Now it's really just a matter of trusting the process and starting from scratch not necessarily too fast but definitely moving in a better direction but it seems Todd still doesn't realize that.

Todd doesn't understand that at all. I have been saying this since he took over at Chelsea. He thinks getting players is all it takes. He's just spending money, buying every available players and youngster, but it's obvious that strategy is not working.

What he should have done is get board members that know what they're doing. Get the right sporting directors and let them put their heads together and hire a good coach. A coach that can handle a rebuilding project. That coach should be able to pick the players he wants the club to sign and the clubs do whatever they can to sign the coach's choice. The coach will choose players who can work with him, and players who understand his style. This should have been the first step for Chelsea. Instead, they just went ahead and bought a player for a coach that hoat has not proved himself at the top level.

To make everything worse they hired Lampard after sacking Potter and they hired Pochettino. These are decisions that show they don't know what they're doing up there.
What Chelsea needs now is a proper rebuild. They should forget about trophies, they should go back to the drawing board and start from the beginning. Right every wrong that they have made and that starts with getting the right people for each job.

I agree with you. Chelsea  are fully focused on the FA Cup  this season. Because the Chelsea  coach knows very well that  they have no chance of doing well in the Premier  League. And even if the  performance can stabilize a bit, this team has zero chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

After conceding a humiliating 4-2 defeat against Wolves in their last Premier League match, we  saw an excellent performance from Chelsea's players in the FA Cup match. It was unexpected for me. Chelsea players  performed well in this match. Chelsea's defense in particular was strong in this match. This is why the team was  able to win the match. If the bonding between the players is strong, we will see better performances from this team.

I've a feeling, we're going home with the FA Cup trophy. The Blues are not back, we can not portrayed our hope because of one winning, everything will balance for the Blues with time, we only need to be consistent in winning matches because that's the one thing that proves to everyone that they're doing better. Chelsea performed well against Aston Villa and everyone was surprised how Chelsea was able to win at Villa park where it has been difficult for almost all teams to win a game this season. We don’t know what happened to Aston Villa last night but something must definitely be wrong to lose to Chelsea at home like that. Chelsea winning Aston Villa 3-0 is a cleae indication that all Pochettino cares about this season are cup competitions. I think it's because he knows that there's no way Chelsea can come back to fight for even a champions league place this season so better to take his team's energy on cup competitions. I'm really surprised to see Aston Villa come from a very good weekend only to lose to a Chelsea team that lost at home over the weekend.

Despite the fact that there's still time in the game, I don't believe Aston Villa would be able to do a comeback here.

The game is almost over, and Aston Villa are able to score just one goal. How come Chelsea players aren't performing this well in the Premier League? Despite having players that can compete with any team in the Premier League, Chelsea is still losing when playing home or away. Before the season ends, Pochettino's team needs to start winning Premier League games. 

I also think so Pochettino's as no hope in competing for the top four zone which is champion league as well as Europa League because the way he performed some time look like they don't have any interest in Premier league but in other cup compositions. Chelsea played very well against Aston villa but I will assume Aston villa too don't focus on this cup compositions, I think the main aim of Unai Emery this season is just to make it to the Champions league maybe that will be the reason for their lose.

Yeah truly Manchester City has come back to there normal form and is actually very good for them because there performance month ago when Kelvin de Bruyne was still on his injury was very bad then but however everything got normal the moment Kelvin de Bruyne return to Manchester City, however looking at there performance right now they may likely repeat what happen on there premier League last season by winning the trophy because this was exactly how they were performing on there last season premier League that they won the trophy.

But however right now Liverpool is there only challenge because the only way Manchester City will become the leader of the premier League table is by beating Liverpool through point, so perhaps if Liverpool failed to be consistent in there winings then Manchester City will bring them down and by then there is no way any club could prevent Manchester City from becoming the league champion.

