France are once again playing their worst football, losing 2-0 already in the first half... Denmark is certainly not the worst team, but it seems to me that for France it should have been an easy opponent... I don't know what can happen in the second half, but France will probably lose this game... Not sure what they are hoping for before the upcoming World Cup, showing such terrible football now!

Beaten by Denmark is bad and losing 2-0 is worse. Denmark does not belong to top national teams in Europe so this defeat is terrible for France. That means even they have many stars, their squad does not operate smoothly as expected. It might become worse when World Cup kick-offs as there might be more injuries in coming months as well as more drama around the World Cup.

No big team really played on top level on Nation League this year just because of World Cup and in order to prevent important players from getting injured they chose to manage some players or play them a fewer minutes than usual. Nationes League is not so attractive and it's understandable but for some low classified teams , this is a chance to catch last spots for Euro so yea...another factor of why we see surprises in results.

Of course they don't play matches in Nations League at full energy but they don't want to waste such opportunities to do their very last testing for the World Cup that is upcoming in next more than 2 months.

That's why you might get a great odds betting against big teams as things might be complicated as well as the  loss of france to denmark earlier today , despite france play with the full power ... full squad , they are taking the match no too seriously but a warming up.

On the contrary, we saw many of the big team struggled during the qualifiers too, so it's not just because of the world cup they're playing really terribly, all these players are all going back to their respective club sides and have around 10+ games to play before the world cup gets underway, if they're having injury scare for just two fixtures now, how will they go about the over 10 matches to be played for their club sides ? and some of them have not even secured a seat in the world cup squad, so this is the time you'd expect them to want to impress their coaches to deserve a spot in their respective squad lists for the tournament, So, I really don't buy the idea of the big teams not playing to their beat strengths.

I just realized that the top 4 tournament will be played in the summer? Basically 9 months after the group stage - not really the best way to go.

Most of national teams focus on regular group phase because its far easier to go up from there. I think it was meant to be competitive as teams in first league are far better than others, but I don't think players care a lot about it. Nations league knockout process is really tiresome.

I think France has the most star players of any football team. Mbappe is one of the most in-form players in the team. Besides Griezmann, Mandy and many other players who play great football. All together will be a great team in the upcoming World Cup. However, I cannot consider France as a favorite team this time.
