Both teams always bring their all to make the game interesting each time they meet and this isn't a new thing with UTD playing out poorly in a friendly game, I wasn't impressed by what I saw from the Red Devils. Manchester United have the attack more than the Arsenal side and still lost the game, so what will happen when the main event begins? Will Manchester United still be looking for who to blame their lack of form on?
The problem is these guys claim to be Man UTD but they aren't united in anyway and I hope ETH is taking note, the fans ain't happy to see their team losing games when we have about 2 weeks before the new campaign begins, something positive need to happen and the team is not even convincing to say they can do well next season.

Why the rush? This is a building phase for Erik ten Hag under the new 25% owners. I think the game earlier today is enough evidence that players need to leave and qualified and quality players needs to come in. That's said, I think gunners deserves the win. But why the penalty shoot out after the game?

Arsenal and Manchester United are strong rivals in the Premier League Competition. It's the reason why I respect them in the Premier League. When you talk about rivalry, nobody or no other club comes close to Manchester United and Arsenal. I think Mikel Arteta will do a better job this season, they should be direct and intentional with every single game.

Manchester United has a long way to go, I had huge expectations from them but, immediately after that game, they need to be brute with whatever they do ahead. Antony, Sancho and Mc Tominay needs to be sold out completely. Harry Maguire is another name.

Manchester United went through relatively poor performances last season and have yet to improve their game much. The game is almost at the end, but the goal difference is 2-1 Manchester United still behind if they want to level the game they must attack strongly, score goals. Although Manchester United had a good attack in the beginning, but later they could not attack their game much. Anyway, in today's friendly match, Manchester United will lose and Arsenal will win. Honestly I don't expect much from this match, because even though they played normally I can understand because they are trying out a strategy which means they are not hunting for victory in a friendly match like this. I don't know whether this can be an assessment or not, because I'm not sure they played to their best ability, but what is clear from this match is that there is a little progress. However, I will not conclude because I am more waiting for their real match later. They must be able to experiment in a friendly match like this, because the time to be in the competition is getting closer, so they don't have much time and it is impossible for them to experiment in a real competition. Arsenal is preparing to provide a more worthy challenge because they have a target to become champions, while Manchester United wants to prove that they can be better in the coming season.

It was good performance from the Arsenal team once again. They are looking sharp going into the season. I trust whatever Arteta has been doing in this Arsenal team. I think what’s more interesting is seeing they have a decent young team that can play cup games and do well. Overall it was a good workout and I’m pleased to see some new first team faces, I think they played better vs Bournemouth.
The Arsenal squad that featured yesterday looked ready. It’s a very big good position to be in. The integration of these young players is something I’ll like to see Arteta do when the season starts.
Manchester United still have a lot to work on. Ten hag cannot take this defense into the season. More defensive signings need to be done if he wants to make the top 4.

If you look at the results, of course, Arsenal was better than Man United because they won with a score of 2-1 but that doesn't really reflect the true strength of the two teams because they didn't play with their respective best squads and this is just a friendly match. By the way on August 10th Manchester United will play against Manchester City in the Community Shield final, I don't know if it's an important game but of course if Manchester United can win then it's a good step to start the new season. Arsenal also have a game on August 11 at the Emirates Final against Lyon well that was the last try before entering the new season.

I also think Chelsea played poorly against Celtic and did not meet my expectations too. They struggled to work together and had weaknesses in defense making it easy for Celtic to win. Although preseason games are for trying new things and building teamwork Chelsea performance was still disappointing. With more time and practice Chelsea can find their rhythm and become a strong team again.

Losing Thiago Silva had a huge impact on the defense. Also, It saddens me that this club ignored Mudryk. He's made over 5 runs behind, but no one passes to him. Though mudryk creates something everytime he gets the ball. And they focused to pass the ball to the Noni, which is a crap winger. I hope Estevao replace him.

But his statement during the last press conference has signaled a new believe that he won't be leaving so soon as many people were hoping he would. Sometimes I keep asking myself why would Pep even want to leave Manchester City, a place he has built and he is well loved by the fans. He has won it all and there is no point moving to another league unless he wants to quit club football and switched to international football. He has coached in Spain, Germany and he is now in England. For me he should stay at Manchester City for many years to come and keep reaping the rewards for his hard works. When he finally decides to leave Manchester City he should go into international football and try to win the world cup that will seal his status as one of the best football coaches in history.

No doubt about that. The club will keep on bringing in new coaches to help solve their problems but I don't think it will work out if they don't solve the root cause which is changing their owner. The past three coaches from Pochettino to Lampard all had big visions for the club but because of a narrow minded owner, it then looked they didn't know what they were doing.
 Chelsea is a great club and the players are also trying their best to maintain the standard but when you are faced with the issue of adaptation from some of the new ones, and a coach who is trying desperately to impress, you get a disoriented club and their humiliating defeat to Celtic just made it so obvious how unstable they are.

The Chelsea preseason friendly game against Celtic tonight ended in a 4:1 for the Scottish side. Personally I think Chelsea were very poor in the game and lacked coordination which was why the Celtic players didn't struggle to penetrate through their defense. Of a truth, it's a preseason friendly game, but I still expected a better performance from Chelsea than what I saw considering the fact that they played against a club they're are better than. Enzo Maresca is still trying to blend the team to play his own style of football and I believe he'll do better in coming games

Chelsea less than optimal result against Celtic in a friendly match has raised doubts about Enzo Maresca ability to manage Chelsea. The players were not well coordinated, the defense was very easy for Celtic players to penetrate. I don't think Celtic is weaker than Chelsea because they are currently managed by Brendan Rodgers who is a former Liverpool manager. Chelsea previously also achieved less than satisfactory results from a team from the Welsh League (Wrexham).

Improved performance was highly anticipated after the change of coach, but Chelsea performance is still far from what was expected. Usually, a new coach needs a whole season to test the team to determine which players to put in initially and in which positions and what formation to use. Now, if Chelsea's management has high expectations about winning the Premier League, I honestly think they're going to be very disappointed. They probably won't win anything in the next two seasons. I can see this new coach being fired before his contract ends.
