Arsenal was not lucky enough during this season and they recently lost their player Mikel Merino who he joined this team just a few days ago. Mikel Merino was the player Arteta wanted to hire him and he tried to get Mikel Merino ready for the games in this season.
He left Real Sociedad and started playing for Arsenal to have the chance to play in strong teams. But in the first training session in Arsenal, he got injured and it seems Merino's going to be out for 2 months.

Maybe Mikel Merino's injury will not have a big impact on Arsenal's performance even though Arteta has indeed prepared this player to make Arsenal even stronger. But it is quite unfortunate that Mikel Merino had to suffer an injury. And I feel even more sorry for the player who had to suffer an injury before he could debut in the Arsenal squad. Even though Manchester United management gives Erik Ten Hag huge funds to utilize in the transfer window, Erik Ten Hag will still not bring back the glory days to Manchester United because he keeps singing the players he worked with when he was Ajax's head coach.

I think Manchester United are still caught in the web of last season's struggles and coach Erik Ten Hag has not found the way out yet and this doesn't really tell good of the club's future because everybody thought the club would have navigated out the the stormy weather after participating so vigorously in the transfer market bringing in new players whom we thought were going to change the club's fortunes around for good. Manchester United's coach has brought in many players this season but still they haven't been able to form the team perfectly which is why they haven't been able to bring anything good so far. If Manchester United continue to play like this, they will not be in a good position by the end of the season, but may be slower in the future. Moreover, they were considered by many to have formed a strong team for the competition this season, but their current performance of the game will not augur well for them in the league in the future. Of course, Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag needs to work harder to strengthen his squad and make his squad better.

I've a feeling Erik Ten Hag might not just escape this season because his team is absolutely in a terrible shape. They've lost completely in major roles as an elite team and winning becomes far from them. Sacking is definitely the end term given to any incompetent coach and we barely understand the category for these sectors. It's just 3 matches since the 2024/25 EPL Season resume and so far they've lost twice and won once but that's not a reason for the board to sack him so early, I think they still believe in Erik Ten Hag and that's why they've given him another chance instead of going with the other choices of replacement they listed. Well, the coach deserved a second chance and I think the board weren't biased with their decision cause despite winning the best EPL team so far in the last FA Cup finals the coach has participated in about 6 finals and won two trophies since he came to Manchester United, but fans would disregard that one only focus the team finishing 8th position last season just to get the boards attention towards sacking Ten Hag but I feel the board are not going to be pressured by the rant by fans on and the media and they'll make sure they support the coach and help him succeed just as they've done so far. Talking about the FA Cup, it's understandable if the fans behave that way, the FA Cup is an important trophy in England and moreover they didn't win the against any team but the current best in EPL also fans would want to use that as a backup when there's argument against rival fans. That was the most reasonable reason why Arsenal couldn't beat Brighton in that match, so losing one player changed the game plan from trying to win to defending so as not to lose. Brighton played more pressing in the second half and took advantage of Arsenal's lack of one player, but Brighton failed to win the match and had to be satisfied with sharing one point.

I don't think Brighton can be underestimated at all this season and we've got some evidence that they are strong. Brighton beat Manchester United and held Arsenal to a draw, those are two proofs that Brighton is dangerous. Against Ipswich in the middle of the month will be another comeback event for Brighton, of course because Ipswich doesn't seem strong so far.

Diaz is in good shape, and M.sallah has impressed me because I don't want Guadiola to win the Premier League again this season because he has won it twice before, and I don't care if he wins the Champions League, but I don't want him to have a chance to win the Premier League this season. he as won back to back is better another club achieves this season. i don't care if he can win the Champions League but I don't want him to get chance for premier league this season anymore. Arsenal was not lucky enough during this season and they recently lost their player Mikel Merino who he joined this team just a few days ago. Mikel Merino was the player Arteta wanted to hire him and he tried to get Mikel Merino ready for the games in this season.
He left Real Sociedad and started playing for Arsenal to have the chance to play in strong teams. But in the first training session in Arsenal, he got injured and it seems Merino's going to be out for 2 months.

I have to says this is big lost for Arsenal because Arteta expected Mikel Merino will make his debut match in Premier league besides that Arsenal is really needed him because Mikel Merino can be played as defensive midfielder which for this position Arsenal have no players who can playing consistent and indeed according to the latest news about his injured it says Mikel Merino will be rested for next 2 months or 7 weeks which mean until October Mikel Merino will not be available

This is very unexpected and i have to say Arsenal are unlucky however talking about new player who got the injured on this team i just remember Arsenal has one player who transfered from Ajax Jurrien Timber that this player also has similar problem just like Mikel Merino even more worst because when joining to Arsenal Jurrien Timber got long term injured and he was spend last season to recover from his injured
