It's a nice suggestion but we may not see it happen, either Modric or Kross coming to Chelsea would have been the savior to raise them out of their poor performance and position. Smiling, I appreciate your creativity, but even if you were to draw this scenario, I wouldn't suggest using these two elderly Real Madrid players. Kroos, in particular, is still vital to the team, and although Real Madrid likes both of them, Luka Modric is 39 years old, and they see that his age may soon take a toll on him. Even if Chelsea were to pursue these elderly players, I doubt they would want to move to Chelsea or even return to the Premier League because you can see that those players would rather stay in Real Madrid.

In my opinion, it's not a good idea for Chelsea to sign Modric, even if they manage to acquire him. That is a good suggestion, but couldn't Joe come up with a better option than those old midfielders? I know they're all good, but they're too old for this. I meant that if Chelsea is in a disaster period, this is the primary issue that must be addressed by the club as soon as possible or it will keep get bad result in the football. The last time Everton were relegated was in 1951 and that was a very long time ago and they still prove they will never stop fighting even though they have problems or sometimes have to fight with other teams to avoid the relegation zone.

What Chelsea are facing now is something some other teams have faced, but the fans can't deal with losing that's why they all want something higher whenever they play, the expectations are too much and I believe that if they wait a little bit longer and endure this poor performance things with the Chelsea team would change for good and I believe they'll become more deadly in EPL and other Europe competitions.
Manchester City went through this stage before they become stronger, Liverpool also suffered it too after they won the Champions League back then, it was easy before things started working out for them, Arsenal went through this too before they started disturbing to win the league from City. Yes you are right, reducing the focus to win the uel title is one of the wrong decisions for me when Klopp wants to give a higher degree prize even though he will lose the PL title but is unable to give the UEL Cup to Liverpool and fans.
Seeing some clubs in the quarter-finals is very tense because there are still many strong clubs that will prevent Liverpool from winning trophies in UEL such as Milan, Roma and Leverkusen.
The three clubs that will qualify for the next round can certainly provide a very strong resistance and if Klopp must reduce the priority of UEL for the title of PL I think it will thwart gaining good achievements at the UEL.