Manchester City's performance was bad because some of their key players were absent at the start of the season. maybe this is a strategy for Pochettino to get at least a chance in another competition because in the FA Cup not many other clubs have interest and it is only natural that Aston Villa loses that match because Unai Emery team is more focused on maintaining its position in the standings to get a UCL ticket in the following season so that Aston Villa will not work too hard against Chelsea.

What I am worried about from Arsenal is always slipping at the end of the season until they can no longer compete with the title race then maybe this time the three different candidates choose a thin point difference so anything can change in the future.

I feel Man City and Liverpool are the most favorite in the title race this season, the difference in points will not be far however both clubs need points in every match it's just that when they meet again it's the most awaited by fans.

Arteta must learn from previous experiences and they must try to increase self -confidence as one of the clubs that has the potential to compete for the title. If there is no trust, we will see how this season will be repeated like the previous season. Comparing Pochettino with Jurgen will be very different in terms of quality, even though Pochettino still cannot match what Klopp has. I know this will be a disappointment for Chelsea fans who want their club to improve. But in this case Pochettino decision in choosing players was very bad and even seemed inappropriate. Even though Chelsea's budget is large enough to recruit expensive players. However, Pochettino did not take advantage of this opportunity well. It's not only theory but realistically, manchester city was able performing better than before. It is still having a chance to take the first position again soon. The match against liverpool was still far away and i think that's not relevant to talk about that caused by we may be seeing some injured players to come back soon.
Liverpool was not in a good shape and i think this is the main problem faced by the club. The lost against arsenal seems a common thing if we are aware if liverpool played the game without salah and nunez. THe situation might be different if there were those players in the squad.
Im not blaming liverpool now and im being so generous caused by the situation in the liverpool can't be avoided. It seems like that everything will be going even tougher than before.

Salah should really be back for Liverpool's aid as soon as possible.    His absence is affecting the team consistency level directly. Maybe they got some good results without him as well but when it comes to playing one of the teams at top of the standings I can't say they were good enough. Arsenal made them huge difficulties for real.

When it comes to Nunez it is really hard to understand him. Sometimes he is really impressive with good level of finishing. But mostly he is a disappointment for Liverpool. He is wasting insane amount of goal opportunities unlike his past performances at Benfica.

I think City will be champions this season. The deciding match will be against Liverpool in March. I bet City will win the EPL competition this season. In the FA Cup and in the EFL Cup we can always see Chelsea playing very well and full of confidence. But somehow the Chelsea players seem to have lost confidence when playing in the Premier League. But in this case, I personally can't just blame one party. Because I think everyone has their own role and everyone must be responsible. Coaches are tasked with providing good strategies and coaching for players. And players must be able to carry out strategies on the field well and must minimize mistakes when playing on the field. I can boast about the defenders of Arsenal eve if they make errors, they now have Tomiyasu and also Jurim Timber back from the Asian Cup Competition and also the later returning back from a long Injury. Chelsea won Aston Villa that's better than them in the EPL 1-3 in the FA Cup and the fans seem to be happy with the same saying "we're back to winning ways", always back but when it comes to the EPL they start with a positive energy but at the end they'll lose the game.
To the Chelsea fans and football lovers who cares to take note, I think they should accept the difference between expectation and reality, the fans are always expecting something big each time the Blues come out to play. Chelsea of last 10-20yrs ago is not the same as of now, they're completely different from what we're seeing, this current Chelsea players are full of young ones that doesn't have experience and the fans expect more from them which to me they (the fans) will get something different as in disappointment.
The fans should just accept the reality that Chelsea is now a team that needs to be rebuild, they should give the players both the coach time to bring back the team to the top level standard and they should forget about past glory because that's what they have been living with each time they Blues play, with that alone I believe they can bounce back.

You know the dumbest part about all this? They can't even sack Poch, because they are worried that doing so might make them breach FFP rules because of the severance pay they have to give him.

This Chelsea are sacking managers at the same rate they used to under Abramovich. But I didn't see them have to pay enormous amounts of severance, because the old Chelsea wouldn't even bother hiring bad-suited managers like Potter in the first place.
