It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

If you even tried to read my post, you would know Bitcoin trader has been paying for almost 6 months now. You can talk about ponzies as much as you want while I make money, I am fine with that.

So I log in to check if my funds have been released yet, (request release on the 17th) and it looks like btcs has been sold to a Global Capital Alliance.

On the plus side they are still keeping track of the 1 btc and change they owe me.

On the negative side they have put that money it what they are calling a legacy account and no money in legacy accounts earn any profit, they just sit until they are reviewed by the new company that has bought them out, and hopefully* they will release the funds.

I tried to do some research on the company that bought them out but could only find info on capital alliance or global capital but no Ron James, the CEO of The Global Capital Alliance . If anyone could post some links for this company that would be great, so we can all see who we are dealing with.

If you aren't interested in what we have to say here then just move along.

If you hurry I think they just released the next alt coin claiming to be bitcoin 2.0. So run along.

Bitcoin trader usually posts their results about 7-8 PM. CET. Depending on your current location, calculate your time.

Hi gentso1, youre saying btcarbs just got sold?

yup, at least that is what they are saying. When I logged into my account yesterday there was a message sent out to all account holders. I could not find any information on the name of the company that bought them though or there CEO.

Hey crazyivan, What did btc-arbs do with your coins? Did it place them into a legacy account?

Personally I think it will be now or very soon that they will do there runner. I think that this buy-out by a fictitious company is just so they can pin the blame on someone else when it happens. These are just my .02 cents but it may not be a bad idea to withdraw your coins for  a few days and watch how this goes down. That is if your funds are able to be withdrawn.

How is btc trader doing? Is everyone still happy with them?

Just a little more info but below is the msg that I sent to btc arbs and what they sent back to me. IDK maybe they people that bought these guys are legit or maybe they are just trying to limit the withdraws before they do the runner. They are at least polite now and they have moved a small amount out of the legacy fund and into my wallet there that *should* be available for withdraw.

Thank you for your message. As the new owners of BTC-Arbs we are happy to hear from you and are interested in hearing any suggestions that you may have. We are aware that the "Legacy Fund" method of doing things isn't ideal for some members, however it is the best way to ensure that all of our books are in order as we begin to move forward. As you will see, we have already started to transfer a portion of the Legacy Funds back to the main balance. Furthermore, we have processed all withdrawals that we have received.

We would appreciate your patience during this transition. A manual verification of the funds within the system is necessary, particularly due to the fact that there were a number of issues that arose as a direct result of the Heartbleed bug.

Further information regarding this transition will be provided in the coming days, along with information about our acquisition of an official investment license.

Sincerely,
Ron James & The Global Capital Alliance

Hi, I placed a withdraw request on the 17th which was never filled and now has been canceled because of the company being sold and the new company wants to do some accounting, which I understand. With that being said my request was put in on the 17th and my funds are now tied up in a account that earns no interest and should have been released to me all ready. Can you give me a estimate of when my funds will be back in the interest earning wallet or when I will be able to withdraw my funds if I choose to do so. Thanks in advance.

Yup, my coins are in the same place as yours, legacy fund. A very small chunk of my coins was also transferred to my regular balance yesterday. I will not be publishing BTC-arbs daily updates until this issue gets resolved.

Regarding Bitcoin trader, they are doing fine, yesterday the result was +1.21%. There was also a newsletter with photos of one of their representatives visiting Bitcoin expo 2014 in Toronto, Canada. According to this newsletter, the entire visit was sponsored by the Bitcoin trader.

Thanks for the info, btc arbs is looking less and less legit and btc trader is looking more and more legit everyday.

Lets support the sites that support there customers and make others aware of the ones that don't.
