so far Arsenal's control of the ball is also good, which made them win against Liverpool. With this victory, Arsenal managed to score second place. and the third is the same, and it is proven that Liverpool can still be beaten even though Liverpool are currently at the top, but they have not managed to maintain their position well.

Manchester City strength this season has not really decreased even though in the first half of this season they lost their performance balance, but in the second half of this season we have seen Manchester City record consecutive wins. Indeed, Haaland and Kevin have returned to play after suffering injuries in the previous match, but against Brentford, Foden was the one who was able to emerge as a hero because he scored 3 goals, aka a hat trick.

Apart from that, Manchester City is certainly targeting victory in the upcoming match, so we can see that their game is getting better and continues to put pressure on the opponents they face. Next week, Manchester City has the opportunity to overtake Liverpool and if Manchester City returns to leading the standings then there will be no more opportunities for other teams to bother them. Regarding Pep Guardiola, of course there is no doubt about his abilities, he even received an individual award as the best coach at the moment.

Instead to get their rythm and poch keep being so stubborn with so many blunders made by him. Look at the rotation of chelsea. Sometimes it doesn't even make sense to call this as one of big club. Pochettino has even worst result compared to the graham potter. It means that if he must be thinking how to maximizing the potential owned by the club.
I do't even like the way pochettino was coaching the club. I seems like that chelsea was taking the wrong decision by to keep this guy much longer in the squad. I think that if that's the biggest mistake being by made chelsea at this time with no improvement that came to him. I think that it's quite clear if chelsea needs to replace its manager.

The current manager was not so good enough to handle the club. I think that pochettino shall be sacked by the club but poch said the owner was still supporting him and i don't know what to say caused by this is terrible decision from the owner to keep him in the club much longer.
If i was todd and i have sacked him. Chelsea's upcoming fixtures are not looking good caused by it's gonna be facing a lot of strong opponents. Chelsea may be missing a lot of points. This is the main problem that needs to be solved as soon as possible.

Im only wanna know how long needed to make the managemenr realize if pochettino was a very bad coach for the club. it's such a disgrace for the club to play even worst than before. The gameplay is just getting worsening.

I wonder how people still doubt Pep's Manchester City. When Manchester City were dropping points almost every match week everybody thought they were done. That team doesn't give up, they don't stop. As I have always said, they get better as the season progresses.
They have been without key players at different points in the season, but now that they need all 3 points out of every game all their key players are available. Halland, De Bruyne, and Rodri are all available.

Man City is going to win this premier league and make it 4 consecutive wins, something that has never happened, not even in the peak of Alex Ferguson with Man United.
Even if they don't win their outstanding match, I strongly believe that they'll still win the league because the other title contenders, Liverpool and Arsenal will still drop points.
I know the league is still wide open, but no matter how open it is, Manchester City will end up at the top.

Manchester city was calmly understanding the game even though brentford was scoring the first goal but city was not yet losing its focus. The club was scoring three goals through brentford but yet again KDB had been also contributing another assist for the win of manchester city. The only bad thing if manchester city did a blunder that cost the club a cleansheet against brentford. Brentford can only play defensively against manchester city in the secondhalf. Glad to see that foden was making hatrick in this game. His positioning was very very good and haaland was not lucky enough. City would be scored 4 goals if haaland's shoot was not blocked.

So, this is another improvement that happened to the manchester city. I do like the way city plays football and it's always controlling the game. The king is back now to reclaim EPL trophy again.
Other club must be so careful when they were facing manchester city caused by city is in the best performance after haaland and de bruyne back again in the squad. Having haaland and bruyne was making the situation even better for the club.

The won against brentford is also spreading the message for other club to be careful. There will be no club who will be able to prevent city from winning the EPL trophy this season.

If you look at this match, it's because the Brentford players are too focused on the field. Until Foden can freely enter the heart of the defense. In fact, if you look at last season, Brentford was the only team that was able to beat Man City twice home and away.

However, this season Man City has changed a lot, but the Man City template every season is unique and almost the same. Let other teams enjoy the top of the standings until the New Year, with a few points difference, with a few games remaining, Man City will only try to continue to win in every remaining game, while waiting for Liverpool to fall under pressure and finally be overtaken by Man City until the end of the season and Man City who became champions.

I was really delighted about Manchester City performance in yesterday's game. They dominated the entire game and gave Brentford little opportunity in that game. The Brentford goalie was really handy if not that scoreline would have been more than what it was in that game. If you noticed City has started the unbeaten run again which usually last till the end of the season. So when you say city has been a dominant team in EPL and stronger than others I agree with you.

Everyone knows that Manchester City will indeed win against Brentford and this is quite an interesting match because Brentford, which is lower team, can still put up quite tough fight against Manchester City.
I thought that Manchester City would get big win by getting more than 4 or 5 goals but in reality what happened on the field was that Manchester City victory was only 1 - 3 and this was match that could provide quite pleasant sensation.
Manchester City is strong team and when team that is their opponent can break through Ederson goal then it is an amazing match, and in this match I was quite disappointed with Haaland performance.
The center of attention was Phil Foden who was able to score hat trick and he provided all three goals for Manchester City victory and won 3 points to catch up with Liverpool.

Mark Fleken provided a goal assist to Neal Maupal where he help the striker when Brenford had difficulty scoring goals. He managed to defend his goal during the first half and Man City was unable to break through the defense when Brentford took the lead in the first half. However, unfortunately Mark Flekken was unable to maintain his defense until the end, he was unable to withstand the attacks carried out by Man City and conceded 3 goals which in the end saw Brentford suffer a crushing defeat to Man City.
Phil Foden created his hattrick in this match and became the hero of Man City victory.

Definitely going to be entertaining EPL run for these clubs to start bouncing back to victory ways and enchanting their performance to be unique in all round. The EPL title belongs to the club that have the best results and gathering enough points so far this season. With the looks of things, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal seems to be the competitive clubs for the EPL title this season, they won't be backing down because they're elite teams and these categories of teams are the formidable and strongest when it comes to title run.
