We really can't equate Tottenham and Manchester City. Tottenham are doing well but they are not title contenders. They have also been inconsistent this season. City is far superior to Tottenham in various aspects. City are also motivated to win the title this season so of course they will go all out to win that match. Manchester City meeting with Everton who is at the bottom of the league is going to be another good opportunity for Manchester City to be at the top of the league again.  Manchester City with their complete squad it is easy for them to achieve what they want , and meeting with Everton I don't think Everton will have the strength to resist the force Manchester City will be coming with. Manchester City targets has always to be at the first position leading, loosing this game is what they won't be able to afford in this game. Looking back at the performance of Everton so far in this season, it is clear to see that Manchester City is the favourite to win.

Manchester City really won't allow Everton to take home points at the Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola of course wants victory so he can coup Liverpool from the throne. Yes, apart from that, in terms of squad quality, these two teams have quite a big difference. It is true that Tottenham have played very well this season. But I don't think Tottenham are the right team to win the Premier League title. Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are ahead of Tottenham. And these three teams also have strong squads.

I wouldn't compare Tottenham with Manchester City. Tottenham's main weakness is that their defense is not strong enough. Tottenham need a stronger defense if they want to go to the top of the points table. Tottenham's attacking players are performing very well, due to which the team's performance is stable. Such things can indeed happen because after all when we look at the EPL there must always be surprises where the favored club can lose and we have seen several times this kind of incident throughout the season starting like when Manchester City lost to Wolves or Aston Villa and Everton who had beaten Chelsea and Newcastle but in the end things like this are still very rare to happen.

More than anyone and anything, after this draw between Everton and Tottenham, other teams at the top of the premier league table like Manchester United, Arsenal, and Aston Villa are happy because Tottenham lost the point and they are now under less pressure than they were before. However, considering the recent drama that happened in Evertom and their financial issues I was not expecting them to be in the situation to get a draw in this match at all.
