I was really surprised over the outcome of the Liverpool and Man UTD FA Cup match because honestly I didn't see that coming. A 4-2 finish is something fans will be exhilirated about since Man UTD are showing them they've still got the stuff in them and this performance has pushed them to the semi's and I'm actually anxious to know who Erik's men will be paired against. At least they can hold on to this one since they aren't in the top three struggling for the trophy, of they manage to get past everyone and win this FA cup trophy, it can boost the confidence of fans.
 Liverpool tried all they could in that game and for the first time in a long while they couldn't come back from a defeat and the way the whole thing turned out it looked as if they were content to bow out of this one so they can focus on Europa and the League.
Jurgen Klopp's men were unarguably the better side in yesterday's game but at the end what matters is not how well you poach your enemy's defense, it's the three points that matters and I'm hoping they don't continue this way else they will have to forfeit their dreams of climbing back on top because they had the upper hand in the first half, but struggled to get a third goal that would have sealed their victory, instead bottled their chances when Anthony scored in the 87 minute.

4-3 for Man United to win and they deserved it with a compact game like this and seeing how Man United mentality is to get up so they have the opportunity to turn things around. The blunder made by Nunez which was finally resolved with Rashford goal certainly revived enthusiasm in the extra round. With this result Liverpool realized that their performance was a little out of control, I don't know the reason but I say that with Man United scoring 2 goals after 120+ minutes it was beyond anyone's predictions because Liverpool were already ahead.
In my opinion Liverpool defeat was a bit embarrassing because in the EPL they are the most consistent team in all aspects of players, if we compare it with Man United who are still limping in the standings, having difficulty catching up with Tottenham in points, but were able to beat Liverpool. Sterling's performance with Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-final match against Newcastle was very chaotic, where he always wasted opportunities and got a penalty but failed to execute it. He also got a free kick but unfortunately it went into space.

Indeed Manchester United game against Liverpool in the yesterday was a big win for man United,  but then the bigger question is that will just a match against the top club make the bug difference,  if you have being's following,  both in the premenre leagues and FA and other leagues,  Liverpool have being doing well in this this and just losing a match is not a big deal that couldn't be taken as means to get to something better outcome since the league is almost close to it end.

You have to be kidding. Europa League was made for teams outside of the top four so how can you even say that winning it is bigger than the Premier League? The prestige is on the lower level since it's basically a trophy for teams that cannot win their respective domestic title or teams that cannot make it to the elite group.

Europa league is an European competition but that doesn’t make it more special than the premier league just because teams from different leagues participate in it, it as Yogee said, the competition is being set for teams that couldn’t make it to the prestigious champions league meaning they are inferior teams.

I don't agree with you when you say that in football there is no such thing as luck, I think luck will always exist in football. For example, a team at the bottom of the standings can win against a top team, even though they don't hold the ball much in the game and are constantly being attacked, is this not an advantage? but I would agree if you said effort and hard work would make them lucky, I think that is a more appropriate word.

 Liverpool tried all they could in that game and for the first time in a long while they couldn't come back from a defeat and the way the whole thing turned out it looked as if they were content to bow out of this one so they can focus on Europa and the League.
Jurgen Klopp's men were unarguably the better side in yesterday's game but at the end what matters is not how well you poach your enemy's defense, it's the three points that matters and I'm hoping they don't continue this way else they will have to forfeit their dreams of climbing back on top because they had the upper hand in the first half, but struggled to get a third goal that would have sealed their victory, instead bottled their chances when Anthony scored in the 87 minute.

This is the most exciting match this week in my opinion. The two teams exchanged attacks and the two coaches also battled strategies. Man United made an epic comeback twice, and in the 71+ minute both coaches made substitutions and both teams produced results, Jurgen Klopp's substitution was successful, while two of Ten Hag's three substitutions determined the final result 4-3 for Man United .

I think this is Man United's best game this season. If you start the season by playing with enthusiasm and never giving up like this, maybe the ranking in the EPL league will be different, not like now the ranking will be different. However, Man United's opportunity to compete in the top four is still wide open if they present games like this again in the remainder of this season.

Basically, Liverpool had enough control of the match and they were even able to maintain their lead until the end of the second half before the equalizing goal occurred. So Klopp's mistake in rotating players gave United players more freedom and more confidence because they were able to force their opponents into extra time. So in my opinion it would be an exaggeration if that was the best game from the Red Devils.

We know how Liverpool played aggressively in this match but we cannot deny the cooperation and coordination of the Man Utd every time Liverpool tried to win a goal their position was already settled with the goalkeeper, but Liverpool always know how to manage their passing rotation so it's quite hard to Man Utd to make a too much compress to the goal. Rashford's attempt goal kick was too much indecisive but he get the goal after 112' mins, this game destroyed the record of Liverpool and new hope for the Man United.

