Last night Arsenal won against Wolves and at least now the Gunners lead the top of the standings. This victory is very important when the competition for the EPL title is not over yet and I think they still have that chance as long as they can be consistent. Seeing that Liverpool has been in disarray lately and Manchester City is tired due to a too tight match schedule, Arsenal must take advantage of this situation to always be able to collect 3 points.

Now they have to forget about the Champions League after being knocked out by Bayern Munich and return to focusing on the title they failed to win last season. Mikel Arteta must really succeed this time and even though their chances are not big enough considering that Liverpool and Manchester City have not played a match this week, at least they can become EPL champions that they can be proud of.

Losing the game against Bayern Munich made huge changes in Arsenal. Arteta and his players were expecting to beat Bayern Munich and be in the next stage finally. However, they had better station and they could beat Bayern Munich because of the players and the coaches they have. On the other hand, Arsenal had more motivation for that game, however, they failed it.
Now Arsenal is out of the Champions League the only hope they have is winning the Premier League title.
Areta made some decisions after this match and it seems they want to put some players like Nketiah, Nelson, Partey, and Aaron Ramsdale for sale.

This season's Premier League competition, to me seem to be the most difficult season to predict and which I have ever witnessed, most of the time at this point in the competition, majority of people can tell the winner, but not happening this season because no can predict with certainty who will win the league, we haven't had such a competitive season like this, three big teams dragging positions 😉, even as it has been known that city is likely to be the league champions, But this is still standing on a 50-50 chance of happening because the points gap with Liverpool and Arsenal is just one point and not much.

There are already some couch and keyboards experts confidently saying that City will win the title after taking the lead last week. They claim it's because City have a much easier opponents for the rest of the season. They could end up being right about City as champions but I still don't get where their confidence is coming from.

And as such, if Man-City really wants to win the league this season, this is the time for them not to take chances but strive to win in all it's forthcoming matches to be played against Brighton, Nottingham and Wolves on 25th, 28th April and 4th May respectively. But though it's gonna seams tough, with a good coach like Pep Guardiola, anything is possible.

As things stand, Manchester City seems to be in a good position to win the season premiere trophy because the matches they have left to play aren't against very strong teams, except maybe Tottenham, but even against them, Manchester City has a decent chance of winning. I believe Manchester City won't make many mistakes in these remaining matches because they understand that if they drop points, teams like Liverpool or Arsenal could take advantage of that.

Although most of the remaining matches will be against weaker teams, Man City can't underestimate them. Sometimes weak teams can be obstacles if they are trying to play aggressively. Even if they may not defeat Man City, they can make the match to end up with a draw. Man City should get full points in each match if they want to secure the trophy of EPL. It is because Arsenal and Liverpool will do the same way, they will be trying to win each remaining match. Losing points in remaining matches will lead to losing the chance of winning the trophy/title.

Anyway, Man City still have the matches against few tough teams. Tottenham, Brighton, and West Ham are quite strong teams, they possibly become the night mare if Man City lose focused on the match against them.

With a game in hand and an FA cup final game, Manchester City will still have tighter fixture than their two competitors. This is a slight disadvantage for Manchester City in their effort to defend their Premier League title. It's no wonder Guardiola spoke to media about their game that was unfair scheduled after the had a game in Champions League before.

FA Cup final will be in May 25, I think this won't bother the remaining matches in EPL. The latest match (matchday 38) of EPL will be in May 19. So, there is enough time for Man City to prepare FA Cup final. Guardiola can't blame the schedule if Man City fails to win EPL or FA Cup title. Moreover Liverpool and Arsenal also still have some tough matches, 3 candidates for EPL title almost have the same conditions. I think it is better to focus on the match only, don't be influenced by another matter.

Considering we are only 6 weeks away to the end of season and the current odds is quite good but as you said that city bettors got very good odds when they were picking city when it was in the third place. It's unlikely the standing will change probably till the last match. Im doubting arsenal this time.
As you said that if the current odds is very tempting to bet on it. I consider that city has the easiest fixtures compared to the opponents. Those who bet on liverpool may be losing their money.

I'm not sure that many people bet on City when they were in third place (unless they were hedging bets) since it's one thing when you're behind one team and there's a head-to-head match ahead, then yes, you can bet on the potentially strongest the team, even if it is temporarily behind, they have a chance to fix everything. But in the situation with City everything was much worse - they were behind two teams and there were no more head-to-head matches in hand, it looked like losing the race, but unfortunately in one round everything turned upside down.

It is not wrong movement at Arsenal as if they realize their weakness, they must figure out ways to fix it like through training current players or to replace them by new players. If a player is at a club for some seasons but still can not improve himself, finding a replacement is not a bad choice.

No guarantee that replacements will perform better than current players but it is worthy to try with careful works from Arsenals' scout team and their head coach Arteta. Big problems for a club that are competing well in big competitions like Arsenal are it's harder in transfer negotiations. Other clubs will see demand from Arsenal and try to bargain for selling their players at as highest costs as possible.

Last challenge for Arsenal is don't break their player salary ceiling too easily because it will put their club finance into bigger risk and unsustainable conditions.

Arsenal this season have indeed sold most of them and even loaned them to other teams in order to maintain the stability of the club, what Arteta did of course has been right in my opinion for them not to burden the club too much with players who do not have too much contribution to the club, but Arteta's fault when they sell many players is that they do not bring in other players who are really needed by the club to make their club stronger,  Among the three teams competing for the title, of course, Arsenal have the most vulnerable squad at the moment and their squad composition is less qualified in my opinion.

