England had a really big difficulty in finding that equalizer but they still managed to score in the last minutes of the match. Harry Kane saved one point for his team by scoring a penalty in the 88th minute. I was waiting for a quite competitive match and a draw at the end so the result didn't make me astonished or so. And in the other match of the same group, Italy defeated Hungary by a decent score like 2-1. Italy were the much better playing team by the way and even the goal they conceded was an own goal. Italy are leading the group now and it hasn't been a good start for Germany and England so far at all.

I believe Italy failure to qualify for the World Cup made the team to be rebuilded the team look stronger now, they had been playing brilliantly well in the Nation league and I am looking forward to their match against the English team, England vs Germany match was quite an entertaining match with Germany taking much of the possessions and I was very impressed with Musiala the German youngster who was very impressive and skillful player and congratulations to Harry Kane for scoring the penalty and his 50th goal for England.

Germany have a more composed and organized squad than England. You could see the high press from the Germans during out the game. Until Jack Grealish came on it was extremely poor. I was a good game from a star studded England team but got the opposite. There was no communication between the players. Honestly, I think Nico Schlotterbeck’s attempt to play the ball no matter the outcome counts as an intentional play. Not England's fault that in doing so he played it into Harry Kane. Yes Germany were way more dominant but that was a legit penalty. It was played onside. We don't have to like it, but it is the rules of the game.

I would say that the result of the game is fair, because despite Germany's playing advantage, they managed to score only one goal, usually this is not enough to comfortably end the game and not be afraid that the opponent will win back. Now, thanks to this result, the teams of England and Germany still do not have a single victory in the group, and the Italian team is in the first place. In future games it will suit Italy enough draws against direct competitors to defend their first place.

I don't think that should have been a penalty. It was a 50/50 thing for me. You could even argue Kane fouled the German player. Kane left his left his trailing - probably looking for the pen - and his leg looks to have hit the German player and that ricochet caused him to trip them both up. Kane might have even been offside as well. That disallowed German goal for offside looked to have come off Maguire as well but they didn't show it close up again in the highlights so hard to tell.

The UEFA Nations League is probably one of the least important tournaments for the players and there almost always play like it is a friendly match. So, often it becomes really hard to predict. And that's what has been happening in this UEFA Nations League.

I also think that Italy and Germany should win but as I have said the players play this like friendly matches and we all know that no one gives too much importance to a friendly match. That's why it generally becomes really hard to predict anything.

The Nations League matches are essentially just glorified friendlies. Just UEFA trying to give the matches some meaning and milk some more money out of it in the process.
