The three goals that Chelsea scored came from the attacking side. Rather, the defense and goalkeeper were more weak on Chelsea's side. So if you look closely at the Chelsea goals, you will see that they were not just based on Fulham's mistakes.

To be clear, Joao Pedro's first goal came from a beautiful pass by Plamer, Rogers' goal after a good work by Lacroix, and Palmer's last goal came from an attack created by Joao Pedro. Fulham had nothing here.

Their defence was what was lacking, it was surprising that Fulham didn't score more goals with Chelsea having a defense that week but that also shows that the Fulham team was also lacking, someone told me they dominated the match but does any of that even matter if at the end they can't win or even manage a draw.
I like that Chelsea won, it's a good way to start the league, for Fulham's sake they should work on their defense the same way Chelsea needs to work on theirs.

Fact, does it really matter? After dominating the game but lost at last, that's what I called beautiful nonsense, anyway I will have to give them their credit for that performance, because I can sense some sort of influence on that game, Chelsea is more influenced than Fulham so I can only say they took advantage of that, had it been it's some kind of any random underdogs teams, I'd say it would has been a win for Fulham based on what they played against Chelsea, but I'm expecting more of that from them in their next match.

Chelsea got the three points, but this is not how a team that wants to make a statement should start the season. If there were more time, Fulham should be scoring to equalize the scoreline.

I am not rating Chelsea's performance as the best. I know there are better days ahead for Chelsea. To win the league, Chelsea's defense has to be stronger to concede fewer goals. Chelsea was able to win because Fulham made a lot of defensive mistakes that cost them two goals.

I understand, and I think many of us weren't entirely convinced. For me, they were missing a little something, but hey, it's Xabi Alonso's debut, and starting with a win is a huge morale booster, especially considering the process Xabi was coming from, which had been a complete failure since he managed Real Madrid.

Perhaps they could have drawn, but they didn't. This time, the only thing that matters is that there was a win, and I'm really happy for Xabi. He deserves it because he's a very good coach; I consider him excellent, and he has nothing left to prove. Let his actions speak for themselves.

Whatever it was, at least they won and that's the joy they wanted. Of course, it's not gonna be a bed of roses for home although. We know that the premier league isn't an easy league. There is a lot of competition going on there. You don't relax, if you do, you get beaten by little teams who are fighting to remain in the league's top flight. So, anyhow, we have to give Alonso credit for winning his first game as an English team boss. It's a good start for him and it's sending the right spirit and momentum to the team and his boys, and this will guide them to a better fight that is coming up.

There might be mistakes and loopholes, and I believe he has seen some of it during the game against Fulham. And there is always room for improvement, and they will sure work on it. So, it's a good start for him I must say.

Chelsea has many very good players, Palmer is one of them as are Rodgers and Pedro if they play as they know how. Sanchez made some mistakes but the important thing is that he doesn't make them often. Everyone must work hard and give their all. They just have to commit and give everything they have to win.

Cole Palmer performance was pretty good that day as he was everywhere on the field flogging passes to his men and pressurizing Fulham defense at the same time. He also got a goal for himself and an assist. I love the players relationship and bond on the pitch, it shows that they have the same motive and goal.

It all boils down to the manager honestly. You wouldn't have seen such display and energetic flow of football under a manager who can not handle the basic things and handling the players.
There's no way Cole Palmer is not getting a call up for the international duties if this performance we saw on Monday is consistent. He must be forced to be called up by Thomas Tuchel. I'm also certain Pedro will be amongst the top three strikers for the golden ball this season, at least somebody else should win ot over Erling Haaland.

The news of Dibu Martinez is a refreshing one, he is a big club kind of goalkeeper. If they happen to get him, one can say that Chelsea are capable of winning the Premier League Competition too.

Fulham tried hard to change their fortunes, but their defense was weak and they had to concede goals as soon as they attacked. Here, if the Fulham players fought until the end but did not perform well in the beginning, then Chelsea were able to dominate and put a lot of pressure on the opposing team.
In this match, I bet on Chelsea, even if I could win, I was under a lot of pressure, maybe the game could have turned into a draw. However, Chelsea were able to win this match by emphasizing on the defense in the end.

I think this maych could have gone either ways, because both team made mistakes at the defense and it cost them goals. In my opinion I think Fulham had a good game despite losing at the end. The both teams need to work more on their defense,  especially Chelsea that are hoping to challenge for trophies this season. Chelsea have sign proper ballers and they've deliver masterclass in their opening game of the season. Maxence Lacroix is the only person Chelsea added within their center defends if not it could have been the same people of last season but however the only change now is that is no longer an inexperience person who is coaching Chelsea because what the former coach could not do with this defenders Alonso has made them to be strong so that's the difference between coaches, the forward of Chelsea is also usually weak but on this first match they didn't struggle for goals as before so that's good for them, meanwhile they only impressed people on this first leg, Alonso should make sure the victory last long for the club.

