It's been an interesting weekend so far. Watched the City and Liverpool game but missed out on most of the action of Tottenham's game (no way I would watch Tottenham instead of Liverpool) but I didn't miss that 96th minute winner by Johnson after that excellent assist from Son.

My take on the weekend so far, Man City is interested in repeated what they have done in seasons before this one: slip up early in the season and do a comeback to win the title. This time though, It's a 3-way battle between Liverpool, City and Arsenal.

Liverpool are also as serious as Manchester city to win the Premier League. Arsenal look like they will be dropped out at some point because of the heat of Liverpool and Manchester City. All three Liverpool forwards scored goals today against Burnley, Nunez, Jota and Diaz to get Liverpool back to winning. Bad weekend for Burnley and Everton who both loose their games and will remain at the bottom of the table.

Manchester City still has that game in hand and that still makes quite a difference, although none of the games that these top teams have to play are easily won. I thought that Manchester City would severely outcompete Everton especially since they were playing at home, but Manchester City does have problems scoring goals at times. Their offense isn't quite as efficient as it had been in other seasons. I believe that both Liverpool and Manchester City will drop some points. They might not necessarily lose a few games, but I do think that they will have a few draws.

I was happy for Haaland who finally gets back into his best shape. He needs to score goals and goals and too bad he has had several injuries despite being so young. He looks so resilient as a player and yet he does have physical issues more often than others. It's disappointing as it ruins his stats.

Manchester City managed to defeat Everton at home with Haaland's goals.City managed to play a dominant game against Everton, but I think City didn't want to push too hard because of the champions league match to be played in the week, otherwise they played with the potential to score more goals against Everton.
Another title contender Liverpool host Burnley at home.Liverpool started the second half fast after a 1-1 draw in the first half against Burnley.Liverpool scored in the second half to go 2-1 up.Liverpool are playing more dominant than their opponents and will most probably win.

Sean Dyche might be one defensive coach but that don't work whenever he is against Manchester City even during them days as a manager for Burnley.
Tough first half already as they locked up these citizens but not for too long. Not that they didn't get to create chances but they struggled to score.
Thanks to Erling Haaland, we'll always know whenever he's around and not Injured. He's not scored more than fifty goals in the Premier League Competition.

Liverpool pressed on to score with double headers. I think they used more of set pieces to score than breaking Burnley United.

Although Everton lost but ya, at least Everton managed to hold Manchester City for 70 minutes. Because after all, the first goal that Haaland managed to make also occurred in the 71st minute and also,it seems that if Bruyne is not played maybe Everton will be able to hold Manchester City to a draw . Because ya, although Manchester City dominated the match well but the fact is,when Bruyne was still on the bench the reality is that Manchester City's efforts always failed to make goals. So, with results like this, at least Manchester City still really need Bruyne to be able to break the deadlock and yes, factors like that will certainly not be completely good for Manchester City for other more difficult matches ahead.

But at least I'm still lucky too, because with Bruyne coming on as a substitute, the match finally ended with a score of 2-0.

The performance of both teams has been equally good so far, but Manchester City have a bigger chance considering they still have one game postponed which could ultimately put them 1 point ahead of Liverpool.

I personally do not underestimate Arsenal's chances this season because Liverpool and Manchester City cannot be guaranteed to always maintain their team's performance until the end of the season. There are still many tough games for the top three teams and there is always a possibility of them dropping points. After all, the points gap between the top teams currently wasn't that much and anyone who made a mistake would slip up and lose their position.

Truly this seasons EPL is very competitive, and we have seen that both Liverpool and Manchester City are struggling to always win their matches so that they will remain at the top of the table. Manchester City almost lost the three points today. Not until Haaland intervened and secured a brace which scale them through. Everton was seriously defending against Manchester City, since they thought that would be the best way for them to at least end up with a draw game. One thing i do believe about Manchester City is that if they do not score during the first half, they always score during the second half. We saw them with the same pattern today and we saw it last week. Liverpool on the other side is ready to secure the EPL title.

I wouldn’t call 2:0 and a game where Manchester City dominated mange. These guys defeated Everton but not with a huge score line. Haaland registered two goals to his name which means his actually back to his scoring ways and it’s yet another needed 3 points for Pep. We would soon be seeing a terrifying and title contending Manchester City in the EPL once more.

Wolves is one team that I didn’t expect to lose todays game but it’s very surprising how they lost to Brentford in a home game. This team has always been soft when they play mid tier teams but the story is very different when playing with a top tier team.

Liverpool and Manchester are the two clubs in which I have hope to win the league title this season. I am not really confident in Arsenal's ability to win. Arsenal fans are thinking they will be able to win the Premier League this season just because they won Liverpool, but winning Liverpool doesn’t mean they will win the league. From the way Manchester City have been playing lately, they have higher chances of winning the league. Manchester City is currently in second place, and they have one outstanding match to play. I am sure they will do everything possible to win the match.

If any of the two teams that you mentioned above had won their match, I would have been shocked, but I am not surprised that the two clubs lost their match. Do you expect Everton to win Manchester City or Burnley to win Liverpool? If any of these two clubs win their matches, it will have been a surprise to me. Manchester City and Liverpool are really desperate to win the league title this season, so they won’t want to lose any matches right now.

Everton continuous lose will just make the fight to get out of the relegation zone very tough for them. They shouldn’t still be saddened by the reduction of points but they should already by now get over it and face the league better. Arsenal's performance in the beginning of the season made me to think that they were gonna to better than they were last season. I was thinking they'll finally win the English Premier League title for the first time since 2003/04 season that they last won it only to see them underperforming and losing games again and would now need a miracle to win the league title this season.
They have league game to play tomorrow at West Ham and a win in that game will further increase their chances of catching up with the league leaders Liverpool but that I think will be very difficult for them if you ask me. Arsenal manager  Mikel Arteta I think have all it takes to win that game and that's why I'll be banking on Arsenal win in that particular game

   It’s just so sad how people are so quick to write off Arsenal as title contenders maybe cause of what happened last season, but this season Arsenal is more of a threat than the Liverpool team, a win in the tomorrow game will not only boost their confidence it will also draw them closer to the cup. And mancity having a game in hand does not guarantee a win for them, they will be playing against Brentford with in form Ivan Toney, it not going to be an easy one for the city side if they approach the game with over confidence. Arsenal on the other hand if they can try and savage this remaining game and try and gain points like Liverpool and City, I don’t see a reason why they should be talked about as title contenders.
    Arsenal is being seen as the underdog in the race of the title. But people shouldn’t do the mistake of writing off the underdogs, I think they’ve got every chance they have the squad debt that caused them the trophy last season. With Trossard being a perfect super sub for the team and the fine dynamic they have in the midfield. I won’t be surprised to see Arsenal lift the cup cause they really play a very fine football.