Yes, it was Man Utd's hard work when facing a strong team at the moment, but I think Liverpool didn't put all their energy into this match because Liverpool was more focused on the EPL and UEL competitions, so even though they lost in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, it doesn't change the possibility that Liverpool still strong and this defeat against Man Utd can be a lesson for Liverpool not to underestimate teams that are not very consistent because sometimes teams like that can give surprises, Man Utd finally qualified for the semifinals and I think Man Utd can reach the final and fight Man City to win the trophy.

Liverpool did invested that energy and strength but then there are points where energies and strengths could be in matching and when they are, you are most definitely not going to be able to get beyond how well the strength could take you a d that was exactly the case of Liverpool as they did all they could having the matching energy and strength yet they couldn't win because at some point they taught it was over.

Thinking it was over and altering the strategy was what caused Liverpool that game and now they are suffering the consequences thereafter because actually in that game , Manchester united actually weren't doing much enough so invariably, Liverpool was actually deserving of their wins in the game already and they just needed that sustainability till the end, I was even thinking Liverpool would be able to net a goal in the second half following the sequence with which they got their goals in the first it looked like they were ready to show some more in the second half.

Manchester united actually got the opportunity to get the only goal that was scored in the second half before the extra time, I had taught this game wasn't going in to an extra time because Manchester united looked like they were going to loose the game already until they had their second goal and almost the third which rashford did missed in the last minute of the game, the match would have ended in a goal as the final whistle goes.

Indeed Manchester United game against Liverpool in the yesterday was a big win for man United,  but then the bigger question is that will just a match against the top club make the bug difference,  if you have being's following,  both in the premenre leagues and FA and other leagues,  Liverpool have being doing well in this this and just losing a match is not a big deal that couldn't be taken as means to get to something better outcome since the league is almost close to it end.

Anyways we have few games to go and at that Manchester United and Liverpool still have more games to prove themselves, I guess Liverpool in under high pressure right now, because of their position in the Premier leagues which their Don well from the beginning but at the moment their have lost a few point which drip Liverpool back to second on the leagues table right now.

This is a very important victory for Erik ten Hag, now they have a very good chance of playing in the final, I think that Coventry will not be a very big problem for Manchester United after the victory over Liverpool. If they manage to win the semi-finals, then I think they can play City, and it won’t be easy to win there.

Liverpool can now focus on their main task, which is winning the Premier League, they will also want to win the EL, but the Premier League will definitely be a priority. In the world of football there is no such thing as luck, in my opinion this is the result of the Manchester United team's hard work with excellent passes which were then put to good use by the Manchester United players resulting in the winning goal for Manchester United. It's true that Liverpool played very well, but they played too hastily so they couldn't take advantage of all the opportunities they got when they were in the Manchester United goal. In my opinion, this is not the Liverpool coach's fault, in fact Kloop gave his squad a strategy that looks very good. It's just that Liverpool's defense is too focused on the front so they don't pay enough attention to their players from Manchester United.

I think Manchester United's win was due to their hustle and precision. Against Liverpool, they capitalized well. But Liverpool's focus on many competitions may have affected their energy and focus in this encounter. A wise resource distribution between tournaments may be more important than underestimating an inconsistent team.

In my opinion, Liverpool can learn from this loss. Remember that every football game counts and any team may surprise, regardless of form. Each team has much to play for coming up. Tension and pressure will rise as the Premier League and European competitions heat up.

it obviously came as a shock to so many and for me, I had concluded before the start of the game that Liverpool was going to win against Manchester United but work didn't allow me watch the march and I hard to follow up live score, seeing the score from the first half, it was as though my predictions where right as Liverpool was on a dominating side but the turn of event that happened when Anthony equalized and leveled th game to a 2:2 draw and with Dallas 121st minutes goal, it dawned on me that manchester has united themselves against Liverpool to send them packing out of the FA cup. Although Liverpool controlled the game to some extent, they where still very much sloppy with their passes and it all contributed to thier defeat.

As a Liverpool fan, it was a disappointing Sunday, and the team performance by the LFC. Man U play a good game not throughout but when they get a chance they try to convert it into a score and they succeed. Flaws in defensive strategies and techniques when Liverpool got the lead in the second extra time after taking the lead Liverpool players slowed down they focused on defending their lead which they took but ultimately it cost us very badly and lose the game at the verge of timeout.

I'm almost sure that Manchester United have no chance of rising to the top 4, of course I could be wrong, but Tottenham and Aston Villa will not allow them to do this. By the way, Aston Villa could take advantage of Tottenham's loss in this round, but unfortunately only a draw with West Ham. I don’t know about the best game this season, their attack played quite well, but I would rather point out that Liverpool’s defensive game was not the best, they conceded too much and this was the reason for their loss.

Well I think it was perseverance, decisiveness and shear luck that separated Manchester United from Liverpool in that game, Liverpool had control of that match until they lost control of it all and Manchester United began to take advantage of Liverpool's weaknesses, exploring all the loopholes left behind by Jürgen klopp's substitutes as they couldn't withstand the pressure from Manchester United's frontliners who did a good job by bringing Manchester United back into the game and eventually winning it for the red devils with that wonderful strike from dialo.