Manchester City is just getting even closer to win the Premier League title since it's only a few steps away to the PL trophy and as long as city can take three points from the remaining games and i strongly believe city can get the trophy this season. It is also defending its record of four consecutive Premier League wins which will be also recording a new record in the premier league as the only team that was able winning PL 4 times in a row. Manchester City is getting closer to winning the competition even though arsenal and liverpool winning the last matches but i strongly believe city can do that. Manchester City has qualified for the FA Cup final. Winning two trophies this season brings Manchester City closer to achieving its goal.
It really saddened me that Chelsea was eliminated from the UCL, because I was hoping Manchester City would perform even better than they did last season. Manchester City is now rebuilding its mentality after losing to Real Madrid.
Manchester United advances to the final after it was beating coventry. Coventry was on the verge of doing so, but a penalty allowed United to face City in the final which is amazing to see the comeback from the coventry. i was rating coventry so high as it's almost beating united at FA cup last night. There will be a Manchester Derby in the final between Manchester United and Manchester City soon.
I'm hoping the final will go so well between city and united. Liverpool and Arsenal remain in second and third place, respectively, behind City and they have lesser chance in getting PL trophy. Things are difficult for the city to maintain as the rhythm becomes more stable.

An interesting game between Manchester United vs Coventry City in the semi-final single leg of the FA Cup. Improvement every season needs to be done but you should look at things that need to be improved carefully and I actually support your opinion, like Arsenal actually already has quite quality players but my only question is why does Arteta always change his line up?
sometimes I wonder whether in recent seasons Arsenal has experienced unstable and inconsistent performance because they always replace players who don't have any problems and you will definitely also see how Arsenal towards the end of the season must be very annoying after consistently getting consecutive wins after losing consistently and failed again to get the EPL title.

maybe as a spectator it's just easy to comment but in fact this is a fact that Arteta should actually try to see why Arsenal always fails, whether it's because of player problems or just the mentality of the players who always lose consistency when competing at the top of the EPL standings.

Crystal Palace have been gingered by their win over Liverpool last weekend to do another havoc on David Moyes' team today. Honestly, I least expected to see such number of goals in that game! Seven goals and the Eagles took advantage of the stress Leverkusen put the Hammers through in the Europa league. Playing against a side that hasn't recorded any loss in their German league took a toll on them. In the Premier league, West Ham aren't much of a threat but in terms of comparison, they are much better than Crystal Palace but today's just not their day.
 This win will give Crystal Palace a confidence boost but with four games remaining for the season to end, can Oliver Glasner take the Eagles past the 14th spot to a more favorable place?

It turned out that the positive trend that Crystal Palace had the previous week when they beat Liverpool was still able to maintain it until this week. And West Ham must have been shocked to suffer such a heavy defeat by Crystal Palace. And now Crystal Palace has won twice in two consecutive weeks which means Crystal Palace is actually in a safe position in the sense that Crystal Palace is far from the relegation zone. And maybe Crystal Palace's current goal is to get a better ranking than now. But the next opponent that Crystal Palace has to face is quite tough, namely against Newcastle. And I doubt Crystal Palace can get full points again in the next match.

This is football and so anything can happen. Who would have thought that Crystal Palace would have held a club like Liverpool to a 1 goal win? And the goal was gotten in the very early minutes of the first half, knowing how good Jurgen Klopp's men are at comebacks? So there's the possibility that something similar can happen with Newcastle. To be honest I don't really see them as much of a threat this season, if anything they are more lukewarm than any other club and we're in that time of the season where much upsets will be experienced. I mean, David Moyes' boys did not expect that thrashing they got from Crystal Palace and probably may have been underestimating them and I feel Newcastle won't be better off if they come to that game with the same attitude West Ham had yesterday.

I dont think his absence wont make any difference in the team. Tomiyasu has been away from so many matches after he returned from the japanese league last month. He Was giving some time to rest before going into peach again. However he has played only two matches since he returned, of which two of those matches Arsenal lost in the games. Before he returned there were two players who filled up in the space one which is Zinchenko and the other is Kiwior. Although one cannot truly rely on Zinchenko to pull up the defence so well like Tomiyasu but Kiwior did a good job when he was in the pitch which made the Arsenal coach and the fans forgot that Tomi has been sitting on the bench for quite sometime.

Arsenal really trusts Mikel Arteta in making changes to this club, if it fails again then at least this will be Arsenal's second failure and there is no need to count the initial season where Arteta started to take over this team and started making massive player purchases.
Some Arsenal players do not appear effective even though there are some of them who only get very little playing time so they cannot show their abilities optimally.
Which Arsenal players will be sold? I haven't read the news about this, although previously there were rumors that one of the player who would be released was Gabriel Jesus because he has been disappointing again this season even if we judged by the number of goals less than last season and I see him as a player who doesn't contribute well to Arsenal and selling it might be a good option for the team.

Manchester City is in good form this season and I believe that no club will compete with Manchester City in the Premier League at the moment. According to H2H Manchester City vs Tottenham in their last 10 meetings, Manchester City won four out of their games, while Tottenham won five and drew one. Manchester City has lost against Tottenham this season, so I think we may see Manchester City lose against Tottenham. Though I believe that Tottenham lost against Newcastle but that wasn't a surprise defeat because Tottenham always encounters difficult challenges at Newcastle's home ground.

Manchester City is a club that doesn't like to give up in any of their games but they have a hard time playing against the top 5 club in the Premier League this season. Look at their match against Chelsea, Manchester City was able to defeat Chelsea in the FA Cup with a narrow victory, not any win in the Premier League games this season.
