depending on the activity, if the telegram is only active to ask for prices, bounty campaigns, give away prizes, that does not guarantee the project has a good future.
But if a project is more active in discussions about product development or business models, future plans, questions and answers from team members with investors, progress updates, talking about opportunities and others related to advancing the project, then this has great potential for investors.

We can also select which projects are good and which projects do not need to be studied through activities on telegrams or discussion media used by the related project

not really unless they say the right thing and fit into their roadmap.
indeed most successful projects are projects that have an active community.
however it does not guarantee 100% that the project is not a scam, because the scam project is much more active in finding victims.

Relying on the telegram channel to make an objective observation is very difficult, the active and deceptive groups have no different manifestation, they are very positive. I don't see the development team profile in the xfinance project? Anonymous projects are really hard to define.

Yes, many has fail in the group because they think all project has the same active to make their project a successful one. There are many bonus in active telegram if you  carry out your campaign very well but many still find it difficult to achieve something good from the project.
Here are some steps some people miss that make them talk there are scammers in telegram:

3) Regular all time.

I think if you're looking to gather information or to keep up to date with what's happening across cryptocurrency in general Active Telegram groups are a good source.
Other than that, I wouldn't go trusting people on there about potential good projects. The best I'd do is look them up only if I think they're good I'll show interest not otherwise.

So, active telegram groups are great for disseminating information but my trust doesn't go any further than that.

How did you get your analysis I mean how did you come up with that result? Anyway I don't trust any group projects in telegram no matter the number of the of people joined active users since you can create telegram with a phone number and can create multiple accounts so it's better if you are an investor to check out the service or the project's solution that the certain group is offering.

Wow, if you are already have 6 years of experience in cryptocurrency field, then you should not newbie anymore.
Active telegram group is good for find the information about the project you want to invest.
This is important because without active group, you cannot ask freely and you can get real time answer by the admin at the same time.

you are right, I think not only good and fast response in discussion forums. but the update of the project progress given is what makes a lot of people believe in the project. I am just like you, not very active in the telegram group. but every day I definitely see how progress is happening in the project group. I always hope there will be good news that makes me even more excited about the projects I am participating in.

I don't know much about Xfinance, I'm guessing it's another DeFi project? Well if it's good enough you should know since you can figure out which projects are scam just by checking out their telegram groups, I hope you know the crypto investment rules, do not invest what you can't afford to lose

There are plenty of active telegram groups which are just doing phishing and baiting newbies to join them and take advantage of it to scam those newbies and get money from them which I have noticed for over the past years I have been using telegram and participating on different telegram groups.

Upon reading all your sentiments and analyzation I strongly agree that mostly of the active telegram groups always turns out to be scam projects or seldomly unsuccessful it is base on my own experienced as well being a bounty hunter of about a year now.

I think the project has good team members if the team structure is all filled. it will definitely run smoothly and even the community will be crowded. A crowded community does not mean a scam.

i dont trust but i follow. Because if you want to understand this market, you have to follow telegram channels, discord and 4channel. Without this 3 you can not follow the updates, new projects etc.

I didn't trust telegram group but I need to follow to have some information's regarding the project. But sad to say that most or large number of telegram group is turned to scam. Yes, they are active with thousands of members but you can't get even a single good information or the project team just leave suddenly and let others operate.

active telegram group is very important for me, especially if the team always give us the latest informations about their project

seems this is not a good project because after hit about $650 the price down hard my friend and back to the bottom, just my opinion
by the way, if you bought this project below $100 and sell above $500 i think you already got a good profit

If the Telegram groups are active, then this is good so that everyone, by asking questions, can eliminate their fears and find out whether this project will achieve successes or not, if any project group is active on Telegram and they answer people's questions, this does not mean that they may fulfill their promises, and we must not rely entirely on Telegram groups in making an investment decision.
