It seemed he could be expected to recover quickly. This is a massive blow for mikel and arsenal. I just checked the arsenal squad, and it appears that there are only 22 registered players for the season excluding academy players. Odegaard happens to be the only creative AM I've seen so far. Merino is also good, but he is out injured as well. Rice is currently on a red card, which means he is going to miss the north London derby. I won't be surprise to see arteta playing a defender like Timber or Zinchenko as a new attacking midfielder in the North London derby. I won't suggest Havartz because he isn't creative, compare to Zinchenko and timber. Or he might just want to play a 4 defense, 2 midfield, and 4 attack kind of game. He just needs to figure things out, because Tottenham is a very good side, besides, it's a derby game. I just wish all the players quick recovery because we will be seeing other competitions soon.

I think it's clear that we are talking about something much worse here, and I believe that they just got lucky, they almost lost to championship team before that game. I know one thing about Erik Ten, he either finish in the top 4 and win the Europa conference League or get sack by the end of this season. There were news about him going to leave only for him to just and relax and see him again doing transfer movements of players again. For my mental health, they have spoilt my ticket multiple times, don't include them in your games or better still give them loss when they have match with big team like Manchester City or Arsenal.

Yes, it seems that this season is again difficult for Manchester United to break into the top three, in my opinion they will also find it difficult to break into the top four or reach the Champions League zone.

With the way Manchester United are playing currently, they can’t get into the Champions League zone, am sure about that. I am sure the opposition fans will be so excited about the recent development. This is not very good because with Odegaard's injury then indirectly this is their 6th player who cannot play especially with Odegaard's condition now he could have rested for several weeks later.

I think Man United management is still interested in some of the ideas offered by Ten Hag, outside of the contract agreement that may not be published. One of them is related to the club long term plan, which prioritizes young academy players, in addition to their transfer movements which prioritize recruiting young players. It is possible that Man United will have to pay a very large compensation if they fire Ten Hag in the middle of the season, what is clear is that the two trophies presented by Ten Hag can only be considered as entertainment.

I thought it was in the right of the coach to lie that his player had a slight injury and could not be released to support his national team. This is what Mikel Arteta should have done from the very beginning. A player like Odegard should not have left for such a competition when he has a lot to do as a captain and the best player in Arsenal. I recall those days when Sir Alex Ferguson was coaching Manchester united and in the light of the international break he could just give a white lie about a number of his key players that have sustained injury over the weekend, a strategy  just to prevent them from participating in the international break to avoid coming back with any form of actual injuries that may jeopardize his plans for the EPL title challenge.

Definitely a huge and disappointing news coming from Norway, I have always been a huge critic of international breaks between the club football seasons. Yes there is possibility of him still picking up injuries even without the international matches but as I have always said it will be a very situation that could slim down chances without the international breaks. Players this days are just been treated as Roboots which is not good and they need to speak up even if they earn lots of money.

Arsenal have lost one of their best Arsenals at the moment. My Long time worry for them with this thin squad Is for them not to lose players like Rice, Saka and most importantly Odegaard. Odegaard is their captain and very important player of Arsenal. He helped them to control ball, maintain good ball possession, provide good passes include assists and he is very goal productive midfielder too. Angle injury is not good injury type and in serious case, player can lose a whole career like Marco Van Basten who got it and had to retire when he was very young.

Arsenal will assess his injury carefully and will give Odegaard enough time for full recovery. He is very important for them but they need this player in as many matches as possible, not in some few matches. They will not take risk of using Odegaard too soon that can make him injured again.

It seems Arsenal is done with this season. Arteta shall stop to send his players to the Internationals. This is because his players often comeback injured. Odegaard and Merino are injured. Rice is suspended for two yellow cards.

The weirdest thing is that Odegaard had knock in our last game against Brighton. I don't know why Arsenal let him go. Why aren't they stopping him from playing in useless games? Any big team would have stopped him go.

Amongst the names mentioned above, I'm not certain for Victor Lindelof anyways and even if he was ready, he'll be on the bench because there's no way he is coming ahead of  Mathias De Ligt, Lisandro Martinez, Harry Maguire and Johnny Evans. Not even Leny Yoro who recently joined Manchester United.
Luke Shaw and Rasmus Hojlund would be ready for selection but they wouldn't be rushed into the squad immediately. They're trying to observe them so they don't go back Injured again.
