Crystal palace seem to be short on firepower at the moment especially with Ismaila Sarr and Mateta out due to injuries, Man City is obviously gonna win.

It's quite a huge risk if truly you pick this game under 2.5, you've got some bolls I must say, but it's all a game of football where anything can actually happen, who knows your prediction might come out to be just accurate, but I must say once again it's indeed a huge risk you took, because someone like me I can never do that, else I dash out the money to the needy, but sometimes in terms of gambling you have to think outside the box sometimes, I only hope it works out for you, but for me? The main responsibility of managers starts from the middle of the season, now every manager has his best team and every player is active now, so we can't say anyone is good or bad at the beginning of the season. We don't have much doubt about Xabi Alonso, but as you say, we need to see 5 more games to see how he is going to do at Chelsea. But we need to see 15-20 more games to see his real skills at Chelsea. To see his player management skills, it is important to see how he does without the main XI, how effective his tactics are in moments of pressure are not yet proven. He played well against Fulham, but this game is not enough to judge him. I want to praise him right now for signing Martinez as a goalkeeper, this signing will strengthen their weak goalkeeping. Crystal Palace shouldn't be an issue for us because we still don't trust Manchester City. We should be able to tell what will happen from this game, at the very least, and we will know if they are prepared because we don't want to be disappointed. On the plus side, even if we don't win the Premier League or the Champions League, we still have a chance to win another trophy, and it is not like Pep is gone, gone. I can see some level of improvement in Maresca lineup for tonight match. With what I’m seeing, I have this believe that Manchester City will win. I understand that many of us are waiting for that bad results to start hitting Manchester City so we can validate that their downfall has started. The most revealing but unfortunate part is that the two goals delivered in the match were scored by Ajayi and Mendy who are not strikers, winger or centre-forward, but center-back, which proves huge lapses. Man U dominated truly, but what's the point if that couldn't be converted into the needed goals? Still, I would not give up on the squad, they could be warming up/connecting to their new season reality, I think. It is like this at times, with the team doing better later.

Ipswich achieved good wins early in the season by properly utilizing their team momentum and new players. So Ipswich cannot be called weak directly. Manchester United will definitely perform well. Losing the first match of the big teams is not a big problem. They do various experimental activities in one or two matches at the beginning of the season. So losing at the beginning of the season is not a big cause for concern. Its seems to me that Manchester United will show their strong performance in the next matches.