Chelsea is having a dangerous attack right now, and it’s just going to be so difficult for any team from stopping Chelsea from scoring this season. I have no problem with Chelsea attack for the season, but Chelsea defensive line is kind of weak, and their goal keeper is just annoying sometimes.

Sanchez is not just consistent, and that’s the problem am having with him. Sometimes he performs so well, and he performs so poorly in some matches. Those 2 goals conceded by Sanchez when Chelsea played against Fulham, those shots are suppose to be stopped by Sanchez, but he made some mistakes, and Fulham scored two goals in the match.

Chelsea has already been linked with Martinez, I hope Chelsea will be able to get him, because his performance is just better than Sanchez performance,  Chelsea can’t depend on a player like Sanchez.

From the last concluded games, i will say Manchester United needs more coordination and quality at the midfield to help control there game and provide more stability in there coming games so they will be able to face the battle ahead.
Although that midfield inconsistency when it has to with controlling and dominating when it is needed is the only challenge here but with The signing of Carlos is a very good move as his presence in that squad will add more strength in that midfield couple with that of mainoo still working with him in that midfield everything will be completely fine.
Apart from the fact that most times things don't usually go as planned in the world of football,  after the introduction of Carlos in Manchester united’s midfield i don't think there will be challenges any more.

I think this maych could have gone either ways, because both team made mistakes at the defense and it cost them goals. In my opinion I think Fulham had a good game despite losing at the end. The both teams need to work more on their defense,  especially Chelsea that are hoping to challenge for trophies this season. All that you said here are obviously true. The only reason Chelsea won this game was their attack, but if they truly want to challenge for major honours, they needs to step up in their defensive performance because they can't keep allowing easy chances and goals, since their will be games they will not be able to create a lot of chances or score up to three goals like they did against Fulham so they really needs to improve at the back.

 In addition to that,I think that it's high time their incompetent number one goalkeeper be drop from the starting line up because with someone like him in goal, their is no way they can win the title at the end of the season.

If you can agree to risk 100% just to get less than a half from the games such as Liverpool - Forest, MU - Ipswich, then you're welcome. I only remind you the up and down in the performance from both of clubs. So i guess moneyline in these games seem very risky, though both of clubs highly favored to win the game.

No man, you can't just draw things to conclusion because of first match display that Arsenal comfortably won there first match doesn't make them stand favorite to win the trophy, the league just started no one knows exactly what will happen next, clubs that lost today can make a surprising turn around tomorrow so i think we should be patience for now and watch the league go a bit far before we can draw to conclusion the clubs that can make it to the top, for now every club still stand a chance to win the premier league title as this is the most unpredictable league in the world.

Arsenal played a good first match, winning is never easy but reconfirming it is even more difficult. You're right, we can't say right now that Arsenal will win the Premier League, it's still too early to say. But they are favorites along with other teams, there will be fun to be had this year with the Premier League.

That's football for you, it won't always go as you planned and that hurts. From the way things look, it seems Chelsea is back on its feet, because they performed really well and if they stay consistent, that would be a good sign. But that doesn't mean one should place their hopes on them, as they might disappoint one at any time. Also, if Fulham maintain the level of performance they showed against Chelsea, they could go far this season. But we can't conclude which team is better yet, until their next matches and if they prove to be consistent, especially Chelsea, as consistency would show that they are on their way back into the top four.

Amongst the games you predicted or selected I don't feel safe on Liverpool and Manchester united because of their performance I don't think they will be able to win the game. Manchester united winning this game is not certain but the worst that will happen will be a draw same thing with Liverpool, Nothingham forest can win Liverpool so these game are not safe but Arsenal winning is 90 percent certain and for the Chelsea there will be goals definitely.

In this first week, I didn't expect several big teams to lose so embarrassingly. Because, as we all know, Manchester United lost to a newly promoted team. But besides Manchester United, there are also several other big teams that also lost in their first match. Those teams are Aston Villa, who lost very badly to Brighton. The sure way to progress in the league is to win your matches, History will forget that Fulham dominated that match but what will be remembered is that Chelsea won and that's why even though clubs like someone who can play thru like someone who can score even more.

Without seeing the match someone can make the mistake of thinking that they won because Aston Villa lost a man but what's surprising for me is that Brighton didn't score more after that red card, I suppose they were satisfied with 4 goals.
