Do you trust Active telegram Groups?

Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment 

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.

We all seen a lot of scams here in telegram because it is just easy to do and create something in telegram. A lot of projects use the platform telegram in managing their community which actually effective in the past years. But for me it's not about if it is an active group or not but if it is legitimate or a scam group in telegram. Most of the time there is no reason for people to trust telegram groups or projects because it is most of the time a scams group. The only time I actually join a group in telegram if it is recommended by the project that I want to participate in that way you could be sure that the group your in is legit.

I am not sure telegram group activities will have an impact on the success of a project, because telegram group activities can only be a forum for friendship to introduce the projects we are participating in, whereas the success of a project is determined by the number of investors who invest in the project.

Success of any cryptocurrency project doesn't solely depends on telegram because many telegram  groups are just for the purpose of deceit. There are active telegram groups with fake activities in the group, while some are just fake telegram members. Mostly those telegram groups are for the pump purpose or for outright scam. Personally, I don't look at the telegram group channels before choosing my project to make investment, they can be deceitful.

When started each report via telegram I did not see any improvement that could be fun and contribute to be useful because it was only used for non-educational interactions. because one and the other do not provide the correct information, so there is a bad turmoil and seems to be a place to let go of resentment.
the existing benefits have not happened so far, it is better to return to normal because they will be more prudent and will be afraid to have bad interactions because they involve accounts that will have an impact.

i stopped following they and i delete all my groups,though i still have community group of our fellow countrymen but not for anything in regards to prices speculation but only for fellowship and Projects to help others.

Active telegram group could mean two things. A real active telegram group that's solely out of people's curiousity making the group so active and flooded with many good quality question and answer or just a grup that exist merely to create artificial group and filled with bots or paid people. If it's the first then its gonna have a good chance of success but usually people couldn't figure out whether the people discussing inside the group is real or not so I would consider this not an absolute way to determine success of a project.

i know there was alot of service that offers telegram boost but the demand of buying real people to telegram have died down  maybe because its more expensive than availing a single subscription of bots but atleast real people are way more better because this makes the channel and conversation natural looking . while bots can easily be figured out  because they are only programmed and their response can be repeativive  .  when it comes to success legit telegram can be more succesful because you can answer and guide your investors

Scammers have found a way to increase membership of their telegram channel to make it look legit and active they are paying for subscribers and they run bounty campaign, if investors will believe in OP's study he will be at loss and will lose his investment, he should check if he has the correct data.

Telegram and team members can never be considered a good project based on their activity and I would never call it the best project. I always want to see their development activities and always aim for what they are including as products for their tokens. Do you know there has many fake and unless project but there telegram activity good without continue project.

If you want to determine if a telegram group can influence the success of a project, you need to read the conversations.

If there are too few intelligent discussions and just more of hypes and shills, you can bet it's going to be a shitty project.

So, pay attention to the group's activity and not how many members are in the telegram group.

Telegram is now irrelevant for judging a project. So many manipulation can be done by using the smallest effort like buying bot accounts or even paying people to create fake chats. Of all things telegram is the most unaccurate if being used for choosing project. heck, even the shill are too overbearing there and filled with too much opportunist.

So, pay attention to the group's activity and not how many members are in the telegram group.

That is undertaking, they are talking with their own agenda, promoting different projects, not the project itself. That is useless to find such telegram groups and to agree with you, numbers really that matter but being how the group molded to keep the community aware of their project and the benefits that investors might get.

Actually, I don't trust this kind of new project and also I just notice a lot of defi hype these days. And, lots of social media promoter inviting people to join their telegram which I have doubt that in a long term this project will be stand out. So even it's a new or active telegram group we cannot determined of the world project is legit and good to invest.

I can't comment on the project you have posted but trusting telegram depends on what kind of message are being posted. Check chat history and see if there are too many same messages being posted. If discussion is healthy and people are discussing quality of the project then project is legit, if there are too many gif then ignore it. Perfect example is cardano telegram group it's filled with real people discussing technical as well as financial aspect of the product.

Based on my experience, I really cannot trust anything that has a telegram chat. Well not all but most of them I can't trust. Basing on my experience in bounties, one bounty that I joined has a telegram chat and it was active from the bounty period until a year after the bounty ended. Then all of a sudden they will announce that the tokens we earned did not succeed and they will develop a new project with new rules and the saddest thing here is that the tokens we have received are now worthless. Very careful he who easily believes crypto prophets on Telegram. Just continue staying vigilant.

Personally i never ever trust on telegram group because there are business everywhere. Maximum projects telegram  has bumping group so that you can not understand which is real or fake. So i think investors should read target projects whitepaper, roadmap and also connect to CEO directly. So he can easily know the actual condition of that project. Otherwise upset will be part of yours.

being active in telegram makes us know information about a project or coin that we are investing in, in it a lot of information that can make a coin go up and down if we invest in coins we have to know where the developments already going

Be aware that telegram channel can add a person even that member is not visiting the group. Its hard to trust telegram channel even how active they are because telegram is mostly use by different type of scammers. They can also fake the conversation by having multiple  account to talk to each other .so for me its not good idea to trust a channel because they are active.

I don't think an active telegram group will determined if the project are succesful or not, and also it's depend on how an "Active telegram group" meaning for you. If a lot of people joined the group everyday, doesn't mean the group are active. If people talking each other like everytime, it's also cannot be suddenly determined as an active group,  it's depend on how the quality of the conversation itself, especially when the project have an active Telegram Bounty which is required people to be active on the group.

You can't trust the active telegram about project group. However, it is much better when developers are active in social networks than completely ignore them.

Thats right, and it happened to me often, waking up in different channel and I was added by random users. Good thing I set my settings so random people cant add me anymore.

Indeed. It depends why the telegram is active. If its important and related to the project itself then its good. But if it is active because of the members only and no part of the team were present then its not reliable and just a normal discussion of members.

I don't really understand your criteria for active telegram groups. From what I know xfinance I think B, there is a lack of discussion about the project and some bots that are members of the telegram. For me an active telegram is a telegram that always discusses new developments or new information and members there have an average of 40% active in chat. Instead of that you also have to pay attention to people's responses to a project, so that you can analyze whether many users are satisfied with the developer or not.
